he had a career year last year this year still decent numbers had a little bit of a finger issue missed a start a couple starts two two’s belted deep into center his bell moving back he’s still on the track and he makes the over the shoulder grab good play by Kyle his 14th start on the year little bit of a mixed bag a lot of strikeouts walks a little high payoff to India rolled hard on the ground pazz up with it good scoop by Goldman one away people around here they say Bobby Whit he’s put up really nice numbers just not Bobby Wit numbers yet as he goes around swinging there for strike three sweeper from Warren out number two he doesn’t look right sitting on the bench right that shiny train this could be two here vulpi he’s got to take it himself there is two pascino ahead to third again at two and two there’s the fast ball and he got him kyus Bell lays down the bunt pza oh the pick at first goldid wow [Applause] bellinger lines right to India throw back to first it’s a double play base is wiped clean two down two-2 got him to go perez down swinging will Warren retired seven in a row it’s a shot into right center field from Loftton it’ll drop in on the chase as Ballinger loftton pumping on his way to second loses a piece of equipment he’s streaking for third rays is thrown to third it gets by the bag warren was backing it up but in over at third base is Nick Loftton with one out a triple for the Royals number seven hitter and a roll to short vulpi looks Loftton back at third throws to first there’s the second out and a bouncer to second reyes puts it away so the Yankees get out of the jam they strand Loftton at third we go to the sixth scoreless now it’s up to Tim Hill there you see the body of work one earned run allowed in his last 12 games payoff again big chopper over Hill vulpi from the right side he’ll make the throw and put it away will Warren five and two/3 scoreless baseball salvador Perez to short fulpy’s throw in time got him at first what range by the Yankees shortstop one away salvador Perez is running but nonetheless deep from shortstop all the way in the air little chopper going to be a play for Rice can he get it shovels and they got him at first oh what another great play by the Yankees infield reyes with the shovel to Goldman line drive right field base hit for Pablo Reyes the Yankee second baseman making it happen late in this game on both sides he’s at first and look who’s coming up to bat david The fact that Reyes has got a leadoff single presents this opportunity judge leads the American League with a 394 average 59 runs batted in he is pinch hitting here in his career one for 17 it’s two balls and two strikes to the captain just misses off the inside corner great eye by Judge payoff pitch and it’s in there called strike three oh identical spot as the prior pitch that’s the problem if that’s a strike then the previous one should have been a strike that’s all you ask for is consistency that’s the height of inconsistency right there the exact same pitch flip a coin high chopper off the bat of Gisham charging in India they get the out up to second goes Reyes into scoring position again inside it’s ball four rice draws a two out walk no balls in a strike gold Schmidt lines it off the glove of Pasquantino it trickles off the infield he’s going to beat the throw there and they have Reyes caught between home and third no tag ball gets away reyes scores yankees have a one- nothing lead on a wild play that ends at the plate [Applause] rice goes to third and the Yankees have taken a one- nothing lead so much to unpack here reyes has the right read but he stumbles and then stops and starts again and is laid out at home this is the right read right away oh Pascino’s trying to still make the play at first and then he stumbled and said “Oh no stop and start.” Garer on the ground to second lameu’s up with it it’s an easy bottom of the eighth for Jonathan Lewis yankees will take a one- nothing lead to the ninth devin Williams threw eight pitches last night he’s eight for nine in save opportunities he’ll try and get the final three outs pantino lifts it to left field deep but playable for Dominguez makes the catch one away chopper up the middle vulpi he has time two away three balls two strikes with two outs in the bottom of the ninth and the pitch and it is in there called strike three that’s the ball game yankees win it one to nothing williams gets the save and the Yankees sweep the Royals in Kansas City they’re now a season high 17 games above 500 [Music] [Applause] you can’t do count your [Music] streets will
