This is the same captain that allowed bullying and harassment of Beach? Im not sure why everyone is happy that he’s back in the NHL.

Love this guy but I’d be surprised if he makes it out of camp.
His first game back at the United Center will be pretty emotional.
If Winnipeg can get even 50% of is previous potential it will be a huge win for that already stacked team

ugh great now i’m gonna have to see constant glazing of him, i truly could not care less about him or his career. anyone willing to turn a blind eye to sexual abuse happening in their organization is not someone who deserves to be welcomed back with open arms.
all the journalists who promised to do better are now gonna be kissing his ass every second of every day

The timing of his absence with the Kyle Beach/Blackhawks sexual abuse stuff was always a little curious to me. I have never believed how few players supposedly knew there was shady shit going on and Toews as the captain. If anyone knew anything, then he knew as well.
Hopefully I’m wrong and that was as much of a single bad actor as presented, not a locker room full of guys staying quiet when some bad shit was happening. If that’s not the case, I hope some of his time was spent evaluating his role as a teammate and leader too.
