I know there are a lot of supporters for us to move the 4OA for Dobson, but I think his asking price is way too high for what Utah is trying to build. If a top 5 pick is not already steep enough, Dobson’s next contract would make him the highest paid Mammoth player by $3M.

I like Dobson a lot. I don’t like him at 11m/yr.
Everyone just thinks they’re worth whatever they make up, what a joke. This dude had almost half the production this year as last year, not to mention a reduction is +/- by -28, and thinks he deserves that type of money. Utterly insane. Utah also doesn’t need defense nearly as much as other areas. Would be a terrible signing.

Even with the salary cap going up as much as it is, this is a larger chunk of cap percentage than what Cale Makar and Quinn Hughes signed for.
If 39 points gets you $11,000,000 then it looks like we’re paying Keller half the team’s cap lol
