Anton Lundell: Florida Panthers Hold Stanley Cup Final Practice Before Game 4 v Oilers
we talk as a group uh I’ve been talking to him as well but you know uh we all know how good he is uh you know he he’s a guy he can step in whenever whenever and be a difference maker so uh I know he knows how good he is and you know it’s important to to remember it’s uh it’s a long playoff and a lot can happen uh we have seen we have had a lot of guys step in step out of the lineup so every single one is super important uh for us in the in the whole team even if they’re not right now in lineup wayne Gretzky after game two said the ice here was going to be absolutely terrible didn’t look like the Edmonton ice was very good what What was the ice like in game three and was it better than whatever game Edmonford was to be honest I didn’t really pay attention on the ice uh I just go and play and it’s funny sometimes people ask how is the ice and I’m like I have no idea i just I just play so uh I I don’t even remember how the ice was last a couple nights ago tony obviously have a lot of highlights for you a lot of clips on social media after last game gets the game clock after the game just even for a guy that doesn’t play a ton of just what does he mean to this yeah I mean Gacho is a big part of our locker room uh he’s been a big big key for us the whole season you know we all know he’s uh not usually on the score score sheet but he he also uh has a great shot and he got can make some plays but you know he’s he’s known of his his hardness and and physical game so you know it’s very important to have him in the lineup how much does it help having to on staff i know you’ve been through this cup run with him he’s been on the staff for a while but how much has he helped you specifically he’s been helping me a lot uh all the coaches been great you know we obviously watch a lot of video we talk about the shift talk about the games uh but you know roots has been a big big help for us uh forwards and you know preparing us what’s coming and at the same time he’s able to give some good advices during the games and after games looks like he does a lot of work in practice on draws specifically how much knowledge does he have there and how much does he help the centers especially same thing same thing he he helps a lot uh he’s very smart in category and you know it’s uh it’s a big part you know you want to win the face off to be able to play with the puck and and he’s he’s been a good help so far in that after you lose a game like they lost last year and even as the winning team you guys also kind of have to have a fresh start here in game four yeah we know it’s going to be a way different game it’s going to be a new game uh we got to you know play play a great game to to be able to get a win but you know we expect it to be a hard game again and you know it start from zero to zero and you got to earn everything tomorrow
