It’s cut off by the center fielder Myers second base sliding with a double. We talked about a lot this season, but the last week or so , he has definitely found the fountain of youth that when a called third strike 97 at the knees and he locked up, Reynolds loops one down the left field line that’s pretty shallow, but it’s drifting out to Kyle ST and pretty much on the chalk in medium left field. Three homers 15 RBS with a 300 average for Myers line shot over leaping shortstop kind of for and into left field. So Dame myers is the first hit of the game for Miami leadoff single in the third. Here’s Nick Fortes right hand batting catcher, fly ball deep to left down the line towards the corner. It’s gone. Nick Fortes cracks a scoreless game open with a long home run down the left field line and the Marlins grab a two nothing lead here in the third Isaiah FFA leading it off and this is part of the reason why the Pirates are winning more. They’re starting to hit and they’ve got three guys over the last month are among the batting average leaders in the National league right down the third base line and the drawn in Soha could not field it. But the second baseman there on the outfield grass throws to first to get myers and finish up. The fish has been given a three nothing lead. Meanwhile, Mitch Kelly must be thinking this is more of the same. Everybody else in this bullpen has thrown good amount of pitches over the last 48 hours or so as Gonzalez guys, one in the air to right. Sanchez has got it. There’s one away, 12 pitch bouncing ball to second base backed by Edwards motoring to his right and pops it on to first and there’s two. Here’s Henry Davis Marlins lead by three. Here’s the two breaking ball line drive left center field to ranging over and the other way he gets there and he reels it inside retired. A Cruz missile his 13th and now it’s 3 to 2 big home run right there making it a one run ball game. So the tying run in scoring position, the winning run on base with a bouncing ball right side. This could do the job. Wagman picks it up. He runs in the back himself. It’s not a sack BT, but it’s a ground out. That’s just as good for Pittsburgh Davis trying to bring in the tying run. Maybe even the winning run here in the ninth. Davis swinging away. He lifts one in the air out to shallow right field. Sanchez coming on. Sanchez makes the catch and Triolo not going to try it. That is out number two and a big one, ryan Hayes who homer to lead off the eight steps to the plate with runners at 2nd and 3rd 2 outs down a run here in the night two, two for kicks and fires miss strike three and the Marlins hang on to even the series here tonight.
