angels traded for a STAR, then gave him back?? #baseball #mlb

this Dodgers outfielder is going crazy this year and Angels fans aren’t happy because he should be on the Angels let me explain so this is 24y old Andy Pies and he’s been a top five outfielder in all of baseball this year and he’s on pace for 34 home runs 111 RBI’s and an almost seven F-4 because he’s also really good at defense he’s turning into a legit five tool superstar because his arm is crazy and he’s pretty quick but if you guys did not know back in 2020 he was actually traded to the Angels after giving Anthony Renone $245 million the Angels try to make a trade with the Dodgers to get Jock Peterson and Ross Drippling but also there was a prospect Andy Pahes turns out not trading for Jock was a great idea because he only hit 190 with an 83 ops plus that year but also it would have only been a one-year deal because he was a free agent after 2020 aside from that they would have also picked up Andy Pies who again has been a star this year and whose fault was it well of course the owner of the Angels Arty Mareno after the trade was basically done he kind of just went back to the Dodger and said “Nah Una reverse card i’m not going to make this trade anymore.” Rumor has it that he really thought Luis from Heifa was going to break out

  1. Thanks for the post fuzzy I like when you give us updates and what the future could have brought us thank you, also when you do your recap today, for the Braves can you shout me out for Acunas home run cuz I’m the biggest Acuna fan

  2. As an angels fan I'd honestly rather root for him developing better with the dodgers cause the Angels couldn't develop any prospects before Perry started drafting guys like neto and schanuel

  3. The problem with this video is that it lacks context. The Angels were trying to compete at the time, they weren't trying to sell pieces to replenish the farm. They would have traded 5 somewhat productive years of Rengifo now for 6 years of a possible great outfielder 4-5 years down the road.
At the time it didn't make sense for the Angels, specially because of how bad Joc was at the time.

  4. Fudge Dodgers won those trades! Thank you Art Moreno! 🤣😂 Bos didn’t want Graterol so the Dodgers kept him. Mookie! Joc, if I remember correctly, had a nice offseason. Oh and won that piece of metal 🏆

  5. dodgers fan here, the truth is that the dodgers have THE best development system no bias, so i really don’t think pages would be the same player if he was in the angels system, no hate tho

  6. This guy was going to be cut from the Dodgers. They've been looking to trade him along with Muncy and Conforto. Two of these three have turned it around because they want to stay with the team and this is why they're performing so well. If they weren't with the Dodgers, who knows if they would be hitting as well as they are right now.
