Meh, don’t need Provy, he can go. Would rather just get a right shot D anyway. Provy always seemed to make one or two mistakes every game that would lead to a chance for the other team. He’s kinda like Severson, just hides his mistakes better.

Focus on Fabbro. Provorov was good but if we gave him a 7 year deal like he wants he will be a bottom pair for at least 5 of those seasons with Mateychuk taking over the second pair. The second option would see him playing on his off side like he did this year in a more defensive role which we could find someone else that could do better.
Man, I would love to keep Provorov but not for the cap he will demand, ideally we can keep the Nashville gift in Fabbro though.
I’d love it if we got in on Gavrikov. Definitely a former player that I would be so happy to see return to the team
The last article Portzline wrote he seems pretty confident Provorov is getting a deal done, and Madison did a podcast last week that sounds like they are pretty strongly leaning towards here too.

I also wonder if the absolute radio silence from the front office might be because those long term employees that Waddell let go of may have been a source of some of the leaks.
