Hopefully this is early to middle last year Sam Long and not end to this year Sam Long
People will question this but realistically who else do we send down? Maybe Clarke but he’s a lefty and has been decent. And Long was pretty effective last year and think he was just injured this year is why he hasn’t been great.
Other than one rough outing (or at least the only one I remember) I thought Bowlan acquitted himself well. He might be a good trade piece at the deadline.
Long is an excellent strikeout producer when he isn’t knocked around. Hope this IL stint got him right and he’ll be back to what he was most of last season
