Miami’s offer, in the end, could even prove to be most enticing from Phoenix’s perspective—Miami's ultimate willingness to surrender Kel'el Ware, given the Suns’ noted hole at center, could be the true swing factor in Miami’s KD pursuit.

  1. They should not be offering Ware. Also the timing on KD’s preferred destinations means someone not on the list is getting close to a deal done KD’s team wants to dissuade them.

  2. So the Suns are trying to get Jabari from the Rockets, Ware from the Heat, or Castle from the Spurs. If any of them give up one of those guys then it’s over.

  3. Why would Durant want to go to Miami? They aren’t a Durant away from being a real team.

  4. Pat Riley old ass has been wanting KD on the Heat for like a decade. I can totally see him not letting Ware stop him from what he wants and that will be a terrible decision.

  5. Da fuq would you give up a guy like that for 37 year old rental contract guy?

  6. I think Miami will be able to get it done without giving up Ware, Jovic surely is being included I imagine

  7. Crazy how people are acting like KD is washed. Hes still a top 5ish scorer in the league & efficient as hell. I think he can maintain this too for another 2-3 seasons

  8. I just don’t understand why Miami does this I still don’t think it makes them better than the top 6 teams in the East they need to rebuild

  9. Yeah not for Ware: if we had 32 year old KD in a heartbeat. 37 year old KD I’m not feeling it. Not for a short term rental and what’s left of a name

  10. I don’t see the point of going to Miami unless he just wants to hoop and have a nice time on the beach, they aren’t contending for anything that team sucks, Bam, Herro and KD doesn’t get you past the second round

But if there’s one guy who doesn’t care about ring chasing for his legacy it’s probably KD he has his rings and just likes to compete

  11. My opinion, which amounts to shit, is unless you’re a team looking to sell tickets you don’t take on KD.

  12. Are people overrating Ware at this point? Feels like every rookie who shows some flashes get hyped beyond reason. Heat fans literally just did this with JJJ.
