people don’t know this Shaq and I used to always at the end of practice shoot free throws together And so when you watch someone shoot free throws and especially Shaq he would make them all the time in practice And so he and I had a little rapport going So I would just go up to him said talk to him mess with him get him not thinking about it because that’s what it’s about You know basketball is a sport you don’t have to think about because as little kids we start doing it and it becomes second nature And I just told him man I said don’t think about a lot of times I would just go up there to him and say you know if we miss this you lose and you gonna be the goat of this game right you know just to get his mind off it or make it focused Just little things like that You know I love Shaq there
