Not at all. Never liked the gold lettering.
I miss what they represent more than the uniforms themselves.
Loved them for the year after the WS. They look good, but it’s a bad look pulling out gold trim for a dog shit team.

I miss salvy not being obese and blind
People don’t think we deserved to wear them after 2016 since teams only do the gold trim the year after winning the WS. However, I’ve never agreed with this take because gold is a part of our color scheme and I’ve always thought it should be a part of our kit before we won the series, so I would love the gold back in some way but it will never happen.
I miss beating the Yankees
I only liked the gold hat logo with the white outline, for some reason I couldn’t stand it being just plain gold

After 14, 15 – when they pulled those out to start 16 it was pretty badass.
I really like the powder blue shirt and pants. However yes I did like the gold trim. It was pretty nice after winning in 15.
Team has to earn them again before it makes sense to bust them out
Personally, these were some of my favorite uniforms. We don’t incorporate gold enough with our uniforms and it’s one of our actual colors. I mean, our name is literally the Royals, you should almost expect to see some gold trim.
What’s wild is KU baseball basically had these uniforms this year

We’ll probably never it on a consistent basis. We’re not the early 2000 or the 2010’s Cardinals. Unfortunately, we’re a team with fans that only show up when we’re in the World Series and I don’t see the Royals ever being a dynasty.
