Tyrese gonna be a coach one day… Hopefully after a few titles
Such a good teammate man.
This team has the championship DNA
Chuck just fuckin saying anything
talk to them, tyrese
Lmao, shut down chuck scientifically
Perfect answer.
Tyrese went full Caitlin Cooper on Chuck.
Hali a real one. Such a breath of fresh air from a stars mentality
I think mathurin was hot and siakam wanted to defer to him so he didnt drive on some possessions he normally would, didn’t look that passive to me
Chuck my guy, you’re there yourself
You know Hali would be a great coach once he retires, from the way he talks about basketball.
High IQ answer, you gotta love it.
Haliburton is becoming a superstar before our eyes isn’t he. What a class act this dude
Pascal is the ultimate team player. He scores when the team needs it, he defers when the team needs it, he dives on the floor when the team needs it.
Trading for him was an amazing move by the Pacers because he just oozes championship basketball
I think Chuck’s mindset fundamentally misunderstands what makes the Pacers successful.
They spread the scoring and keep everyone engaged so they can target whatever the defense is giving them (post up, perimeter mismatch, help off a shooter, etc). You don’t want to force Hali OR Siakam to put up 5-10 more shots for the sake of “being aggressive”
It’s such an over used narrative at the moment, in the first quarter RJ and Dorris were criticizing Hali for not being aggressive after he missed his first shot when he really wasn’t doing anything wrong decision making wise he was just taking what the defense was giving him and missed a decent look it happens. No need to read that deep into everything.
That Candace eye roll lmao
Don’t underestimate how much of this pacers run has to do with having a star who truly understands the game, plays the right way and involves his teammates. That’s more important than box scores
Pacers just gonna continually have to say “we play as a team, not a buncha individuals”
Grant stuck the knife all the way in at end. My word 🤣🤣🤣
Great response from Hali.
I can understand Chuck’s question though, it just comes down to how Indiana plays. They trust the pass and don’t resort to iso ball often, every possession is different and less predictable as a result. So Siakam isn’t forced to run iso every play or be a dark hole on offense
Hali is the type of player media hates
Look at the Knicks. Having Brunson ball got them out. They are playing winning basketball getting it to the guy who has the best shot to score. One night it’s Siakam the other it’s someone else. Basketball is a team sport
Charles Barkleys been in one less finals appearance than Siakam.
Candace Parker needs to be the woman announcer/commentor that espn promotes. They don’t even know what they have. Even in this clip she knows exactly what is wrong with chucks thought process, but doesn’t interject and then you can see her being glad with halis answer. Love her
What Haliburton is talking about with the OKC mid post defense is why I thought we had zero chance going into this series. And then P comes out in this 1Q and hits like four tough jumpers against insane defense.
I love basketball man.
People going to harp on Chuck but I don’t think it was a bad question and it allowed Hali to give a detailed explanation and show his basketball knowledge. Chuck also didn’t seem bothered or offended by him saying he didn’t agree with his assessment.
Nothing wrong with this exchange imo.
Probably a valid question if Siakam was on every other team in the NBA except the Pacers. Most teams their Allstars dominate the ball and take most the shots. The Pacers however the ball finds the hot hand, many times thats Pascal other times its a teammate. This is why Pascal looks up and down, when in reality is just the Pacers playing team ball.

Chuck not noticing defense like 90% of nba fans
