What The Detroit Pistons Need TO Win Game 4 Vs The New York Knicks
if the Pistons really want to make this a series they got to play like they played in game two in my opinion be locked in for a full 48 you can’t let the Knicks go on these you know 16 to three runs and try to just come up a uphill battle being downtown in the fourth quarter it’s really hard you got to play like excellent defense for a full 12 and when you’re going up against allars like that that can just score on anybody they’re really talented isolation scorers at the end of the day it’s going to be really tough to beat a New York Knicks team like that yeah i mean this is a game where their stars showed out 30 points for Brunson 20 for Bridges 31 for Towns 22 Aninoi and it doesn’t matter if the rest of your guys score 6 three two and four because you have those guys that can get it done for you and I mean if the Pistons really do want a chance to win I mean Tobias Harris has to play better on offense malik Beasley has to play better on offense and Tim Hardaway Jr started off really hot what he made his first six threes is that what it was something like that something crazy like that yeah and then he missed his he made one more but missed his next what like five six so I mean you’d really need the flamethrower that is Tim Hardaway Jr to keep going cage shot 10 for 25 so not a great shooting night for any of the guys and it was still a close game that so that’s that’s a thing where it’s it’s concerning because it’s kind of become a trend with Malik Beasley and um but it it’s also very it’s a positive point because it shows that we’re still close in these games and it’s just a few tweaks to getting past the hump right it’s like it was only a two-point loss and guys didn’t really have a good shooting night um if they had a regular shooting night Pistons might win this game uh who knows we’re not going to play whatifs but it was a competitive game you know outside of game one like game one I think if you look at the final score it was just them collapsing in the fourth and never recovering and I thought that was going to happen again in the third i was like “Oh crap here we go again.” Because like that was kind of a trend i don’t know how many games that you kind of watched towards the end of the regular season where like they really struggled to score the basketball there were multiple times this season where they went like five six minutes without scoring a basket and I kind of felt like nervous going into the playoffs that that was going to be like a a habit that they started developing and it’s not a habit that you want to uh keep getting into night in and night out yeah it it was tough because they weren’t getting in the fast break as much in a lot of those games and this game as well they did not they lost the fast break battle uh 13 to 12 I think that’s what it was but if like I said there’s all these things that they need to do to be able to beat the Knicks have to run in the fast break and you have to limit them to the half court because I mean going back to talking about the runs in that third quarter uh the things the things that really led to Detroit breaking that uh the streak from New York was forcing them to try to score in the half court i mean I think they made one of their first six in half court possessions and uh I guess one of their first six shots in the third quarter but one of the that one shot came um in the fast break so I I’m I’m really curious next game what we can do to kind of limit their uh transition basketball and to increase ours just getting out a little bit quicker more outlets i mean it seems simple but yeah they’re they’re such a hard team to try to stop in the fast break i think one thing you can do is make sure you’re not taking unless it you it the guy’s wide open taking just transition threes with the hand in your face and the log rebound comes out and then the running opportunities like there are plenty possessions tonight where uh you know Cade was doing that Malik was doing that and then you know Nick Knicks get the ball it’s a disadvantage for the Pistons trying to get back on transition defense and it’s just an easy basket there wasn’t too many transition opportunities for the Knicks but I mean when it comes to the playoffs every possession counts at the end of the day like every possession um can be anywhere from you have a five-point lead to it’s a six to 10 point swing if you have a couple bad possessions oh yeah of course [Music] ooh ooh uh-huh [Music]
Yesterday I was joined by Ledgie Sports in a postgame podcast with the New York Knicks; the topic of discussion was what the Detroit Pistons need to do to win game 4.

Pistons need to contain and not let Towns go off early. They have to see the tone early after tip off.
The only reason the pistons had a chance is because the Knicks bench isnโt giving them anything. If a player or two would have scored in double digits. The Knicks would have won by at least 10
Play Sasser, he can defend and easily our 2nd/3rd best shooter!!
Beef Stew, Temu, doodoo…Knicks in ๐๐พ
Cunningham, honey ham, hologram…Knicks in ๐๐พ
As a Knicks fan, I see Detroit as a scary matchup because they're tough. Knicks have trouble with teams that just flat out work.
7 from 12 from 3s is not a good shooting night?
It's nothing they can do it's the reason why Stewart is all of sudden hurt THEY dictate who they want to win NY is NY no way Pistons beat them everybody pretty much playing for nothing THEY showed who they chose to win the NBA title this year with Luka trade. Pay attention to injuries always key players
Pistons have to try and โuglyโ the game up. Pistons have to try and create more turnovers to get in the open court, get early opportunities not having to go against the Knicks half court defense
Hope yall do better next season
Knicks in 5
as a knicks fan. this is the worst team they could have played in the 1st rd. teams that hustle and are athletic give them issues. Detroit is a tough grind it out team
