Tyrese Hailburton Talks Game 4 LOSS vs OKC Thunder, FULL Postgame Interview
james Boyd the Athletic Tie in the fourth quarter only one assist 20 assists through the first three quarters why do you think it got so stagnant late and what did they do perhaps differently to affect the game so much yeah we got to do a better job i got to do a better job of keeping pace in the game um thought did a much better job of that last game you know especially down the stretch keeping pace getting rebounds and really pushing um you know I think we got to do a better job of when we do get stops getting out and running um you know a lot of times in that fourth you know we were fouling too much taking the ball out having to you know kind of run something versus um you know just excuse me just random basketball so um I got to do a better job there uh watch film see where I can get better um but yeah that’s on me i got to I got to get us playing faster down the stretch and uh you know I’ll uh I’ll be better game five tony up front Terry you’re up for just three minutes to go in the finals give that one away how do you feel right now how does that one sit with you uh it’s frustrating of course you know you want to win that game um you know especially a game at home where like you said you have to lead late um you know but that’s just not how the cookie crumbled today you know and so uh take a shower watch film see where we can get better and be ready to go for game five um you know I feel like uh myself personally I could be a lot better for us as a as a group and um you know we just got to get more stops down the stretch you know 17-point fourth quarter um you know after the offensive success we had all game um I think is really uh you know shows we got to do a better job moving the ball and I think that starts with me so um yeah we got to be ready to go game five um you know obviously going into a hostile environment we got to be ready to play and uh you know for us to uh to win we’re going to have to win one down there so um you know we got to be we got to be ready to go and um you know we got a couple days to sit on this watch film see if we can get better and uh yeah I’m excited about the challenge jamal jamal Collier from ESPN uh the first three quarters you guys what did you like about the defensive effort that you guys had especially on Shay um I think he had he didn’t have an assist in the game and then kind of what do you think also allowed him to get loose late in the fourth quarter yeah I thought we did a great job of mixing things up um you know Drew obviously did a great job um stepping his minutes double A i think we’re just trying to make it as tough as we can on him uh we got to do a better job of not fouling you know I think that’s you know where where um you know a lot of our mistakes came uh but I I thought we did a I thought we did a good job but you know he still ends at with 35 you know he’s a tough cover so uh you know we just got to you know collectively keep making it hard on him um keep rebounding and running all the way here on the left tim Reynolds AP Tyrese Rick has been saying since the start of the series that it’s an 18-day thing and it’s almost like he’s been planting the seed that this is going to go for a while how important is that mindset as it turns out now that you know it’s going to go at least six yeah um you know I think as a team you just got to be ready to respond you know um every game is different you know uh you just got to be able to respond when uh when your back’s against the wall and that’s here we are that’s where we are right now um you know so obviously it’s a frustrating loss but as a group you know I uh still have a lot of confidence in in in ourselves as a group um you know we got to be ready to go down there and uh you know and fight for 48 minutes you know it’s going to be challenged but um you know this group has been resilient all year and I wouldn’t want to go to war with any other any other group so I’m uh I’m really excited about game five dustin Dustin Deac Indianapolis star you obviously talked about what you feel like you guys could have done better in the fourth quarter but what how did you see them dial it up especially defensively and what did you see them kind of make a point to take away yeah I thought they uh they went more to that you know the small the four guard lineup uh you know that got us stagnant there um you know but I still think there’s a lot of areas for us to uh you know to get better felt like we got some good looks just missed some good looks um you know so again watch film see if we can get better guys will be ready to respond in a couple days anyone else with a final question back right hold on hey Tyrese in the second quarter quarter when you got that and one you celebrated after making that free throw how much of that was more a frustration of not getting calls or just being uh getting that call for the free throw yeah I think we’re just um you know through the course of the game we just got to continue to you know to to play and get downhill you know I think the the paint is our friend you know when we’re when we’re really getting in the paint you know everything kind of opens up so um obviously I haven’t that was my first free throw of the the series so just was uh you know excited about that and I think as a as a group we just got to keep getting downhill you know the pain is our friend we can play from the inside out you know the better we are so um yeah like I said watch the film see where we can get better and uh be ready to go in a couple days thank you Tyrese

Pacers missed the golden opportunity and now that belongs to Thunder. Game 5 winner odds 84.1% and they are at home. It is the most statistically and psychologically important game in a 7-game series. Anything still possible but odds dwindling for Pacers.
checking team stats, those FT missed killed. But realistically the fact that OKC only made 3 threes to Indy’s 11 is questionable especially if they won. The NBA has to investigate those refs for this game honestly. Pacers need to do better with just small things. But I already called the Pacers would give up this game and win 5 & 6.
This guy is super overrated.
Pacer fan here but I am afraid this cost them the title. Up 10 and not able to put the nail in the coffin was tough to watch. If they lose the title, this game will be why.
Ridiculous foul calls. Feeling sorry for Pacers fans, Refs are simply taking this game away from you guy's.
Humble response bounce back on Monday GO Pacers
Y'all letting a big Mann be the star ⭐ u can't score over 15pnts not gone work
They were supposed to win this one. They sold the last 3 mins
That's still one Hali of a point guard if you ask me. This is not an "underdog" Pacers team anymore. This team is for real and it's not over!
He should have taken more shots. Take over the game in the last minutes. Grow a pair!
I’m not having any opinions on this NBA finals. I’m just gon watch 🍿
Love you Hali!! Love your positive outlook after such a tough loss, you continue to show your ability to be an outstanding leader!
He wasn’t staring to be humble until the finals started
Nesmith jagged the game when he started sticking sg in thw last 4 minutes. He got 2 fouls quick and it turned the game. Nemhart should stayed on him.
Go Thunder i knew u could do it. 😂
So how that man only score like 5 point when they needed him the most he a baller but he not a killer
Even as good as he is , he is still overrated
that is what he gets. he was so quick to do the choke gesture during one of the games when they played the Knicks, and yet now they are choking against the Thunder.
OKC!!!! Let's go Thunder
Caitlin Clark, so inspirational
Pacers fans are the worst in the NBA.
You got beaten by a better team.
Foster didn’t shoot airballs
Foster didn’t foul before the inbounds pass TWICE
Foster didn’t get outrebounded by every opposition player like Turner did.
one of the worst officiated games ever. Shai pushes off everytime he gets the ball and always gets away with it. Nba not even trying to hide that they love the okc floppers.
Pascal needs to stop handling the ball so much on the perimeter…and the Pacers can't fall into the Hero Ball trap. And I understand that Mathurin came into the game cold after Nesmith fouled out, but he made a STRING of uncharacteristic mistakes, including missing THREE free throws in the closing minutes. Doesn't he have an 83 percent FTA? Between him and Scott Foster, those last 2-3 minutes were BIZARRE.
Pacers suck. Haliburton needs to shoot. OKC wins next 2.
I know everyone what's to blame Scott Foster but at the end of the day he wasn't the one missing all those free throws that's the real reason they lost and poor coaching in the last 2 minutes
HaliButtcheeks😂 bow down to OKC
Game 5 is going to be very physical. Refs are going to go the opposite direction and let everything fly this time because of the backlash. Not sure if this favors OKC or IND.
Dummies didn't capitalize off being in the bonus 6 minutes left in the game. Refuse to attack the rim. Shooting jumpers and threes like you down
🟠🔵 LGK!
WhatTheHaliBurton
This guy cries to the refs almost as much as LeCrybaby does
