  1. Was supposed to storm today, but sunny skies in 618. But nasty in Chicago. Good thing I have leftover BRATS  from last nights grill!!!

  2. How many of us think Lars Nootbaar is going to be on a different team by this August? I’m not sure if today is an indication, and I know he is currently in a slump. But, based on today’s lineup, it looks like he could lose playing time against right handed pitchers to Jordan Walker.

  3. I’m sure recency bias is clouding me (pun intended) but I don’t recall a season in my time watching baseball that has featured more inclement weather.
It feels like there’s a delay or rainout once a week

  4. Normally blah on double headers but since i have tickets for tomorrow apparently I’ll get to see both. Makes the drive all the way down to the south side much more worthwhile.

  5. They did not play so many doubleheaders for rainouts ten years ago. It’s ridiculous.

  6. Looks like an old fashioned double header tomorrow. Bullpen should be well rested.

  7. My name is Walter Hartwell White. I live at 308 Negra Arroyo Lane, Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is my confession.

  8. McGreevy starting game 2 tomorrow, so not all is wrong with the world! Fedde starts game 1, Sonny starts against the Reds over the weekend, per Goold.
