  1. I officially blame Samantha Smith for picking the Thunder to win tonight, thereby causing the basketball gods to possess Pascal Siakam and the rest of the Pacers team with their evil voodoo devil magic to absolutely annihilate the Thunder and cause the entire Thunder team to lose their brains for four quarter after going up 8-0 in the first quarter.

This is my logical, factually-based, and academically-driven reasoning behind the result of this basketball game tonight

  2. What a gem this series has been for us neutrals.

The best 2 words in sports. Game 7. For the chip.

  3. I understand that OKC clearly has the advantage on paper for Game 7, but man – if you’re a Thunder fan, you have to be sweating the outcome. Giving Pacers a game like this going into Game 7… the first Finals Game 7 in nearly a *decade* after the miraculous postseason Pacers have had… that’s dangerous. The momentum is heavy. I can’t wait. This is truly the team of destiny

  4. Don’t let the scoreboard fool you. This was more akin to a 40 point murder.

  5. Terrible assist to turnover ratio for OKC in a closeout game. Your star pg can’t have a 2 assist / 8 turnover game..

A ton of ball stoppers out there in OKC. Definition of “let him cook” offense

  6. Sorry guys, I fucked it up. This is the first game I’ve watched all series.

  7. *Joe hits a 3 to cut it to 27 with 3 minutes to go in the 4th*

“SGA is just so smooth how he gets to the line”

    -Doris Burke

  8. First finals game 7 since 2016.

We all know how that went for the historically dominant team.

  9. **Five most lopsided preseason odds for every NBA champion in the last 40 years:**

    – 2015 Warriors (+2800)

    – 2011 Mavericks (+2000)

    – 2019 Raptors (+1850)

    – 2023 Nuggets (+1800)

    – 2004 Pistons (+1500)

The Pacers entered the season with **+6600 odds to win it all.** That’s 17th in the league, below the Pelicans, Suns and 76ers. OKC had the highest NET rating in NBA history. We are one Pacers win away from not only the most shocking NBA champion in NBA history, but also one of the biggest upsets in the history of American sports.

  10. Tyrese playing only 22 mins is going to be huge with pretty much three days of rest for game 7.

  11. Four Most Beautiful Words: NBA Finals Game 7

Home Record in NBA Finals Game 7: [**15-4**](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NBA_game_sevens#All-time_game_sevens)

**The 4 Road Teams that Won? All East Teams**

Year | Result | Notes of Opponents
    —|—|—-
    1969 | BOS def. LAL | LAL blew a 3-2 lead
    1974 | BOS def. MIL | MIL Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was 1974 MVP
    1978 | WAS def. SEA | SEA blew a 3-2 lead
2016 | CLE def. GSW | GSW Stephen Curry was 2016 MVP

  12. if Indy wins game 7, who gets Finals MVP? Seems like one different player has stepped up each game for them, and no one has really stood out the whole time. Might just be who ends up winning the last game for them.

  13. Giving up in the 3rd quarter of a FINALS game is wild to me. Its the freaking FINALS

  14. Absolutely incredible that this Pacers team pushed a 68-win team to a Game 7 in the finals.

Whatever happens, it was incredibly fun to watch them the entire playoffs.

  15. regardless if the pacers win or lose rick Carlisle is going down as top 5 coach of all time. can’t wait for game 7.

  16. Reggie Miller fucking loves Haliburton and it’s awesome to see him so hyped during these games

  17. The Halibans calf turned out to be the final sacrifice for the devil pacers, they survive to fight another day. Please Indiana I’m begging you please beat those poverty thunder and send them back to irrelevancy 🙏

  18. We need a fairly officiated Game 7. Anything else and you will have a majority of fans complaining. Make both teams earn it.

If Pacers pull off the series win, this will be the greatest NBA story in years.

Everyone outside of OKC and NYC are rooting for it.

  19. When there are 55+ FTA:
    Thunder 3-0

When there are fewer than 55 FTA:
    Pacers 3-0

  20. They said Boston had an easy run last post-season. They didn’t realise we played against greats like TJ McConnel, Siakam, Nembhard, and Neismith. Lmao.

  21. This Pacers team is everything good about basketball. Clutch as hell, never give up, greater than the sum of their parts.

    BELIEVE.

  22. That Hali no-look to the Siakam poster will be on every playoff / finals reel / commercial for the next decade or so
