Let pickard have his moment like he did in round 1 and 2. I feel like Florida has Stu figured out and they’ve gotten into his head
What do we think? Bet based on his record against the opposing team, or bet on his record playing on Thursdays? Head scratcher for sure
This means nothing in my opinion. I would put in Pickard
I’m not an oilers fan but I’m cheering for you guys in these finals. I would play Skinner, I don’t know why he takes all the blame he does but I think it may also be his own fans that get in his head, he doesn’t only get intense pressure from the opposing team.
Let him bounce back and it’ll look great for you for the rest of the series.
The VAN. Vs BOS. series draws a lot of parallels to this series, and I’d say you go Picks even though you have Mr. Game 4.
Luongo was lit up for 8 goals in Game 3 of the 2011 finals, and Alain kept him in for all 8 goals like a moron. Knobs had sense to give Skinner a break, and give Pickard some playtime after the Oilers played so shit.
Alain puts Luongo right back in for Game 4 and I think he let in 4 goals or something in a not so close loss. Knobs should again veer from this path and give Skinner a break to rest physically and mentally. Not to mention there is A LOT a goalie can learn watching the game from the bench that prepares them for their time to shine.
I say go Pickard in Game 4.
It doesn’t matter who’s in net if the Oilers give up that many breakaways/odd man rushes
“I’d play Pickard.”

Is there a stat for death threats per loss?
The truth is that Edmonton has to be better defensively. The amount of breakaways and odd man rushes they’ve given up isn’t going to cut it. If Edmonton keeps struggling defensively, then it’s not going to matter who’s in the net.
It doesn’t matter who’s in goal if the other 5 on the ice can’t play defense or even hold their temper. Beyond that though, they should give the start to Pickard. It could potentially throw off FLA. Not to mention how solid he’s been in the playoffs
What’s he like in net every other game?
I think stu stinks but you roll him out there tonight. Go with what got ya there
Cats in 6
I hate these stats. It’s not like you’re guaranteed to get these results because it’s a specific game in the series. If he was like 420-0 with a 0.69 GAA then I’d be more likely to believe it.
He’s not the problem but given his record when he comes back from the bench I’d go with Pickard and then back to Stu to close out the series.
