😳Trey Amos is CB1! | MORE WSH June OTAs Practice Clips & Analysis! JCM is Fastest Player! Lane = PR1
i was saying your boy Rico from Street Scores and I have a few more clips that have come out the past couple of days since we had that open practice we have several clips of Jaden Daniels not only throwing a pass but also catching one as well trey Amos is apparently already cornerback one with Latimore not at practice yet we have a lot of things to discuss man we have Jakori Kroski Merritt being the quickest player on the team during a drill joint practices have been confirmed with two teams we’re going to dive into all of that and more but of course I have a trivia question for you on this date in 1935 now granted this was June 6th i’m sorry I haven’t done a video in a minute but I wanted to make sure I got y’all this trivia question cuz this was a good one so on June 6th in 1935 Bobby Mitchell was born in Hot Springs Arkansas the Pro Football Hall of Fame running back and flanker who died at 84 in 2020 played seven seasons in the nation’s capital after Washington acquired him from what team via a trade in 1962 elite Ball knowledge if you know this one I’ll give you the answer at the end of the video i did not know this at all so shouts out to y’all that do give y’all the answer at the end of the video but before we get into everything make sure you step on that like button step on the subscription button and stick on the bell next to that subscription button so you get notification each and every time I release an informative and a P& video just like this one make sure you stay tuned to all of the content really appreciate y’all for supporting every video and let’s go ahead and dive into this right now man I know I’ve been super busy but I’m I mean I cannot wait to finally get some time when things settle down on my end things settle down on the football end you know Terry gets signed and all of that and I can just focus on catching up on a lot of the video ideas that I already have ready for y’all most notably the Kinlaw video that everybody’s on my head about but let’s go and dive into this video right now man let’s get it adam Adam [Music] all right so joint practices confirmed dan Quinn confirmed while talking to the media back on June 4th that the Commanders will hold joint practices with the Patriots and the Ravens in conjunction with their preseason games that how that’s how that works this is our preseason schedule that you see on the screen right now we play the Patriots on the 8th that’s in New England we play the Bengals Monday Night Football let just another prime time game huh monday night at 8:00 p.m but this one’s in Landover Maryland and we play the Ravens in Landover Maryland as well even though that one doesn’t necessarily matter that much but that will determine where the joint practice will take place it’ll happen in Virginia rather than happening in Baltimore but I mean that’s crazy we have a 10day difference from our first preseason game to the second one and then only a fiveday difference half from the second to the third that’s really weird but by the way your joint practices go along with your preseason games because we play the Patriots Bengals and Ravens those are the only three teams that we could have joint practices with this off season that’s why we didn’t have a joint practice with the Ravens last year we had one with them in 2023 we did not in 2024 because we did not have the Ravens on our preseason schedule because we played them in the regular season if you played a team in the regular season you cannot play them in the preseason if you do not have a team on your preseason you can’t have a joint practice with them during training camp so now it’s been confirmed that we will have joint practices with the Patriots and the Ravens we still haven’t necessarily ruled out definitively that we’re not going to have one with the Cincinnati Bengals but I have heard nothing of it so we will have a joint practice with the Patriots before our first preseason game and the Ravens before our third preseason game and then shouts out to Ben Standig because he brings up a good point the Baltimore one is presumably only going to be one day washington’s four fields now make hosting a joint practice feasible so those are two great points first of all again that 5-day difference going from the Bengals preseason game to the Ravens we don’t have much time at all so thank goodness we can even squeeze in one day so that’s cool and then also the second point that he brought up about us having four fields now remember last year they finally got rid of that field that Dan Snder was just letting it letting just sit there rot away no use out of it for like the past over 20 years and all it would have taken it was just to put some money towards it he just refused to josh Harrison company came here and within their first offseason made sure they handled that field so now we have a bunch of fields to work with and now joint practice makes a lot of sense in Virginia where we do everything all of our practices OTAAS mentor mini camps training camp now we can actually host a re actually an efficient joint practice there also just to remind you the last time we had a joint practice with the Ravens was in 2023 and we did have a few scuffles there man including the one where Mark Andrews bodys slam Danny Johnson so who knows if Sparks may fly in that upcoming joint practice as well i highly doubt we have any bad blood with the Patriots of course people are going to be comparing Jaden Daniels to Drake May the entire time and then when we have the joint practice with the Ravens people are going to compare Jada Daniels to Lamar Jackson of course but I don’t know i don’t think we’ll have too much bad blood i mean first of all when we had that 2023 joint practice with the Ravens and Temper started flying and people weren’t really getting it under control as much as I expected that was pre- Dan Quinn and the culture that he set with having guys like Bobby Wagner and and all of these leaders Frankie Luvu Jaden Daniels even and even just all of the different coaches that we have are leaders like Anthony Lynn again I I know I keep saying this but he’s your running game coordinator your running back’s coach he’s an ex head coach not just offensive coordinator defensive coordinator head coach we have offensive coordinators defensive coordinators and head coaches all up and down this roster in lesser roles so we have a bunch of leaders all throughout this thing we don’t just have a bunch of We have a couple of upandcomers you know like it looks like our quarterback room is filled with a whole bunch of the next Shawn McVeys and Tvita Pritchard and David Blau and those guys but a lot of the rest of the coaching staff is just filled with a bunch of proven leaders and I just don’t see things getting really out of hand like maybe Temples will fly a little bit but I’m pretty sure they’re going to nip things in the bud immediately and even just beyond the coaches again we have a lot of on the- field leaders as well i don’t think things will go too far now let’s dive into more practice clips cuz again some more practice clips were uploaded to Twitter and all over the internet since the last time I gave y’all a video of what happened during the practice like the day it happened you know immediately after we had the practice I gave y’all some clips naturally people got home later on that night uploaded some clips uploaded them throughout the rest you know the next couple of days we even have some interviews that were just uploaded by Natalie Spala literally just two days ago like a couple of days after the practice you want to stay tuned cuz I’m going to give y’all those at the end of the video i’m not going to like literally give you the entire interviews cuz I want you to go ahead and check out her content on her page and things like that but I think you want to stay around for some of those quotes but my point is lot more stuff a lot more footage that came out since the last time I showed y’all what happened in that practice starting with Jaden Daniels here’s some more Jaden Daniels throws right here and this is a nice deep ball right here to number 89 i don’t know why he bobbled it like that but either way good deep ball there more deep balls from Jaden Daniels that one looks like it was to Yonkoff probably the next play and I mean that boy got a laser on him man so I’m really happy can’t wait to see what it looks like once we if he does play in the preseason it’s probably only going to be maybe game two if that but I highly doubt game one and definitely not game three definitely not so maybe the next time we’ll really get to see him not even necessarily go all out but you know really try at least a little bit maybe preseason maybe you know some of the access that we’ll get throughout training camp maybe he’ll be taking things seriously there especially if our defense is way better than it was last year maybe we’ll see some greatness from him then as well speaking of greatness you have this clip right here of him throwing the ball to Debo Samuel and it’s not the most complicated route it’s not the I mean I I’m assuming that as we by the time we get to the regular season this route will have a little bit more time into it so that the ball is already there before Debo Samuel fully stops but either way I’m just happy to see Jaden Dames and Debo Samuel working on their chemistry you know I mean it’s not as simple as just a quarterback throwing a ball to a receiver you know what I’m saying they got to kind of he has to get used to the velocity that Jada Davos throws the ball with and all kinds of stuff man so the more time that they’re working together the better you prefer guys like Terry Laramie Tonsel Latimore to be at practice but I love the fact that Debo Samuels there that is huge for us man continue to work on that chemistry and speaking of Debo Samuel here’s a few more Debo Samuel plays and I’m liking how well he’s been tracking the ball in a lot of the clips that I’ve been showing y’all the past few days he’s been doing really well with tracking the ball over his shoulder his hands look really sure right now catching the ball with his hands it’s not bobbling once it gets there it looks like he has a magnet in the ball in his hand so I’m liking what I’m seeing man i’m telling you Debo Samuel bounceback season i’m not saying he’s going to look like 2021 but I’m think I’m definitely telling you he’s going to be better than what he was in 2024 maybe somewhere right in the middle and then also you had this clip right here of Debo Samuel working in special teams drills so wait a minute are we potentially getting some Debo Samuel special teams i highly doubt it because we have a lot of talent in the special teams room and things like that but it’s interesting that they’re trying them back there and first of all the drill itself is really interesting cuz you have all three guys together they all split up in three different places then you have the two tacklers coming to meet him and of course there’s no contact so they can’t actually really attempt to tackle him and he kind of has to make somebody both of them miss in a phone booth really looks like one of those random drills you do in Madden but either way Debo Samuel potentially as a returner candidate you know competing i think Jayla Lane’s going to end up winning the job and if it were up to me our starting kick returners would be Jaylen Lane and Jaka Crosky Merritt especially now with the new kick return rules that we’ve been dealing with and they keep enhancing and adding more you know extra layers to it for the past couple of years it’s very running back friendly you know previously with the kickoff rules we had since forever it was more wide receiver friendly now like vision and and jump cuts and things like it’s almost like a big offensive line in front of you like from sideline to sideline a big offensive line you got to find the right holes to go through very running back friendly and I think Jakori Crosky could kill that so I think he and and Jaylen Lane should be our starting kick returners jaylen Lane should be a starting punt returner but I like the fact that Debo Samuel is at the very least putting in work in some of these drills right here to potentially at least compete for the job maybe he wants to do it you know what I’m saying maybe he’s like “Hey whatever I got to do to get this next contract after this season ends I’ll do And then speaking of doing what you got to do to get a big contract Jakory Brooks the undrafted free agent that I mean he’s somewhat of a long shot to make the Final Fant roster whenever you’re an undrafted free agent it’s not very likely that you’re going to make the roster but I mean he’s catching passes from Jaden Daniels in practice and it’s not every time you know it’s not guaranteed that an undrafted free agent wide receiver is going to catch passes from the starting quarterback the franchise quarterback the elite quarterback in practice typically you know there’s a certain level of depth chart you got to be to even practice with the starting quarterback so I don’t know if this is just a commander strategy to make sure Jayden Daniels gets passes thrown to every single wide receiver who’s even at least a little bit of a wide receiver on the roster or if Jacy Brooks has been making enough plays and what they’ve seen so far in practice is to where okay let’s start to put him out there with the bigger guys you know somewhat with the starters and see what he can do i Hey wouldn’t be surprised like I’ve already said wide receiver room wise we have Terry as a lock you have Jayla Lane you have Debo Samuel you have Luke McCaffrey and Noah Brown those are five if we only keep six which is quite likely I believe we only kept six last year that means you have Michael Gallop who a lot of people feel like he’s a lock i don’t think he’s a lock i’m rooting for him but and he is a 10,000 yard receiver which is not very common on this roster at all i I think it’s only him Terry and Debo as far as thousand yard receivers on this entire team right now but I wouldn’t say he’s necessarily a lock to make the roster he’s competing with KJ Osborne who a couple years ago for the Vikings was one of the best wide receiver twos in the entire NFL and then you also have Jakory Brooks right here who literally got Tyler Shuck drafted in the second round by the Saints like Tyler that quarterback they they got drafted before Shadur somehow i mean it was a lot it was quite a few quarterbacks that got drafted by before Shadur that had no business getting drafted before Shadur but Tyler Chuck in the show however you pronounce his name in the second round was insane and Jakory Brooks deserves a lot of the credit for that without him I highly doubt that quarterback gets drafted to high he is the reason that quarterback got drafted the highs i I think a do not sleep on Jaory Brooks winning that sixth spot over Michael Gallup and um KJ Osborne we’ll see though it’s a long way to go but do not be surprised now going back to Jaden Daniels I mean the ability to just sidearm something like this is insane as and as you can notice he’s running to the left like the drill has it to where he like pretends to hand the ball off to the running back well he does actually hand it off to the running back then somebody else throws him the ball so he can work on handing the ball off to the running back but at the same time still have a ball to throw so he hands it off to the running back then he’s And then you know typically of course if they’re moving to the right it’s easy he’s right-handed but on this particular clip right here in this part of the practice they’re running to the left you know you you got to think do I stop and and you set reset my whole fee feet in my base to make sure I can throw an accurate throw or do I just am I just another Pat Mahomes and I’m able just to just sidearm it real quick like a baseball player and it’s just an accurate throw so Jayden Daniels is insane i mean it’s a lot of you know Tom Brady in there as far as the nuance and awareness and IQ and stuff like that and then there’s also just the natural talent even beyond the legs the the arm talent is insane to be able to just sidearm that there’s not a lot of quarterbacks in the NFL that could do that man and he’s just doing stuff like that just chilling in practice so don’t make him have to bring that out in the game if he has to you know what I’m saying don’t corner him like that opposing defenses cuz he’ll do it if he has to then also speaking of Jada Daniels having to do something if he has to back against the wall jayden Daniels out here catching passes and when I first saw this clip I had no idea who was going to be at the back end catching it i think this is Marcus Mariota throwing a deep bomb and then I’m just looking at the ball in slow motion in the air i’m like okay who’s about to catch that all of a sudden I see a number five with the black hoodie coming out the jersey i was like what is going on he caught that really easily too but you know Jada Dales elite athlete man i mean I’m pretty sure we’re never going to really ask him to do that unless we do the Philly special but even then I doubt it um but hey just the fact that Jada Dams can even just do that like how many quarterbacks in the NFL can do that and then also moving on look at this and we’re gonna talk about him extensively later on in this video but look at Trey Amos having great coverage against Debo Samuel now I’m assuming with Debo Samuel being thrown the ball that that is Jaden Daniels throwing that ball so that’s potentially Jaden Daniels and Debo Samuel being locked up on now I’m not saying he locked them up all practice or anything like that but on this particular play this example that we’re seeing he locked up Jada Dames and Debo Samuel whatever chemistry that they’ve been working on Trey Aman say “Hey nah get that up out of here y’all need to do better than that.” Which I love cuz that means that Jada DS and Debo Samuel have to take their game to another level and I like the fact that a second round rookie is pushing them to that point i mean it’s so clean too there’s no prior contact that you could even potentially flag it looks like he made a play on the ball so perfectly broke on it saw it coming i mean just elite coverage right there by Trey Amos man again we’re going to talk about him extensively later and then now if you look up we have Josh Connelly going through some offensive line drills which are pretty interesting too they threw like a ball at him and everything they have other offensive linemen involved they also have like a couple of coaches as well but this is a really interesting drill really random not ex I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a drill like this before it like specifically just like that in that exact order of the things that he’s doing but I love just seeing Josh Connelly work man he somebody that big shouldn’t be able to move that well with footwork that easy hips that easy change of direction his jump step outwards i mean remember he has the Josh Connelly challenge and everything like that he also was asked about that we’re going to talk about that later in the video as well he was asked about his Josh Connelly challenge and all of that type of stuff but man just any clips I can get of Josh Connelly our first round pick I’m happy then you also have Brandon Coleman and Tyler Biottish working right here and mind you Tyler Bottes is the center which means if Brandon Coleman is directly to the left of him that means he’s the left guard i already showed y’all clips a couple of days ago from this practice and I and I I broke it all down that we saw that Brandon Coleman was the left guard with Trent Scott to his left since Laramie Tonsel isn’t at practice trent Scott I guess was a starting left tackle out there brandon Coleman was a starting to left guard in all of the clips that I saw all of them he was going through guard drills and whenever he had any offensive lineman around him he was always the left guard and the same thing here but instead of going from the outside in this time we’re working from the inside out with Tyler Bottis is the indication is the Brandon Coleman to the left of him he’s the left guard naturally now moving on we also have some clips of people working extra hard even after practice is over starting with Frankie Louvu right here man I’m not sure if this is literally immediately after practice is over but he’s definitely by himself to the point that I think a lot of people are already gone or people are stretching or whatever it looks like a lot of people are not doing whatever he’s doing and he just decided hey man while everybody else is doing whatever they are whatever doing whatever stretching chilling done with practice Frankie Louvo is still putting in extra work to get his pass rushing drills solidified and again like I pointed out in my video a couple of days ago showing you practice clips like this clip right here he’s been working with Ryan Carrian personally one- on-one working on his pass rushing drills the reason that this is significant is because Frankie Luvu typically especially last year has rushed up the middle he’s rushing up the A gaps or the B gaps in between the tackles it looks like he’s working on potentially moving to full-blown outside edge rusher linebacker so yeah we didn’t go trade for Trey Hendrickson yeah we didn’t draft Donovan Raku or Mike Green or any of those elite edge rushers that we wanted in the draft it sounds like Frankie Louvu may be that guy that you know maybe he’ll play a little less offball linebacker with Jordan McGee healthy maybe your two linebacker packages will mostly include Bobby Wagner and Jordan McGee which will free up Frankie Louvu to go after the quarterback but from the outside which is a completely different way to rush the passer typically he’s he’s perfectly timing the exact time to like to go right up the gap and and catch a offensive lineman off guard when you’re rushing off of the edge you’re not catching an offensive lineman off guard they know you’re coming every time and you need to develop a real pass rush bag you need to have some real nuance and technique to your game to be able to get past them from the outside rather than just being a random blitz and linebacker so I think that’s why he’s putting in all of this extra work because even though he had like what eight sacks last year that doesn’t necessarily automatically mean that’s going to translate very easily to for him moving to the outside so I love the fact that first of all he’s moving to the outside i also love even more that he’s putting in this much work to get better at doing it as well and then also as you can see in this clip this is wide receiver Debo Samuel and cornerback Mike Sandra still working well after practice was over and I love this man this is a super iron sharp as iron situation i mean the fact that they’re putting in this much work after practice is over and from what I’m hearing is that Mike Sandra still basically asked him “Okay you know you’re a veteran receiver you’ve seen it all you’ve done it all help me learn how to like deal with certain release packages that you may throw that any receiver may throw at me.” You know I had a great year last year i had two interceptions against the Detroit Lions just alone in that playoff game that we won and those are some re those were two really impressive interceptions i think he’s only going to get better and better and the fact that he had that year that he had last year and he’s still putting in this much extra work after practice not even just training camp these are voluntary OTAAS this is all voluntary and then doing stuff like this after practice is extremely voluntary i mean you have half of the Ravens roster like Lamar Jackson Kyle Hamilton and those guys not even showing up to practice at all right now yeah Mike Sandra still asking Debo Samuel “Hey can you stay after practice with me just to you know help me with a few more things as far as coverages go and dealing with certain release packages and things like that?” I love that and then the fact first of all Mike Sam still not be too nervous or not be too cool to ask Debo Samuel for that type of help and then for Debo Samuel to actually say yes i just I love that whole thing shouts out to George Carman he said this is cool on both ends sanil gets some veteran insight and Debo is showing that he’s connecting with the team samuel has been putting in work this off season i mean that that leadership from Debo Samuel again back when we had the the the OTAAS like last week I think it was like phase two where he was leading all the receivers in in all of the wide receiver drills he was the first one doing every drill showing everybody setting an example this is how you do each drill you need to do this drill like this i’m going to be the first one to do it so y’all see and know exactly how it needs to be done and then for him to stay after with Mike Sarah still like this like he’s completely taking over and embracing the leadership role it’s amazing man then shouts out to Jay Daniels MVP he said this is what brotherhood is about dan Quinn has completely transformed the culture around in Washington and you love to see it but at the same time Dan Quint actually credits the players with the environment that we have right now shouts out to Sam Forier he has an entire article on the Washington Post about it he said Dan Quinn had a lot of thoughts on the environment that the players have created together as well and made an interesting comparison to the NBA in his comparison coach Dan Quinn gushed about the environment that the players have created together he said quote “We all know to be at our best is going to take a lot of us improving if that’s Mike asking Debo a certain technique or vice versa that’s really where it takes place.” And so we take these times on the field seriously cuz it’s not just the scheme it’s the individual skill work as well quote and that’s a great point the coaches can coach up whatever they could be the smartest coaches in the entire NFL but if the players aren’t working on their individual bags and skill sets and nuance it’s not going to matter man it’s only But so much strategy can only take you so far there’s a massive difference Quinn pointed out between knowing what to do and having the minute details ingrained in the muscle memory dan Quinn said quote “Be very specific.” I think that’s where the gold is that’s why I think the teaching this time of year has to shine on the coaches and we’ve got some excellent ones because they’ll get very specific on certain techniques let’s try that one again let’s put the hand into this space you’re not in a rush to get to the next play like you are during the season if they have to do it four or five times that’s okay.” Unquote and that’s why voluntary workouts matter because they don’t feel like they’re like on a strict timeline and like a certain you know like when we’re in the season we’re practicing yo we got to get this game plan in it’s not about you just specifically getting better and improving on your own it’s about how do we beat this team that we have to play in a few days whereas in the offseason you can solely focus on you specifically and make sure okay I’m good if I got to do it eight times in a row I got it down you just don’t really have the time to do that type of stuff in the regular season so I love the fact that even though we have a few guys not there majority of guys are there and that’s nice and then Sam for also said “We can learn something real about the Commanders from one post the practice workout between wide receiver Debo Samuel and Mike Sanill.” He said the moment was a metaphor the team is Sanil a young upstart with lots of promise and it wants to be Samuel a proven winner and consistent presence in biggest playoff games their work together to steal the purpose of this space in the NFL calendar between the roster building flurry of the spring and the training camp battles of the summer these offseason workouts which will end next week with mandatory mini camp again June 10th through 12th are for experimentation relationship building and skill development and I love the fact that guys like Frankie Lvu Mike Santostone and Debo Samuel are staying well after practice to get even more time in they were never asked to do that they did that on their own now moving on also have some practice notes and updates from people that went to the practice and noticed a few really interesting things first of all shouts out to Seaw Wall Sports over there she said “As the board at Commander OTAAS I’m seeing more speed this year compared to last year much faster off the line of scrimmage in the drills etc the coaches have talked about this being a point of emphasis and it shows love to hear that so this team is faster both offensively and defensively that’s amazing and probably even special teams as well with you adding Jaylen Lane is in there i’m loving it man i love to hear that our team is getting faster if I had to ask for one trait specifically that we could improve on as an entire team I probably would have picked speed so that’s music to my ears and also love the fact that yeah the coaches have talked about that all off seasonason they talked about that even before the draft for free agency we got to get faster it sounds like they accomplished that so that’s another layer of this that I really love that the coaches had a goal in mind going into this offseason after that NFC championship loss to the Eagles and then they win and achieved it that’s what it seems like we got to see it in actual games i mean I guess we’ll get our first taste of it in training camp then preseason then we’ll finally get to the regular season and see where we really are but we also have the joint practice to kind of use as a measuring stick as well are we actually a faster team reporters that were there sound like they they feel like we are and then Seaw Sports also said “Defensive in Cleveland Ferrell has caught my attention a few times coming off the edge at OTAAS.” That’s interesting because even when we signed him for the first time last off season I wasn’t very impressed i was like Clean Ferrell and then he went out there in 2024 and kind of had the eh Cleveland Ferrell type of season you know what I’m saying it was pretty much what I expected fairly injury-prone not very dynamic when he’s there just all right not bad but not great either so it’s interesting to hear that Cleveland Ferrell maybe something has finally clicked going into whatever season this is for him which is like the sixth seventh eighth season maybe something’s there we’ll see and then Seaw Wall Sports she also said “I spent some time watching the offensive line.” You may have already seen my colleague share footage and information on Twitter on who was lined up where something to track as time goes on but she said “My opinion ensuring players can be effective in multiple spots is smart strategic we’ll be interested to see how unfolds over the season and I I know she’s trying to like not not jump to conclusions but I’m telling y’all right now Brandon Cobin’s just starting left guard and even though technically the way Dan Quinn loves competition Josh Connelly even though he was drafted in the first round they’re making him earn it just like JD Daniels had to earn the starting quarterback role drafted second overall so we shouldn’t be shocked with the fact that Josh Connelly has technically been the second string right tackle to Andrew Wy being the starting right tackle so far pretty sure that’s going to change very soon especially by the time we get early in the training camps but either way technically right now Josh Connelly is your backup tackle but he will be your starting right tackle brandon Coleman starting left guard Josh Connley starting right tackle like I predicted months ago when I already told y’all in some of my mock drafts i was like do not be surprised if the Commanders go Josh Connelly in the first round and I already broke it to y’all why Brandon Coleman would be better at guard and put Josh Connelly at right tackle and here we are and then she also said “I want to clarify something about my earlier post from like a previous day about Commander’s wide receiver Noah Brown i mentioned it’s great to see him back out there with the team i brought him up because he looks like he was never injured fantastic stuff.” So you know at first when I saw her tweet I was thinking okay maybe Noah Brown is standing out and maybe he’s going to be better even better in 2025 than he was in 2024 he was already pretty good then remember he led the NFL in pass interferences forced on defensive backs before he got hurt for the rest of the season um but she’s saying that it looks like he was never injured which is also great news i mean he suffered a serious injury one of the ones where it’s like I mean will you ever even be the same again and the fact that he looks like apparently like he never got hurt before that’s insane news this wide receiver depth is going to be elite man and then also as you can see in this picture you have Jaden Daniels hanging around Jaka Crosky Merritt and I love that man i’ve been seeing random clips and things of both of them together amen jcm RB1 sooner rather than later we’ll see well apparently Jaory Crosky Meritt from a lot of different reporters said that he looked like arguably the fastest player out of the entire commander team during one of the OTAA speed drills like whenever they did something that involved quickness explosion and speed JCM was arguably the best at it out of the entire at least offense shouts out to Dean Jones of Rigles rack he said this one commander rookie nobody saw coming is outshining vets at OTAAS i don’t Well I wouldn’t say nobody cuz I’ve been rooting for JaKoRi since we got to day two of the draft i was like “Hey man if you got to take him in the fourth round it might have to be that.” I thought it was insane that we got him in the seventh round that was one of my favorite picks of the entire draft but continuing what he said in Rigo’s rag he said he pointed out the fact that John K from ESPN had highlighted cross speed and explosiveness is something that stood out from the rest so far in OTAA’s practices he’s a one cut slasher with the ability to turn the smallest creases into lofty yards on the ground looking at the regression of Washington’s rushing attack last season albeit with some offensive line deficiency attached I think that you know it’s a little bit of both this could provide some injection of pace that was sorely lacking which is the reason I was screaming for us to get this guy he’s our only home run threat on roster right now out of the running back group his elite explosion agility speed i already gave y’all the ridiculous stats as the He’s one of the most agile and best change of direction running backs to come out of the draft in years not just this draft that even includes Aston Jenty and Amarian Hampton and Trayvon Henderson in years like since the Senior Bowl has been tracking a certain stat since like 20 what 18 or something like that he was like the quickest at deceleration or something insane stuff um y’all can go check out my JCM full breakdown i gave you ridiculous advanced stats out he had the best success rate per carry out of any running back in the entire class too when it when it came against stacked boxes so you can stack the box all you want jcm’s still going to find a way to get positive yards out of it but going back to Dean Jones he said Crosky Merritt is looking to make up for some of the lost time after having his eligibility revoked by the NCAA just one game into his transfer to Arizona and again I’m telling you right now his previous team snitched cuz he was on I think what was it new Mexico or something like that transferred to Arizona when he got to Arizona guess who the first game of the season was against his former team that he’s just transferred from he bowled out against them immediately after that suddenly the NCAA is like “Wait a minute you’re not ellegible.” So his previous team that he transferred from and then that he put a whooping up on in week one was like “Nah we got to shut this down.” That’s extremely petty y’all crazy for snitching like that but either way he’s got a big chip on his shoulder and isn’t here just to make up the numbers that should put everybody else on notice the Commanders will take things slowly with Crossky Merritt he missed a lot of football last season so moving cautiously is a smart ploy from the offensive coaching staff but don’t be surprised the backfield force builds on his positive early momentum to force his way into the team’s plans quicker than anticipated which is money to music to my ears man the quicker we get Jakori Krosky Merritt involved in the offense the better our offense will be and and then even beyond that the quicker he becomes our RB1 the guy that’s on the field more often the better our offense will be as well i like Brian Robinson i like Austin Neckler but Jakory just has a way higher ceiling and way more potential than those guys the agility the speed the explosion especially just the home run speed alone I’m telling you and then the hands I mean I I watched his tape he has like a play where he makes a contested catch and not only is is there contact while he’s catching it he’s getting like obliterated by like two defensive backs that kind of he’s like in the middle getting met by both of them and he’s somehow still like toe taps in the back of the end zone like that’s an elite play for a wide receiver that’s some Jamar Chase type of stuff so I this guy has loads of potential man and then also moving on speaking of loads of potential there’s a report with Marshall Latimore absent from OTAAS right now rookie quarterback Trey Amos has reportedly been turning heads locking up Debo Samuel on multiple occasions is what we’re seeing from reports i already showed you the clip of him doing it once so I don’t think it’s just super hard to believe that he’s done it more than once you know I’m not saying and I’m not even sure if these reports are saying that he’s locked up Debo Samuel most of the time or that he’s even winning the matchup between he and Debo Samuel but it sounds like he’s Hey he’s getting his he’s not losing at the very He may not necessarily be winning but he’s not losing and that’s incredible for a rookie let alone a rookie corner against a veteran like Debo Samuel at that but I really want to emphasize the fact that this is a rookie corner i’ve been screaming it for years videos live streams wherever anybody will listen cornerback is probably the hardest jump from college to the NFL it’s corner and quarterback in their own tier whichever order you want to put them in one or two whatever i just know there’s a they’re in their own tier and then it’s a gap and it’s everybody else they have the hardest jump from college to NFL it’s so rare for a rookie corner to come out already good at the NFL level it is so rare and if Trey Amos is one of those we really struck gold especially not only in the second round but the late second round and there’s also reports out there that Amos has been the cornerback one with Latimore not at practices which makes sense cuz if Terry’s not there Debo Samuel is your wide receiver one i I’m assuming and with Vladimore not there and if Trey Amos is always the one covering Debo Samuel it sounds like Trey Amos is already cornerback one and again Dan Quinn preaches competition it wasn’t until training camp Jaden Daniels officially became the starting quarterback it I mean Josh Connelly still the backup right tackle right now he’s your first round pick trey Amos is already cornerback one and I know Latimore isn’t there but that doesn’t mean that they can’t have Sarah still or you you signed over Jonathan Jones from the Patriots who’s a starting corner starting level corner he’s probably going to be a backup rotational piece here cuz Latimore Amos and and Samilia starting trio right there but Jonathan Jones could easily start right now easily i’m not saying he’s a high-end starter but he’s a starting corner and so Trey is playing over him in practices right now covering Debo no Bogani started for us last year he wasn’t like the greatest thing ever but he’s a starting caliber corner he can start over Trey Amos again just the whole veteran gets to start first and then the rookie has to earn it has Trey Amos already earned it over those guys he may not have necessarily earned it over Latimore yet but it sounds like he’s already earned it over the other veterans cuz again Connelly is still a backup tackle right now so I thought that was really interesting and then shouts out to Zack Selby directly through the Commander website himself he had a few observations too he said “As was the case last year the commanders had several players returning kicks during special teams drills usual suspects like Jayla Lane and Austin Eckler were present but so were Brian Robinson Debo Samuel Casm Allen Demetri Felton KJ Osborne Jaka Brooks and Noah Benogany as well most of these players likely will not return kicks during the season but the Commanders do want all options available to them if some of the primary returners are injured also while the drills were certainly controlled it was clear that Lane had a different level of speed so shouts out to that that’s great to hear you know this is actually my first time seeing that i already just pulled up the Zach Selby article and I hadn’t even read through it yet so the same time y’all are hearing this for the first time y’all are getting my live reaction to that not that’s music to my ears as well man i’ve been screaming Jaylen Lane was the best punt returner in the entire draft let alone the fact that he can also be your true deep threat let alone he can be your starting slot receiver let alone he could also do things out of the back field just like Debo Samuel on sweeps screens tosses all reverses all of that type of stuff and the fact that out of that whole list I just gave you Jayla Lane Austin Eckler Brian Robinson DO Samuel Casm Allen Demetri Felton KJ Osborne Jakory Brooks and Noy Benogy Jaylen Lane stood out and had a different speed from all of the rest of those guys is all you need to know wrap that up starting punt returner one of your starting kick returners it’s already been decided and it’s only your OTAAS also moving on drills this time of year are often planned in such a way that the offense can appear to have the edge with that in mind Jada Dales and his receivers look sharp during seven on seven and red zone periods i mean seven on sevens there’s really nothing the defense can do you’re on islands man that’s why like even if it were 11 on 111s but you made the football field wider defense will be at a strong disadvantage there as well chris Moore beat Trey Amos deep down the field as Daniels aired out a pass to the wide out so Trey must got beat right there by Chris Moore and Jaden Daniels but Jaden Daniels is a top five quarterback and I think he’s about to go in a campaign this year to where he’s probably top three MVP conversation type of stuff during red zone drills Daniels threw a couple of darts to Noah Brown and John Bates of the two the one that Brown was arguably the most impressive is Brown stretched out his arms to make a catch and held on after briefly coming into contact with the goal post oh boy JD you trying to send Noah Brown to the hospital throwing him towards the goal post hey good touchdown catch though samuel also made a nice contested grab against Igbonogy during red zone drills i like the fact that he’s using his big strength you know everybody’s saying I know why his name is Debo now and I like the fact that he’s using that that strength and physicality to box out guys like No Monogamy he’s going to utilize that I think a lot this season and in the future for us which highlights one of the main reasons the commanders traded form samuel can use his physical traits to keep the chains moving and if he continues to do that later in training camp when the pads are on it should help open up the offense that’s a good point too if it’s third down and we need somebody to just even if you’re not open just out muscle and box out the corner Debo Samuels your guy and that can keep the chains moving and keep us very efficient on the with the offense not putting putting up points and things like that and then lastly fans shouldn’t look too heavily into this but Brandon Coleman was lined up at left guard during an 11 on 111 period near the end of practice if that is where he lands during the regular season he certainly looks like he can handle himself on one play he moved particularly well in space down the field and helped clear a path for Brian Robinson coleman’s quickness and overall athleticism was why the Commanders thought he could be good at NFL tackle he might still be but for now those traits are serving him very well in the interior i’m telling you right now Brandon Coleman Pro Bowl even maybe potential allpro at guard i’m tell I’m I’m man I’m really high i I like him at tackle i think he’s just a really good offensive lineman in general but I think he has pro ball allpro potential at guard man and then to hear I mean we’ve seen all of the clips over and over again him at left guard in every little random individual drill or maybe there’s another offensive lineman to the right of him to the left of him left of him to hear that in 111s he’s left guard yeah that’s that’s pretty much a wrap man now moving on we also have some interviews and press conferences dan Quinn and Joe with Jr love what they’ve seen from Don Payne so far in OTAAS we talked about that in the previous video breaking down what happened from this practice and the commander’s defensive tackle is stepping up as a leader while his working approach is shining on the field don Payne said quote “I’m just trying to show the young boys how to do it.” Unquote you know what I’m saying he’s just chilling you know what I’m saying and then Dan Quinn said that he’s been really impressed with the offseason that Deon Payne has had and a lot of people are thinking with him going into year eight maybe this is the time that he really shows out and balls out man we really need it you know he’s technically in that contract year if he doesn’t want to get Jonathan Allen next off seasonason so we’ll see but Dan Quinn talked about Deon Payne said quote “Once that fire’s lit you got to hit it and he looks excellent.” Unquote i mean there’s been so much praise towards him dan Quinn even said quote literally today as in back on the fourth I said to him “Man I’ve been really impressed by your offseason.” Unquote and that’s not just out of nowhere for no reason like I think there’s something really to that for him to be like “Wow.” Like whoa well I didn’t expect this type of stuff hey man maybe Deon Payne’s coming with a different level of focus the talent and and natural athleticism the god-given ability has always been there i think it’s always been a lack of focus from him and if Deon Payne is locked in which of course I mean contract year he last time he was in somewhat of a contract year the man went out there and got double digit sacks maybe he could be primed to do something like that again then Scott Abraham asked first round pick Josh Connelly and he was talking about how he was getting more comfortable with every rep in practice scott Abraham asked him about the Connelly challenge and that fans have been enjoying he said quote it’s awesome i posted that about a year ago and for it to blow up now is pretty cool so this is kind of old it’s just after he got drafted by the commanders and a lot of the commanders fans and coaches and then media members were starting to do it it really picked up steam and went really viral but this is something that he posted a long time ago apparently and then Dan Quinn also just to let you know really random not important but I don’t know what it was but he had to run for a really important meeting to where like every reporter didn’t even get a chance to get a question in on him this was like the shortest Dan Quinton press conference ever also moving on Mike Santo talked about looking forward to going into his second season he said quote “This year is about being able to stack on to what happened last year being able to make that secondyear jump that is a crucial This is a crucial time in my career.” Unquote now hey like I brought up earlier he had a great season last year if he can get even better man watch out i’m telling you Mike Sar still all pro slot corner like top two top three slot corner in the NFL type of stuff especially now that he’s officially going to stay in the slot cuz now we have two true outside corners and that’ll allow him to play at the position he’s best at just like Brandon Coleman mike Sanil can be a good outside corner just like Brandon Coleman can be a good outside you know left tackle right tackle whatever but tr at the end of the day Mike Sanvers still has all pro potential at slot corner purely just like Brandon Coleman has all pro potential at left guard i feel like a right guard whatever but Sam Cosm is already your right guard also year 13 for tight end Zack Z and he said that he’s basically hungrier than ever and he had a lot of great things to say about Jayen Daniels he said quote “A lot of guys just love playing for him,” unquote and I feel like that shows with our free agency that we’ve had you know and even the trade Larry Tonso being excited to pull up debo Samuel was like “Yeah send me to the to the commanders trade me there man let’s get it.” That quarterback got something going on i want to be a part of that and then also moving on you have Natalie Spala that I briefly foreshadowed earlier and she had a lot of interviews with a lot of different coaches that we don’t normally get to talk to that don’t normally have press conferences so he she caught up with Bobby Johnson our offensive lines coach and said he said that he loves what he’s seeing from Josh Connley Jr and that he has a desire to work hard and learn from the guys around him and he also said that he can’t basically wait for Laramie Tonsel to finally get here cuz he’s going to have the ability to provide Josh with some of the answers to the test like so put him up on game some of the nuances that you know typically only veterans know and that would allow Josh Conny’s development to kind you know we can expedite it a little bit let’s you know let’s skip some steps you should you know we can go ahead and teach you these things and rather than you having to learn from for yourself how about I just put you on and then you can already go out there and be a great right tackle immediately year one week one not even just mid-season how about week one you go out there and already be great then also our linebackers coach Ken Norton Jr who used to be a defensive coordinator for a few years he came here took a lesser role to be just our linebackers coach to just re-emphasize the fact that we have a bunch of leaders and and like real serious coaches all up and down this roster he said “We feel like we’re really building something really strong here especially on defense.” And he talked about how he’s so high on the linebacker group and and that he he’s really excited to be a part of what the the commanders have going on right now and and he’s just really excited the whole thing was he’s super excited he also talked about how important it is to have Bobby Wagner a round sixth round pick came Madrono similar to how Bobby Johnson can’t wait for Laramie Tonsel to get in to put Josh Connelly up on some games some veteran game as far as nuances and things like that kane Madano is already getting a little bit of that from Bobby Wagner so he’s already a little bit of the head of the curve there as far as you know being taken under somebody’s wing but also Brian Johnson you know we never hear from him but he’s our offensive passing game coordinator a lot of people feel like he should be an offensive coordinator somewhere right now he talked about that he just loves the fact that everybody came back for another year including him he said that he’s the most proud of what the environment is here and everyone’s just having a blast while working hard so that’s a great environment everybody’s pushing themselves to go 110% but at the same time they’re still having fun doing it that’s the healthiest environment you can have very competitive but also still fun and again I just love the fact go to Natalie Space page cuz you can actually see them these are like two-minute clips that I’m summarizing very quickly you really want to because I’m leaving out a lot of the details definitely go check out those clips but I loved what he had to say about everybody coming back because I do feel like that’s going to play a huge role in our chances of winning a Super Bowl this year with the fact that we have so much continuity in the coaching staff then also Tovita Pritchard a lot of people consider maybe the next Shawn McVey he talked about the commander’s coaching staff as well and talked about how the coaching staff stayed put the advantages of continuity the chemistry between him and Cliff Kingsbury same thing basically as Brian Johnson he said quote “Everybody wanted to be back for more unquote.” So basically they felt like the NFC Championship left a bad taste in their mouth and we got to run that back we need to get ours back again let’s go win it all this year and I love the fact that like this whole team even not even just the players the coaching staff have that in the back of their minds he also said that he really likes the way that the quarterback room is competing with everything that they do from Jayen Dames all the way down to Sam Hartman they’re competing against each other and having fun that’s the environment he also added that coaches are enjoying the day-to-day progression and development of Jayen DS in year two as well and they’re really excited basically on some like you thought he was great last year this guy’s going to be even better next year but yeah man that’s the end of this video please get in the comment section let me know about everything discuss video please still follow that like button still follow the subscription button phone the bell next to that subscription button so you get notification each and every time I release the end of the day man really appreciate y’all make sure y’all still follow that like button on the way out and the answer to the trivia question is the Cleveland Browns which goes also back to my point if you made it this far in the video I’m 48 minutes in recording you made it all the way to the end and you’re hearing me talk right now man salute to you really appreciate y’all again the answer to Bobby Mitchell traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Washington Redskins elite ball knowledge if you already knew that off of the top of your head man I can’t even compete with y’all y’all know that one so shouts out to y’all man of course let me know in the comments section how you feel about everything discussed in the video trey Amos being quarterback one uh Jaylen Lane already stay on for that like button on the way out i’m going catch y’all later i’m out [Applause] [Music] you’re alive [Music] that’s right [Music]

The Cleveland Brown
What an easy question to answer. The Browns. I watched Washington beat the Browns in 1962, 14-13.
This may not be a popular opinion but I don’t like what terry is doing right now, I get that he deserves his money and all that he has dealt with but, terry has been paid a lot and I’m sure his new contract will be a lot as well why make noise right now when we actually are Super Bowl contenders, terry doesnt seem stupid like he wasted all his money on record labels and night clubs, I’m sure he has money, most great players would take pay cuts to insure the team could win and they could retire with a ring, I just think it’s a bad time for a money grab gives me Kirk cousins vibes
Of course the Cleveland browns 😅
Thanks!
I think Jacory Brooks makes the team as the 6th WR since he’s also a ST player as well. Gallup isn’t.
Rico got on the CDL Truck Driver Headset 😂
Returner should always be a cornerback or running back. The act of catch a pass and running as a wide receiver doesn't have 21 people in front of you naturally. Cornerback catching an Interception or a runningback taking a handoff has 21 people in front of you and the end goal. I've never understood why teams constantly us Wide receivers instead of developing a cornerback that would use this skill on defense and special teams
I love it
JCM is our starting RB…
You don't put your starting RB at kick returner
Cleveland
Rico that Georgia in you showing. Gone head drop the kinlaw video bro. 😂
Rico, you keep saying that you will get to the Kinlaw video?!! When are you going to complete it?!! I have been waiting for months for you to produce it?!! When are you going to get it done?!!
The only thing that could stop the Commanders this year are the corrupt refs like Shawn Hoculi and his crew and injuries.
I thought everyone knew Bobby played with Jim brown in Cleveland. Not a hard question.
Trade Terry for a good pass rusher and use our rookies
I pray they hurry up and sign terry.. im really starting to get concerned…. HTTR!!!!!
Cleveland Browns
Absolutely love Mikey and Deebo working late
He said Frankie gonna be full time outside lb 😂😂 nah I like he just where he's at.
Don't forget Jaxson Dart said the hardest Cb he went against was Trey Amos his teammate!! Now the Giants have Jaxson Dart and Abdul Carter got shut down by Connerly Jr so in a sense we got the 2 top giants draft picks Kryptonite/s 😂
We need Hendrickson before preseason games
Just admit ……. no Kinlaw video……. ever!
Cleveland trade
Cleveland Browns
What’s crazy is after the last preseason game against the Ravens it’s two weeks until the first regular season game against the Giants.
Heard the same bs about another cb that was a 1 pick. Don't believe everything you hear
Cleveland Browns
If Gallup or KJ wins the 6th spot Ja’Corey will be a protected practice squad member for sure.
💪🏾❤️💛🖤‼️
Cleveland, browns traded Bobby Mitchell to the Redskins
Cleveland Browns
browns
Rico, I'm cracking up! The fact tht we're still waiting on the Kinlaw video…ha ha ha. Glad u haven't forgotten tho.
Bobby Mitchell play for the Cleveland Browns😂😂😂
Cleveland Browns
My go to guy Rico! I’m a day late but I called the trivia question right in front of my daughter. I knew he was drafted by the browns and I think it was him where he was the first black player on our team. Googled it after & sure enough BROWNS 💪🏼 Elite knowledge my guy! Keep up the good work bro!
Y’all acting like yall heard terry say he unhappy, yall acting like it’s not voluntary , he literally deserves a bag lol same wide receiver with all them different qbs and he still produced he’s a commander personified pay that man so we can get out of the negative light of the media
Amos going be a dog I might have to get that 23 jersey and put it up on the mancave wall
Luvu going have a hell of a year
Jim Brown
I’m calling it now‼️…..Ferrell is going to ball TF OUT….🏹Hail4️⃣Life🏹……..G2G
Hey….I don’t know if you noticed….but in the clip of Amos, in far background is number 77 taking a piss on a random tree……hilarious !
