Grown go to miniiggrown.com use the promo code one love get 50% off your order are you kidding me that is huge 50% off your order uh mining.com delicious uh gummies delicious drinks uh all make you feel very very good let’s jump into the weekend’s news and uh there’s quite a few things to go over here um some I feel like we’ve talked about before but are coming back again which is a little bit weird but uh there’s reports the Vikings will be adding to their cornerback room could be the guy over there on the left uh the caliber of that player is to be determined alec Lewis mentioned Jack Jones or Asante Samuel Jr and I mean it makes sense like you’re very young you’re very inexperienced you have guys who didn’t pan out like Jeff Okuda you got Mai Blackman entering year three who didn’t play year two as potentially a starter so there is some worry in that cornerback room i do think they’ll add somebody at some point we’ll see who that is maybe just be some guy we never heard of i mean that’s what they usually tend to do one guy we know it will not be is Jaier Alexander uh he signed uh with the Ravens this week one year 4 million with up to two thou two million in bonuses uh apparently the Vikings did inquire about his services uh he wanted to reunite with Lamar Jackson who he played with in Louisville uh the Vikings do face the Ravens in week 10 will Jier be active or will he be hurt will he be pouting at that point of the season i don’t know i would assume that the Ravens will be competitive they will be good um so maybe he won’t be maybe he won’t be so we’ll see like personally like I I want nothing to do with him i started thinking about him like “Oh maybe.” But I don’t know like like he faces the Vikings he always gets torched and then he talks a lot of smack maybe he’s good against other teams i don’t know anyway Vikings rookies will report to Egan for camp on July 20th the vets show up on July 22nd training camp the dates are out there get your tickets now i know one will be there on the 29th i’m not sure what date I will get down there at this point yet that is to be determined um but yeah it’s an exciting time of year it’s not that far away summer i mean we’re already middle of June once the Fourth of July hits it’s like boom we’re moving forward and training camp will be here before you know it so uh it’s just it’s almost a month away uh should hear something soon reports that we hear something soon in Jordan Edison’s DUI situation in the next few weeks uh Ben Gosling expects Addison to be suspended for at least the first three games which is standard so some kind of resolution at least we’ll know like I I think it will determine who the Vikings will keep early i mean like Rond Del Moore the veteran like I think you’re going to want to keep him if you know Addison’s going to be out the first three games after that do you keep him after that i don’t know maybe let him go at that point but I think it helps his chances of making the team i think you want to have another veteran here and then Jordan Addison like JJ McCarthy they’re getting some synergy going here in these practices and I think he is set for a big season but he’s going to miss the first three games so will he get another you know close to 10 touchdowns i don’t know but um hopefully just it will be nice knowing what’s going to happen how many games he’ll be out so the Vikings can prepare and be ready for that some rumors or actually I guess some reports the Vikings offered Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones came out both basically one-year deals um and then you know Sam Darnold obviously was looking for the big contract to be a starter somewhere else daniel Jones kind of the same thing where like he felt like he could potentially beat out Anthony Richardson in Indianapolis he knew JJ McCarthy coming in was the guy he wasn’t going to be the starter so that’s what happened apparently the Vikings offered Jones more money than he did get in Indianapolis but I think it was just the fact that he was you know potentially able to start was the deal breaker there uh we got a couple other here nuggets an anonymous scout i mean I don’t know why he was anonymous at this point i mean praise the Vikings Diamond Jackson pick saying basically like he’d be a very good player for a long time maybe not an allp pro but we’ll be in a couple Pro Bowls worst case scenario yeah it was a safe pick we all knew it was a safe pick like I I think his uh ceiling I mean I think it’s high but also his floor is very high like I don’t think he’s going to be a bust i think he’s very safe i think he’d be very good very solid uh if he can get eight to 10 year starter the first round pick that’s kind of what you’re shooting for especially picking you know pick 24 late in the draft why i mean it was safe i don’t think this was a shock by any means so everybody knew that was a safe pick that the Vikings made it’s just kind of nice hearing somebody else say it maybe somebody else who’s not affiliated with the team and then some compensatory pick news dropped this week which I don’t think it’s really news i think we already were aware of this but Over the Cap recently projected the Vikings have a third round pick from Sam Darnold a fourth round pick and seventh round comp picks this year and that’s Sam Darnold Daniel Jones and Trent Sherfield like this Trent Sherfield thing apparently could lead to a seventh round comp pick i don’t know if he has to hit so many a number of games or make the team i think that’s still to be decided um but let’s not forget there was like last year all the rumblings came out that the Vikings lost a pick because they signed Sha Griffin turn that wasn’t true so I don’t know how much you put into comp news because that’s not really completely calculated and figured out till like March when it’s really officially dropped and I think all all these sites think they have it figured out they think they know what what the formula is but if it is true hell yeah third fourth and a seventh I’ll take that i want to have the I want the Vikings have nine picks next year i love the draft the more picks the better chances of hitting on somebody so uh that is your Vikings news brought to you by minigrown.com head over there and use that promo code one 50% off your order it’s a great way to just relax for 1. I'll bet they don't add anyone in the CB room. One exception might be Ramsey if he becomes available on good terms. They might not have space for Nudie or Zemaiah as it is.

  2. Darnold's contract is basically only a one year $37m prove it deal, with only a $13.7m cap hit this year, and zero guaranteed money in 2026 or 2027. Seattle can drop him at the end of this season with no additional cost. It's not impossible for him to be back on the Vikes in 2026, but there is a new Sam in town now.

  3. I think OTC had to recalibrate the Comp picks because the Steelers were scheduled to get 6 on face value, and there is a limit of 4 Comp picks per team. When they removed the last two Steelers picks – Sherfield was one of the FAs that was elevated and became eligible. And yes, I believe that you are right that these Comp picks can still be affected by who makes the roster, how many snaps players get, and what bonus targets they hit. That's why Daniel Jones being likely to start is great news for the Vikes – it could potentially be the difference between a 5th rounder and a 3rd rounder.

  4. Man I really don't think O'Connell cut somebody with rondell Moore speed it's a tool he can use to help other players get more catches
