I don’t have any memorabilia, just a moment. The last Royals game I got to attend in 2014. I was celebrating my birthday a little early but got to see Gordo hit a walk-off dinger. This day was also the first time I ever had Joe’s BBQ. Pretty good ass day.
I remember a guy in the row in front of me basically called what was about to happen. “Lo Cain’s gonna drop one in with a flare and then a big fly”. We were about to leave, but I heard this guy and decided to wait and see if this prediction came through. It did. Lo Lo hit a bloop to the shallow outfield and then Gordo ripped one to right center.
