Seattle Mariners vs Arizona Diamondbacks (6-9-25) MLB Game Predictions, Picks and Best Bets

[Music] 917 918 we’ve got Emerson Hancock and the Mariners at plus 146 Mel Kelly Dbacks – 165 total of 9 and a half with some juice to the under at minus 120 kenny this was about to be a double result for me for the Dbacks the problem is that bullpin is has been garbage i know they’re getting a little better getting healthier but that bullpin not great what do we think on this one here i I considered Mel Kelly a sizzling six strikeout guy as well i got close on that uh what do we think here dbacks Mariners i’m gonna find this game oh here you go um God dude like I I’ve I’ve been team fade Mel Kelly for the bulk of the season but god I mean two of his last four starts have been actually know three three of his last five have been lights out seven innings one run eight Ks seven innings one hit no runs 11ks seven innings one hit no runs eight Ks like I I don’t know what is going on with with Mel Kelly right now look at the Mariners who strike out a good amount like what are they what are the what are the Mel Kelly Ks today i I didn’t even look at this the Mel Kelly Ks so let’s see how it’s moved cuz I spent some It was going to be Nick Paveta and Mel Kelly a sizzling six you know that was the plan and then I just got scared but uh I don’t disagree with you on the Mel Kelly strikeouts let me see what we can find i got to be and look I I think this six plus minus one 7 plus is plus 185 i think this dude kind of stinks but even the even even the Emerson Hancock strikeouts don’t look that bad it’s super juiced at 2 and a half but four plus 140 5 plus plus 320 i mean on the season he’s like you know he’s he’s he’s at three plus in every start except one and he’s at four plus I think in like five of eight i I I don’t know i don’t think I’m going to do it um if anything this game I mean Kettle Marte is like the hottest hitter in in all of baseball right now i mean he could do a whole lot worse but again I I’ve already got two more plays than I thought that I would have today i just I I didn’t like this slate to begin with so I’m going to stay away but like I’m just saying and Emerson Hancock 6Ks merryill Kelly 8ks at 40 to1 well I’m going to live ad Kelly 7ks i’m going to I’m going to live ad Mel let’s do a ladder god I’m going to lose all my Okay let’s do a live ad merryill Kelly 6ks Mel Kelly 7ks i think he at least gets to six and then let’s bump it up to seven let’s do a little ladder here i I took some time on it kenny made me feel better about it and now BDub’s going to bring it home tell me Mel Kelly gets to six strikeouts today what do you got i hope so i I like the first what I did for the uh game i I did a lot of this stuff on this game actually uh for the show i put out a first five second leg of the base winner parlay i also played a full game Arizona minus one and a half and then I have a prop Marte and Suarez to each get a hit uh and that pays about even money uh I don’t even know where to start there’s so many good numbers for the Diamondbacks to tell you one thing I’m going to start out though because I I think we haven’t talked about this on the show is uh Corbin Burns uh losing him to the I can hardly talk about it it it makes me stutter uh it it makes me so upset losing him uh for the rest of the year probably for about the first half of the next year how did you gain him as your next door buddy because he’s going to be it’s a good time for him to join the board actually if if you really want to know the truth but like you know he’s he’s a good guy and and you hate to see you hate to see that to a good pitcher where you have a lot of stuff on the futures too but you hate to see that to a good guy too it’s it it brings it brings up the the the thought about these guys because you know you think anybody would know how to how to take care of the health of a pitcher uh with the money that this Dodgers organization has and and they’ve got two Sai Young guys on on the shelf with with Snell and Glass now so I don’t know at some point where does the you know the the the the human arm limitation end and uh it’s unfortunate really for the Diamondback so they’re going to have to pick up uh wins in games like this and and Kenny’s right Kelly has looked really really good uh in fact over his last uh seven starts his his average strikeout percentage 29% against a 4.1 walk percentage uh and a 46.3 ground ball percentage so that’s 2.64 base winner erra you kind of look at season to date he’s got 13 starts and a really nice 3.53 base winner erra versus Hancock who has 10 starts and a 4.69 so you get about a little more than actually a point in the expected erra and then I think there’s some differences here in this lineup i you know Seattle’s lineup is certainly capable uh versus right-handed pitching uh I have them 16th it might be a little bit better than that depending on how you rate it but this Diamondback’s offense is still number two in baseball uh only a little bit behind the Dodgers from a run production standpoint you got to look top to bottom uh they’re solid top to bottom uh Suarez and and Marte in the lineup at the same time they’ve gotten a hit in seven of nine games versus right-handed starters so I think that even money for that’s really good i’ve got the the first five priced at like over minus 300 i think there’s a lot of signs here and I can continue i could go on uh probably for another half an hour but I know you guys don’t want me to uh because I always talk about how good the Diamondbacks are so it’s it’s it’s no surprise to anybody but but here I think the first five makes a lot of sense putting it in a parlay uh with really the Phillies it’s kind of a a base winner family parlay if you will Kyle it really is and and if you hit it it’s going to pay plus 175 there we go so for purposes of the show I’m going to live ad i’m going to do the ladder i’m going to take a chance take a chance on love here i’m going to do Mel Kelly 6 plusks at minus 107 i seen even money right around that area and seven plus we’ll do the latter to seven at plus 169 second leg of the base winner parlay we’ve got the Phillies first five
