First time watching this thing called baseball! Surely 9 runs is enough to win a game, right? Right?
How do you score 9 runs and lose??
This pitching staff is turning into exactly what we thought they were.
i don’t really like miles mikolas in any respect.
Well series lost. Rollercoaster month indeed

can’t be trying to outscore bad pitching all the time tho
This game was pure comedy. On a serious note tho, we are losing ground lately.
The offense is good. Miles Mikolas is not so good.
The giving up runs will continue until the god of karma is quenched with an Andre Granillo call up.
The batters have an insane amount of fight in them. That’s all I’ve got to say about this game. The lineup DOES NOT give up.
Nasty Lil skid. Feel like we wasted all our good mojo beating the Dodgers but we’ll pull out of this, team still has a ton of fight but we just ran out of innings tonight.
I very much enjoy winning games, I would say even more so than losing.
Pitching is regressing to the mean. Turns out giving up a bunch of contact without any swing and miss isn’t a good combo.
Well at least we had a fun May
10 of the last 11 pitchers have allowed a run in their appearances
dang, i really wanted that one dude to have to buy i mikolas jersey lol
Sucks that we keep scoring almost enough
Cardinals are digging themselves a hole.
The day this organization is freed from Mikolas and Roycroft will be a day to celebrate.
In better news. The Springfield cardinals lineup is awesome to watch.
Baez breakout may be legit. 2 Homer’s today. Davis homered as well.
Burly’s plate discipline is a joke, I don’t care if he has a good contact skill, mf swings at everything and doesn’t have enough power to justify it
Fuck the Bluejays fuck the Cubs fuck Mikolas fuck Roycroft fuck Helsley and honestly fuck leahy a little bit now too. I’m pissed, and if we don’t win the next like 4 games I’m gonna be even more pissed 🙂↔️ These games are torture
“Hmm it’s Mikolas in the rotation tonight and he’s gonna shit the bed, who should I put in tonight to make SURE that the bed stays shat? ROYCROFT” – Oli
Jfc such a talented lineup and a rock solid defense rendered completely null by three stooges
This one made me mad. Mikolas does everything in his power to kill rallies, and Roycroft’s inability to throw a ball cost us what should’ve been an amazing walk-off. I wish these two fat fucks would get the boot.
DFA Roycroft please and thanks — I’d much rather see Graceffo give up runs because at least he may have some kind of upside
We might have to find the real Lizard King to make a meal out of Mikolas.
we were one out away from a 3 run walk-off HR by willson.
🙁
Chris Roycroft should never pitch again for the Cardinals. He’s flat out awful.
Why are the Cardinals so against calling up Granillo? I realize he’s not on the 40 man, but we have like 3-4 players we could DFA and not lose much (Svanson, Vilarde, Koperniak, even Baker)
At some point we need to end this shufflling of crap pitchers (Roycroft, Svanson, Munoz) and try someone new
I blame most of it of the pitching for the loss.
Our pitching is what lost us the game tonight. No matter what way you spin it 9 runs should win you the game.
The last two nights are so frustrating because you can clearly see this team’s greatest strength (never being out of a game) but it’s proven to not be enough for the struggling bullpen right now. I love watching this lineup battle. They deserve better
Please just be a little bit better
God the pitching is such ass. They need a major bullpen/rotation re-tool.
I pray for the day I never hear “Gives up Runs for Miles” Mikolass
I knew the real Miles Mikolas was lurking.
We need pitching still
Cardinals are on some bullshit lately. 3 out of last 4 series lost. Starting to get annoying
does anyone else think they should’ve pinch hit for pages
Why Roycroft kept feeding them fastballs is beyond me. Gimenez was on the fastball before the one he laced for an RBI single. Gross pitch calling.
I used to get excited when Miles pitched, now when I see his name on the schedule I don’t even want to watch the game
