Do the Cleveland Cavaliers have a role player on its roster that could swing a playoff series?

We hope you stay healthy and have a successful 2025 year. All right guys, two more topics to get to this next one’s brought to us by Monarch Money. We have seen throughout the NBA playoffs that roll guys, different roll guys on different teams have basically swung series. We saw it against Cleveland with Indiana having Nemhard and Naismith and some other guys make shots against the Knicks. Nemhard and Naismith got all up in Jalen Brunson, forced him out of his. Comfortability we saw in OKC. Caruso stepped up, guarded Nikola Jokic in the final couple of games of that series, and swung the playoff series essentially for lack of a better term. My question today is, we know the Cavs roster can change. We know there’s also a chance it could come back as it is basically built at least by the core and Foundation state uh speaking. So Jason, do you think the Cavs have a role player on the roster that is capable of swinging a playoff series at some point in the future? Do you count Max Dres as a role player because I do Max as a player then yes, because I think I, I mean I know he had a terrible game in the elimination game against the Pacers, but uh we’ve talked at length about what he meant to this playoff run and being a guy who’s been to the finals and has that experience, ability to make open shots. Uh, I, I felt like Donovan, he was the player that Donovan trusted the most at a lot of points in this playoff run. So absolutely I think uh the Cavs have a role player who can swing a series because I think Max is that guy that’s why they brought him here. That’s it was when you talk about the turnaround of the Cavs, I can point to bigger moments, but getting Max Drews to agree to come to Cleveland and sign the free agent contract they did was a pretty big moment for this franchise for a team that has always struggled to sign free agents. Cleveland’s never been a destination and for them to go out and target a guy like Max and be able to sign him and bring him in. And for him to deliver on what was expected of him, I think it’s been a great pickup, and I think he has brought them exactly what they need. I feel like, I feel like Max Stru like played better than Jared Allen and, and Garland in that series. Like, you know, he was a dude that hit a lot of big threes like, you know, he didn’t have a really good game in a closeout game or whatever the case may be, but. Man, he, he showed the most emotion out of the rest of them. Like you, you talk about, uh, him and Donovan Mitchell. I thought that, you know, I, you know, I’ll be, I’ll be on Strus all the time. I’ll be, you know, mad sometime. I’ll be thinking he should be starting sometime, but I’m gonna be honest with you, he was probably the second most consistent dude, uh, throughout the playoff run, so. Um, yeah, I think he is, uh, he’s a role player, stretcher before, so I ain’t got a problem with him and he play hard, so that’s all I’m asking for. Wow, is that gonna be your answer to the question, Max Drews? Heck no. Because let me, let me get this out of the way so you can take the — floor because you didn’t come here to talk about Max
— at all, at all. I didn’t. When I heard that comment on your boy, I thought, uh oh. Well we have it. Yeah, I know, before you get there, let me just echo what Jay said. Yeah, I was gonna ask the same question that Jay did. Are we counting him as a role player? Because to me, to me it felt like he was. When you talk, you don’t know, but to a player. Comes off the bench. — I don’t think you have to be a bench player to be a
— player. No, I know. That’s why our definitions of it are different. If I answer it this way, if you’re not. A starter Then you’re a role player by definition. You’re coming in and you’re spilling, you’re giving some minutes, you’re adding a defensive punch, you’ve got a shooter’s touch. You’re a role player. And then the stars are the starting players. Those are the guys, and that’s why I know he’s not a core 4 guy. And so to me, he’s kind of on that fringe. I think they use him more as a guy who I wouldn’t call a role player. Because he’s asked to do so much. And so for me, if he’s a role player, yes, he can absolutely swing the series 100%. I just don’t know that we’re actually hitting the definition of what a role player is. I think a role player is anyone who’s not one of your stars, and he’s definitely not one of the cats’ stars. OK, we, we just have different definitions. All right, so we’re on the same page, truce, but I I definitely think the guy can swing a series. We didn’t see it this year, but I, I love his fire. You mentioned his fire. To me, there’s one guy that matches Donovan’s I want to win more than I want my next breath energy, and it’s Max Drews. Everybody else is like, Yeah, it’s cool. Max. Family pickup game win great too cool for school. Yeah, but these guys want to win more than they want their next breath. I need, I need more than 2 of those guys on my team, and I actually think he swings the series more than Jared Allen, and he’s part of the core 4. You’re right, I would agree with that. I mean, Matt Struski give you 2 to 3 things like it’s just, you know, Jared Allen, I’m asking for physicality. I’m asking for defense, but he’s limited offensive. And if he’s not gonna be bringing that energy of fire against a guy like, like, look, Miles Turner just hit a bank shot 3 against OKC to steal game one and OKC like that’s that’s the level where we were talking about Jared, we’re not, we’re not. I just want loose ball rebounds on free throws out. So what is your answer for the role player that can swing a series? — As if I had to
— ask, before you go, should we just listen to Shaq? Yeah man, listen, don’t, don’t listen to Bush. I, I’m just, I’m a little old G Bush who likes to like talk about like shoes and stuff. Don’t listen to me, just listen to, to one of the greatest of all time, Shaquille O’Neal, one of the 50 greatest players, one of the most dominant players of all time. I think a dominant player knows what talent looks like. Go ahead, Shaq. Talk to him. I wanna start a new segment, Adam and Shane. I want to call it what the are you doing? Who are you talking about now? I’m gonna go first. You ready? Yeah. To the Cleveland Cavaliers general manager, what the are you doing? Why is Emani Bates in the G League? What the is going on? This mother can play. The last game you put him in here what 7 3s. Don’t you think you need that for a championship? Whoever you are, general manager for Cleveland, what the are you doing? — And that was what the are you doing brought to you by
— play man score. If I’m a coach, I want all the scores I can. I’m like you’ve been in the G League for 2 years. Boy, Shaq had to take his glasses off. He did them like this. Hey, listen. Cleveland Cavaliers, man, — you look so different with your
— glasses on. I know, bro. I know I’ve never seen you with your glasses. Cleveland Cavaliers. Jason Lloyd, get on the phone and tell your friend Kobe Altman, what are you doing? this man. This man and Monty Bates, let’s talk about it real quick. I don’t understand what’s wrong with people. I, I don’t understand it. Like we, we got Isaac Okoro. He averages a paltry 3 or 4 points in the playoffs every single year, but I can keep telling people, oh, Isaac, he fools you all regular season and they leave him alone in that little corner over there and he, with colorful gym shoes shooting bricks. He’s not doing anything. — Getting the
— side of the hitting the side of the backboard, running up and down the court just because, let’s just repeat it, just because. He hustles does not mean he’s nice. Dean Wade, we got this man 69, the vanilla wolf himself during the regular season, he’s cooking. He’s hitting open jumpers. His beard is shaped up. He’s locking people up. — Would you just come up with that nickname is always saying that the in the
— quarters. I haven’t heard that, but I love it. And then we get to the playoffs and Dean Wade. Is missing in action, getting the ball taken from him in the front court just sitting around just looking spooked, looking scared. Let me repeat this, just because he hustles does not mean he’s good. You got two guys. We can’t see Jalen Tyson, we can’t see none of them. And by the way, if you look at me, you look at Amani Bates and like Shaq said, all jokes aside. In the playoffs, you need a dude that can get you a bucket. When you, you need a dude to go unconscious. The great thing about the Pacers is when they got Naismith. Uh uh Mathern and what’s the other dude? And Nim hard. Listen, they got all of these dudes, right? They got these guys are black dudes with white names. I don’t understand how it works, but that’s why I can’t remember them. They got black they just exfusing. But guess what they do. They knock down open shots. They’re athletic, and those are the little dudes that’s been killing you, not Halliburton. You get the ball to Halliburton when you want to win at the end of the game cause that’s automatically going in. But the shots that hurt you is these shots like that from these dudes that’s coming in getting hot. You talk about uh uh Caruso with Oklahoma City, and you can go pastcaliaam who spent a lot of time in the G-League before he, he came up with. The Raptors, if you want to win in this new collective bargaining era where you ain’t got no money, they don’t let you trade for everybody, you ain’t getting no big threes. You better be developing somebody, you better have you somebody coming off the bench and what better way to do it than a guy who can hit 7 threes in a game from half court. Now granted, does he have deficiencies? Sure, but when you’re talking about a role player. Well that you talk about a rogue guy. All you’re looking for is a trait. I’d rather take the 68 guy than than than Ty Jerome getting posted. Uh, I would just rather take the 68 guy in spurts over. Listen, he shoots the same as Sam Merrow, but he’s 4 or 5 inches taller and you, and here in my case here, Jason, you said it the other day, you gotta, you have no choice but to accept this. You know what the Cavs, you know, the key to their system was, uh, when, when they won a championship, there’s two things. They unleashed Kyrie Irving, right? They unleashed him and say, listen, you ain’t no point guard. Just go out there and be a dog. They got a guy like that kind of and Darius Garland, right? They got a guy that score a little bit, but you know what saved their season? They made this trade for Iman Shepard and JR Smith and JR Smith, people oh he has a headache, he’s this and that. JR Smith is the guy that don’t care. He’s unconscious on the court. He, he pulls up in circumstances where you’re like, this is a horrible, I cannot believe JR Smith just hit that shot. They need a couple of him and. And they got somebody that’s for the cheap on the low that they can develop and give minutes to and work their way in. I ain’t saying he a playoff ready dude today, but work the man in and like Shaq said, come on man, come on, bro, he could play. Stop playing around. You’ve been in Geague 2 years. Uh, I, I’ll go. We’re looking at each other like who wants it first, um. Can we put his, his Back of his basketball card up again, his stat page. Yeah, yeah, sure we can. Uh, is this his 3 point shooting field goal percentage? Nope. Case closed. There you have it. Thanks for coming. One other thing that I would say, um, and Jeb Bush’s argument, Bush said, don’t, don’t listen to me, listen to Shaq. Top 50 player of all time. Who’s the greatest player of all time? LeBron I know where I’ll I’ll play along play, right? Yeah, OK, greatest player of all time. How’s he doing in the talent evaluation department? How’s LeBron doing in the talent evaluation? Let me tell you this though. Just because you’re good — does not mean you recognize
— good. Let me tell you this. Kobe, let’s talk about the list of inefficient players. He was one of the most inefficient players of all time. Allen Iver Allen Iverson was inefficient. Uh, Bob Kozy was inefficient. Uh, uh, uh, uh, Pistol Pete Maravich was inefficient. You’re not saying that he’s got some of their skill set. No, no, he can shoot from half court. That’s undeniable. He shoots is just as good as what’s his ability is crazy. So what’s his 3 point shooting percentage? 33. So this is his full G-League stats. He’s played 35 GLeague games. He’s taken 391 3s in 35 G League games, averaging over 10 threes per game. He’s shooting 33.8% on those threes. — That’s
— unserviceable. What do you mean? — His shooting is
— unserviceable. Can we, can we, can you tell me, can you tell me, because by the way, this isn’t the NBA, this is the G-League, and by the way, that’s not the NBA regular season. We need him in the NBA playoffs. This is, see, this is, this is the red herring here. We do this all the time. We’re actually doing it right now when it comes to football. We say that we need you to prove that you’re earning. Minutes, but what do we do? We put you with in you’re your people. When you play with inferior talent and people that don’t really wanna play no defense or do anything, you say, well, that doesn’t count cause you’re playing inferior people. you’re like, well, listen, give me the opportunity to play with people. Do you think Emani Bates is going to take more open shots when he’s playing with Donovan Mitchell or G-League players? You G-League. He doesn’t have the the quality defenders out there. Donovan, when you’re playing with starters, you actually have people that you’re playing with that, that know what they’re doing and can do their thing. — He did
— start a game at least, right? He has. I mean he did that, but yeah, good or bad, he had 10 or 10. — It’s it’s a he was
— 36th in the G-League in scoring this year, 36th. He, yeah, — because they
— score buckets in the he was they don’t play defense. No, not his 3%. He was 12th in the GLeague. And like, so if, if you make half court shots, but he also misses a lot you’re gonna, if you, you have to, he should be dominating the G League. If you are dominating the G-League, it gives you a little bit more. Runway to then see if it if it’s if Dean Wade played in the G-League, he would dominate in the G-League. Isaac Cora would dominate in the G League. — Do you
— think so? No, no, no, yes, let me tell you why. Let me tell, let me tell you why. Let me, who’s the, who’s the Matt McClung was his name? Mac McClung. Guess what? He’s like the G-League MVP. Right, yeah, and he gets he won MVP last year, — and
— he gets no one. See what the NBA, no, what the NBA is, no, the NBA is about what role can you fulfill. It’s not about how good you are. I, uh, Caruso talked about it. He said, when you’re in the GLeague and why he, he talked about why there’s a lot of people in the G-League that don’t get an opportunity. He said, because a lot of people in the G League do not understand what role. Actually actually trying out for. He, he’s like, you gotta fit a, a specific part, a specific role for specific minutes, and it takes luck to even if you got a stack team, if you’re playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, right? I don’t care who they got in the G-League, they won 69 games or something stupid. You’re not gonna be getting minutes on that on our roster. Can I ask you a question on what you just said specifically? Yes. What do you think, and and I’m being genuinely curious with what you think here. I’m, I’m not trying to set you up for anything. What do you think Amani Bates’ role on the NBA version of the Cavs is versus what Amani Bates thinks his role should be on the NBA version of the Cavs? Well, I can only go, I can only go on what Amani Bates has, has said. Publicly, he said, I’m just trying to get better, doing what the coach is asking me to do and working on my game. Formay Bates, I think his, his role is a scorer coming off the bench, a score that has the ability to stretch the floor and that can knock down shots. Now here’s the thing. You gotta give them an opportunity to see it. Like at the end of the day, I’m, I’m asking people and I’m, I’m, I’m, because people think it’s funny. Dean Wade has shown you he’s not playable. But we continue to play him. Isaac A Coro is the most head scratching #5 pick in the world. He, he, he is, he can’t dribble. He hustles. He can’t knock down open shots. I, I don’t know why there’s an infatuation with consistently giving him more minutes. At some point you have to say we got a kid that was unanimously thought about is one of the best players in the, in, in the country as a youth. He has a skill set like Shaq says, if I see a guy that can hit 7 3s in an NBA game, I’m not playing him in the Geague. I’m gonna give him an opportunity to earn a role with the roster because guess what? How much did he play with the Cavs this year? What were his? Not very much. No, he played 42 minutes in the last game of the season where he hit the 3s, but he averaged like 1.2 minutes per game. So I mean it’s very, very very limited. I’m looking for er I’m, I’m not looking for starting. I’m looking, I look at these other teams and you, you take a look at what the Denver Nuggets did. The Denver Nuggets won a championship not because of Joker. Yes, you had Joker, but when you have Porter and you have all these other guys and Brown, you gotta find somewhere to get, get these young guys and get some more, some more energy to figure out if you could develop somebody. Right now we’re talking about trading Darius Garland. We take all about trade Jared Allen. Yes, those are ways you can get better, but at the end of the day, you still also need to get better by, by. Turning something into into something else and that’s developing somebody that you got on your roster and it’s free. Well, they’ve been developed, they’ve been trying to develop them. That’s why he’s, but, but he’s been doing the last two years and I do think that there’s gonna be opportunities in this rotation because both Sam and and Ty Jerome, I don’t think will come back, so you said he played this year. He might, he’ll have an opportunity. — That’s
— what I’m talking about. But but but that’s it’s on, yeah, — that’s like we always say that’s on
— him. I, — I think Jalen Tyson’s gonna emerge as
— a I like Jalen Tyson. I like I like Jan Tyson, trust me, — I
— think
— the Cavs are not in a position right now to be. Develop to be trying to develop, they’re trying to win championship, so the goals have shifted here. So I mean Amani’s supposed to be in the G-League trying to develop his game and forcing the issue. To my knowledge he has not forced the issue to where man, we gotta, we gotta find a spot for this guy. Sam Merrill did. Sam Merrill forced the issue and forced them to create a spot for him. Do you think, do you think it’s a catch 22 a little bit when you say, when you think about body Manning base, you think of inefficient volume shooter, right? Do you think there’s a self-fulfilling process when you say, right, I’m in the G League? Do I wanna jack up 500 shots, or do I wanna show the team that I can play a role or I can pass the ball or I can work, yeah. And uh I, I don’t know, this is just me looking at numbers. If you’re going to be a guy who came out of college with the. Ark type of Amani get the ball score, and there’s not a lot else. That that was the thing on Amani coming out, right? That was it. He has a negative assist to turnover ratio in 2 years in the G-League each year. He’s got negative rating. Yeah, it got worse this year than last year. Mike, it’s not that like when he gets to the NBA, I don’t see a world where like off the bench and this doesn’t mean he can’t do it. I’m just saying right now with what we know. Like they’re not gonna run offense through Amani as opposed to running through Donovan and Darius. Like he has to accept this role — of being a
— I think he’s on the wrong team. I’ve, I’ve said that from the very beginning. I said his biggest misfortune was being drafted by the Cavaliers. If you put him in New Orleans, pick, pick any of the 10, New Orleans. What you get then is you’d see a player who probably averages 18 points a night. He can score, yeah, but, but yes, if you’re, you know, and that’s the problem. Some guys just like, just look at my points, man. Look at my points. Well, that’s great, but this is a team sport. It’s not an individual sport. It’s a team sport. How do you fit in with the team? And when I watched him in his first year, every time I watched him within 2 minutes of him being on the floor, he had shot 4 times and passed up great passes. He had great passing opportunity. He wasn’t even looking, boom every time. And we saw that he didn’t have an assist. There were times he would play meaningful minutes and he had 0 assists and 4 turnovers. — I ain’t looking for JR Smith to give me no
— assists. I know, but, but see, I don’t what Jason’s point is, you, you can’t come from the G-League and go to the NBA and expect that your game and your numbers are gonna elevate. I’m not sure about that. — And
— I know he has a skill set, but he misses too many shots for me. It’s not like he’s a bull’s-eye shooter. He’s not. Sam Merrill missed a whole lot of shots in the playoffs. Did you see that? I know he did, but Sam Merrill has a reputation of making a whole lot of shots in the regular season. I, we backed the regular season. I know we are, but here’s the thing. We, we, the, the, the folks that see him on a daily basis. That’s why I think it’s a little disingenuous of Shaq to, to, — because that was a hard
— call. How many times has Shaq Amani Bates play? — That’s what I wanted
— to ask, by the way, how many times the numbers, — by
— the way, Gilbert Arena says the same thing. Kenyon Martin Kenyon Martin says. What team is Gilbert Arenas running? I’m just saying I, I think they know what basketball look like. He can hoop. I don’t know. Yeah, I, I, I’ve never, there’s a difference. I tear up the playground. I’ve never had a scout, coach, or front office person from any team outside of Cleveland say why aren’t they giving Emani a chance? No one’s trying to trade for him. You know what I mean, like there’s just no buzz, and if there was something there that Shaq sees and that Gilbert Arena sees, somebody would be saying we gotta trade for this when they, the reason I went crazy though summer they because G was talking about him every day, and I was like, guys, he’s not even gonna play. That’s why I was losing my mind back then because it was clear he was never going and I said then, I’m never gonna put a ceiling on what a guy can or can’t do his rookie year. I’m just saying. He’s not going to play this year, so why are we spending all this time talking about him? So 2 years later I’ll say the same thing. I’m not gonna put a ceiling on what he can or cannot do, and now maybe he will have an opportunity to play. I just didn’t want to waste all this time talking about this guy for the last 2 years because there was no opportunity for him to play unless he really forced the issue and he never did that. So I look at it this way, like you said, he got an opportunity, uh, listen, you heard Shaq say you should be in the gym right now working on your game. And you should be ready to go. My thing is this, I’m watching all these other teams and what, what, what, what are the major contributing factors to why these other teams be going far and continue to go far in the playoffs is because they’re taking guys we haven’t heard like Nim hard and he’s good now. He wasn’t good overnight. They took time and say, you know what? I know we went to the Eastern Conference Finals, but we got Mather and we’re gonna place him a little bit. We, we, we got Naismith. We got Denmark. All these guys, the young dudes we never heard from, — but they do those three guys are lottery picks
— lottery, lottery is, is what, — top
— 1214. Naismith was 14th. — Main was 6 or
— 7 that’s pretty high in the draft, and guess what. We all know that, we all know the math. When you get anything past 5, they ain’t guarantee boys. The them listen, we got Isaac Cora at 5. He’s supposed to be cold then. We got Amani Bates was 2nd round, round. As much as I love talking about Amani, there is more important news I think we gotta get to. What is that? Yeah, uh, Darius Garland we’ll address this a little more in the show when we get some more information, but Garland got toe surgery 4 to 5 month rehab for, uh, the Cavs All-Star point guard. — So that
— 4 to 5 months, that’s November, yeah, so that really impacts any sort of trade talk. Yeah, nobody’s gonna take them now. Yeah, — I didn’t think he
— was tradable before. Say nobody’s gonna take him now, — but I mean
— we certainly said on this show, how is he tradable with a $40 million price tag? I, I mean, I would not have, I didn’t think they needed to trade him. I was more on the Jarrett, but yeah, I mean this is, this is a huge development 4 to 5 month rehab. 4 months puts you at October 1st 5 or 5 months puts you at November 9th, which is about a week into the season, 2 weeks into the season. So you still got, still gotta get in shape. still gotta ramp up, still gotta ramp up the minutes, still gotta rehab. You might have a setback here or there. It’s a toe injury. His, his one of his, one of his main skill sets is quickness, stop, start. To the basket. What was the surgery? What was it? Do we know? No details. Was it like Liz Frank or anything like that? No, I don’t think so, but I, I don’t know. They just Cavs release something within the last 10 minutes or — so
— because that seems like a lot of rehab for, for a toe. — does seem quite long
— and not Liz Frank. So does this, this change how they look at Ty Jerome because now they’re getting the point guard. Yeah, I mean, I think they, he was always a priority. They, he was who they’ve targeted they want to bring back. So I don’t think this changes from their end. I think they always wanted to bring him back — and we’ll see what kind of
— offers he gets. No, I didn’t know he’s gonna have surgery. It, it seemed a little strange back then because I thought it was like, oh, toe toe surgery might hurt a little bit. I didn’t expect him to miss that much time. And when he missed a little more time, — I started to think it’s a little more serious
— than I think, I think that’s right.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have a loaded top four, but if they want to make a real run in the East, it’s gonna take more than just Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley. One role player who could truly swing a playoff series? Max Strus. He’s got Finals experience, isn’t afraid of the moment, and when his three-ball is falling, it completely opens up the Cavs’ offense. Strus doesn’t need the ball to make an impact — he stretches defenses, crashes the boards, and plays with a level of toughness this team desperately needs in tight playoff moments.

Another name to keep an eye on is Isaac Okoro. His development as a 3-and-D wing has been quietly crucial for this team. If he can consistently knock down open shots and stay locked in defensively against elite perimeter scorers, he becomes the type of glue guy that can shift a series. Playoff basketball is about matchups, hustle, and momentum-shifting plays — and both Strus and Okoro have the potential to be X-factors when it counts.

  1. In my opinion, while Garland was hurt in the playoffs, either De’Andre Hunter or Jayson Tyson should’ve been the in the starting lineup at the 3 instead of Max Strus. At the 1, it should’ve been either Emoni Bates or Ty Jerome instead of Sam Merrill.

  2. Reality check….. ALL the Cavs looked like shit except Don… Evan when he’s aggressive and occasionally Max. Everyone else has shown they aren’t gonna get it done in the playoffs

  3. IF Garland and Allen are receptive to hitting the weight room and developing the same mental toughness as Mitchell, then I'm okay with giving them another year. If not, MOVE ON FROM THEM NOW. I still prefer trading at least one of them though. Also, why are Tyson and Bates on the bench and Wade/Okoro/Merrill in the rotation? Also RESIGN Jerome. It was his first taste of the playoffs. He will be better next year.

  4. Emoni was good gleague his rookie year and was recovering from injury this year. He is averaging 33% bc of the shots he takes in G and those aren’t the type of shots he will have to take in the NBA. He is also the youngest player on the team, Sam Merrill better had showed up he is about to be 30 🤷🏾‍♂️

  5. This team can't afford to be conservative. Why are we wasting time on proven bums when we have unproven youth just waiting on opportunity??

  6. It makes 0 sense to continue playing an undersized TT in Okoro. He has improved 0%. Jumper is garbage. Can't dribble. And he is NOT lock down defender. Move on!

  7. It's time for bates porter jr tyson and travers to get some run like these other teams have there young guys playing early got to play to get better

  8. Let moni play so wut his defense aint there put him in real pressure and develop thats hiw we get dwn in the hood fall dwn and get back up stronger i pray i dont see moni on another team i really hope he gets his chance here

  9. It kills me how y'all criticize Garland like he didn't have too many bad games this entire year it's funny how the season is over and y'all magnify his injury in game 2. Tell me a game he did so badly in? The only players that did bad was Allen and Ty. When Garland came back his toe is still messed up but he's play excellent all year it's kind of like the shedeur Sanders thing falling in the draft. Y'all create non-fictional drama. Show me where Darius lose besides the 3 free throws. It was number one in clutch closing in winning games the entire year. You're even looking at highlights of Max Strus making shots and because Garland is the one penetrating and dishing. I'm tired of the Darius Garland stuff. What happened was Jerome was a no-show and Jared was a no-show and they looked awful you got the toughest position held by the softest guy in the NBA (center) Then two looked awful so I guess it's Darius fault. Yall don't know how to separate your feelings from the reality!!! 🤦🏾‍♂️
