[Charania] “I’m told Kevin Durant has no desire to be in Minnesota with the Timberwolves”

  1. Good! Save the wolves from gutting themselves for a rental of a 37 yo with an injury history and let us go after a point guard instead.

  2. KD: will give you me extension?

    Wolves: no

KD: I don’t want to go to the wolves

  3. Surprising since I thought, apparently incorrectly, that he and Ant are tight. If its Houston or San Antonio I get it because they will compete. Choosing to just retire and coast in Miami (solely for tax purposes) would be a sad way to go

  4. KD doesn’t want to go to the best team constantly in rumors about trading for him. He wants to go where there is no pressure to win so he can coast into the sunset on 26 PPG and first round exits

  5. The team that wants KD the most and he doesn’t want to go there. The three teams he wants to go to don’t want him. Something needs to give already.

  6. Makes sense, Minny doesn’t want to give him an extension, although KD doesn’t really have a choice either; he isn’t going to not suit up if he gets traded anyway.

Regardless, I do think its odd for KD to want a team like Miami that just isn’t competitve in the slightest, just seems like he doesnt mind playing stakeless basketball.

  7. Shows where his priorities are at. Never had the mentality to be an all time great.

  8. What does this mf want? I don’t think he has ever known what he wants in his NBA career. I’d still make the trade if I were Minny & tell him to play or retire.

  9. The NBA allowed such a toxic dynamic to exist.

Players basically call their own shots and cities.

  10. Why should anyone care where KD wants to go? If he doesn’t extend…so what? Why would anyone be eager to give a brittle 37 year old a large contract? He’s still great, but he’s not built like LeBron

  11. Looks exactly like what Butler did during the trade deadline with the Warriors

  12. Dude is 37. His trade value is getting slashed every time he acts like he’s still 27.

  13. I said if before and I’ll say it again: I wouldn’t give up anything of value for Kevin Durant.

  14. Suns didn’t even make the playoffs. He’s accomplished exactly 0 things while not a Warrior.

He’s a great player but I’d want him nowhere near my team at that age and contract.

  15. Funniest possible outcome would be him somehow ending up back with us
