what’s going on everyone chris from pickdogs.com here with your free pick in the Los Angeles Angels versus the Athletics Major League Baseball matchup going down to Wednesday June 11th 2025 just a reminder if you haven’t already make sure you’re subscribed to our channel and smash that thumbs up and if you’re looking for my best bets the games that I love head to pickdogs.com click the premium picks tab at the top of the page it’s a great time to do so cuz we have a lot of action lined up for the week ahead we got Major League Baseball on the board we got NBA and NHL playoff action as well as WNBA action too so make sure that you jump on board remember to use the promo code pick at checkout and get 15% off your purchase we’re also on the hunt for 250,000 subscribers here on our YouTube channel i appreciate each and every one of you that’s helped us get to where we are today but if you haven’t already hit that subscribe button by now please do so it’ll help us reach that milestone and we’ve also got products for those who make big bets and for those with big bank rolls those looking for more of a VIP experience where you’re going to get things like late alert plays closer to game time where we’re going to track line movement for you try to get you the best possible number compared to the closing line so if that sounds like something that you’re interested in text the number on the screen for more information and let’s find out if it’s right for you but let’s get to this one between the Los Angeles Angels and the Athletics the Los Angeles Angels sending out Kyle Hendricks for the start in this one while the Athletics will counter with JP Sears and uh Sears you know in his last start five innings gave up four runs a pair of home runs it was it wasn’t a bounceback start necessarily but it was decent enough for the Athletics to get the win and back him up and um you know in a 54 victory as Sears did himself end up with the win and it was once again the Athletics bullpen that let things get a little bit dicey and let things get a little bit closer than it probably needed to be in that game but you know give the Athletics credit they were able to hold it down in the end and do enough to get the win there now they face an Angels team that you know historically has been a thorn in their side i mean entering Tuesday the the Angels had won the first five meetings of the season against the uh the Athletics and a lot of those meetings were at the very beginning of that recent slump that the athletics endured at the back end of May and into the early part of June so you know the Athletics were I think simply catching being caught by the Angels just at the right time and now you know if you’re the Angels you got to worry because you know the Athletics have started to win some games and now you’ve put Kyle Hendricks on the mound and Hendrickx for me just has not been a consistent option or not at least not a very viable option at the major league level in my opinion and you know the uh you know the athletics are still a team that’s still top five in baseball in the last two weeks against right-handed pitching in batting average they’re hitting .271 the team OPS numbers are top 10 the isolated power numbers are top 10 hell even the Babist is second best in baseball the problem for the athletics this whole time has been the bullpen and you know you’re facing a lineup out that’s in the last two weeks decent against left-handed pitching they’re hit but they’re hitting only 206 you know I’m just saying the Babiff is still decent but the team OPS numbers are bottom five in baseball and they have a 34.8% strikeout rate so this is you know a spot where I just think that the Athletics have a serious edge in starting pitching and if Sears can just ride that out through the first five I think that this could be a spot for the Athletics to win this game in the first five innings before turning it over to the bullpen and then at that point for me all bets are off because like I said this this athletics bullpen has been very untrustworthy they have been getting better over the last little bit they’re still in bottom five in baseball in the uh in staff RA out of the pen in the last week with a 5.31 erra and the Angels still have a sub3 bullpen RA over that time frame but I still think in the end I think the uh the Athletics at least win the first five here behind JP Sears so I’m going to go with the Athletics in the first five and that’s going to be my free pick but just a reminder if you haven’t already make sure you’re subscribed to our channel and smash that thumbs up and if you’re looking for my best bets you can find those at Pick Dogs Premium while you’re pick dogs check out our betting tools they’re 100% free they’re the best betting tools in the business and tools that you want to make sure that you have in your back pocket when you’re making your best bets for the day’s action thanks for watching see you guys soon
