MUST-SEE: Dodgers, Padres Benches Clear, Ohtani Hit With 100 MPH Fastball, Dave Roberts Ejected!
jack Little making his big league debut the one-1 to Tatis and boom plunks him right in the hand it was a 93 mile per hour four seam fast that runs in on him hits him in the back hand wrist area he drops the bat spins to the ground the batting helmet falls off he’s in pain jack Little’s like “Fuck.” Then Padres’s manager Mike Shield is pissed that’s horhit god damn it the then as the trainers looking at Tatis the benches start to clear and here’s my running in here’s the Padres’s dugout the Dodgers dug out what the you looking at what the You think I want and then Dave kind of just shoves him off with his right forearm a little bit and here we go dave Roberts versus Mike Schil and Dave is manic he’s in sense he’s trying to get through there to find his way to Mike Schil hey let’s let’s talk later okay let’s talk later okay okay let we’ll talk later we’ll talk later and then Schil’s yelling back at him pointing they’re going at it xander Bogart’s holding back okay perfect okay perfect shil barking back dave staring him down and he’s trying to get around his guys looking at him where’s he at where’s he at there’s Tatis walking away shield dave’s looking around still not done yet i don’t find that and Dave is high he’s just looking mike still chewing that gum they’re just standing around the tension’s going and now two guys are just standing around t Oscar’s out in front no no we’re good okay we’re good we’re good and then now we’re doing the thing where everyone’s just standing around and it becomes a staring contest dave is just trying to gather trying to stay calm but can see the fire still burning these two clubs have had it at it for years with each other waiting for someone like this the last in the NLDS 2020 NLDS dave just staring looking miguel Roas comes over to talk to him we’re good we’re good we’re good we’re good we’re good we’re good we’re good we’re good we’re good both teams just wait for someone to pop off and then they start to go back to their dugouts slowly but surely i’m going to beat your ass i’m going to kick your ass comes back out there blake trying holds him back they’re looking looking for someone mark Prior’s there tony Gonson and then Tasker Hernandez he puts his arm around Mike Schil to diffuse the situation yeah shakes his head mike Shield smart he’s now he’s covering his mouth now he doesn’t want to get the lips red there’s Kik Hernandez the Hernandez is over there to be peacemakers how could you resist T Oscar’s smile dave’s back in the dugout another look at it hits him right on the back of the wrist oh boo and then Dave comes back out to talk to the umpires and they’re telling him “Hey you’re getting ejected you can’t do that you’re going to be hitting the showers early.” Then the other umpires are talking to Mike Schill they’re talking to Dave Roberts meanwhile he goes back into the dugout how about this rookie pitcher in his first game dealing with all this drama padres’s Dodgers managers for both teams have been ejected from the game we’re both done and this has been building you’ve had eight hit by pitches this series it started when Andy P is hit by Dylan C and Mike Shield said “Who the do you think you are?” And it just kept going and going tatis has been hit three times show Otani was hit by Vasquez it was intentional then Lou Travio hit Eacius then Pas was hit again on the cutter and then Tatis the latest victim and then jump to the bottom of the ninth inning the Dodgers trailing five-2 two outs runner on third the 3 0 to Show Otani and he hits him plunks him up in the back area and there’s no doubt this is 100% intentional for a right-handed pitcher to miss that badly glove side he was aiming for it and this was a clown bush league move by Robert Suarez he was ejected hitting Shi Otani the second time of the series they’ve intentionally thrown at the best player on the Dodgers and arguably the best player on the planet and show waves off his Dodgers teammates clay Kershaw already on the top step ready to leap over tyler Glass now he’s has hands up ben Kasperius looks like he’s ready to go tyler Glass now says throw him out show says nope takes off his arm guard gives it to Chris Woodward waves back his Dodgers teammates to stay in that dugout shakes head he’s okay yeah yeah taps on the shoulder he’s fine suarez you’re getting tossed he’s ejected you can see here glove side throws it right to that back area show end up posting a picture on his Instagram says waves at it waves waves hey waves no I’m fine i’m not getting the satisfaction i’m too busy trying to be the best player that ever played the game he’s smiling yeah he’s okay he’s fine he knows what happened yeah he’s good his show Otani he’s be just fine suarez go to the showers man he’s crying about something but this happened the other day and then Show Otan is going over talking to a Glacius in that Padres’s dugout this just shows Show Otani is a different type of dude he’s a bigger man than me shaw Tai not taking the bait not giving in he’s fine and then Show is talking to Louisa Rise at first he’s pointing to his wrist probably where Tatis got hit then Show points to his shin point to his wrist they’re talking lot of tension but Showi’s diffusing it and then look a handshake from Arise and Show how could you not love this guy i mean all class he’s smiling and now he’s talking to Cronin Worth cronin Worth is is smiling woodward just talking about what went down in just a crazy crazy series okay arms crossed you have head nod yeah he’s going to run cuz I’m going to run i’m going to run going to second it’s going to take second he did he’s laughing show Otani man if you don’t love Show Otani you don’t love baseball the guy’s all class the guy’s great for the game and after the game Manny Machado said to reporters that the Dodgers better pray that the X-rays come back negative on Fernando Tatis Jr they better light a candle show Otani actually posted a picture on his Instagram story of him getting hit so a lot of tension a lot of drama what an incredible thing for baseball to have these two teams going at it like this but the Dodgers they’ve taken five out of seven and they take three of four against San Diego these two teams meet again in August but that is going to do it for this Dodgers dugout breakdown my name is Doug McCain you can follow me on X and Ohtani is the greatest. All class. I love that man.
Dave Roberts is such a badass.
guy posting and narrating this video. you don’t need to use the Lord’s name in vain. I was interested in your video until I heard that. but, I am not your concern. you should be concerned with what God is thinking.
MLB = WNBA
Why don't they let players/coaches go at it like hockey…we need more of that
OHTANI…
IQ * N * EQ
self control ….
with respectful reacted…
and the way he faced to
situation of the game !
he is absolute awesome…
beautiful human being 👍
OHTANI…🎵🎶
I SAUTÉ YOU ‼️
Let’s go play ⚾️ 🎯🏆
"What an incredible thing for baseball"??? Are you kidding me? I think it makes MLB and those who play it, look like fools. #1- If the two managers think they are both "tough guys", they should have let them go. The players running out onto the field who want to fight, let them go as well. If the umpires let it go just ONE TIME, this kind of asinine thing stops immediately. I hate watching the fake fights and stupid unwritten rules of baseball. #2- If Suarez intentionally threw at Ohtani, he should be arrested and charged with assault. Throw a rock the size of a baseball at someone in the street and see what happens to you. If he hits Ohtani in the head and puts him in the hospital, then everyone is sorry and feeling bad. How about you just stop throwing at each other? Lastly, new "tough guy" Manny Machado should be suspended immediately for the threat he made if Tatis is hurt. Ohtani is a class acr and comes from a culture where the type of behavior is frowned upon. Perhaps Rob Manfred should get off his a** and do something about this before, baseball loses what little fans they have left.
Othani pure class, rest of dodgers pure trash, hitting same player 3 times, disgusting. Obviously your best player is gonna get hit in his next at bat.
He told the parents that they would never be able to beat me in Japanese, but since they didn't understand Japanese, they got scared.
Teo and Shoei for President.
Tatis is steroids he will be ok
Japanese fans should contact MLB and voice their concerns. They can't let superstar Ohtani get hit like that. Padres needs to be punish for that. Without Ohtani, no one in Japanese and the world would watch MLB.
World leaders need to take notes on how to be more like shohei
These guys are baseball players for a reason…they chose the non contact sport..bench cleared for no reason 🤣🤣🤣🤣 they not about that life
The Padres carried a 5-0 lead into the ninth, and Dodgers reliever Jack Little had been handed his Major League debut. Little’s 1-1 fastball came high and tight on Tatis, catching him in the right hand. Immediately, Padres manager Mike Shildt raced to check on Tatis. But Shildt quickly turned his ire toward Dodgers manager Dave Roberts. Eventually, Shildt’s shouts in Roberts’ direction prompted Roberts to race toward home plate and confront Shildt. “I’m taking starters out of the game, trying to get this game over with and get this kid a couple innings," Roberts said. As the two managers converged, Roberts bumped Shildt — and the benches and bullpens emptied immediately. More pushing and shoving ensued, but there would be no further fireworks. (That’s in large part due to Ohtani. After he was hit in the bottom of the inning, he waved toward his own dugout, essentially telling his teammates — who seemed poised to hop the railing — to remain where they were.)
Ohtani never gets brushed back. It's about time
Got the chance to travel to Japan this past year. Wonderful culture. Ohtani perfectly exemplifies Japanese culture. Just a great human. Dave Roberts on the other hand…is a world class ass.
I guess the ball in the middle of tatis back the night before wasn’t intentional. When did dodgers fans and players/managers become so damn soft?
Its a Shame to see this in today's game. we start doing this again these young guys are all going to end up on the DL. They don't make them like they used too.
報復を指示されたにしてもスアレスの行動はNPBでプレーしている外国人選手に対しても嫌なイメージになるし
これからMLBに行く日本人の選手からするとパドレスに対してのイメージも悪くなるよ…
Good on you for gettin this out so fast
both teams are a bunch of big babies….this aint the real world, this is baseball
If I were a Padres fan, I would be ashamed of myself.
💙⚾💙
Shohei's action unintentionally negated the other meaning of “golf is a gentleman's sport,” which is that "other sports than golf are not gentleman's sports. Shohei probably meant to say,
"Not only golf, but baseball and other sports should be gentlemen's sports.”
He also said, "Sports, not just golf, are different from fights. It is because there are rules that are controlled by reason."
"Then let's play sports here instead of fighting. Because this baseball field is a place to play sports."
Shohei is tantamount to saying that.
He does so even though he was just after suffering what could have been a life-threatening injury.
When he is playing baseball, he says,
"Let's always consider the time and place and not get carried away by our emotions.” It is tantamount to him saying, "My injury is nothing serious, so don't worry about it, let's keep playing baseball.”
The reason why Shohei Otani has emerged with this kind of behavior is precisely because he was raised in a Japanese culture that has continued since the Jomon culture 14,000 years ago.
It is a fact that the human world on earth has always had a different way of thinking and looking at facts, a different way of perceiving phenomena.
He is now teaching it to all of us without our being aware of it.
You're looking at a Billion Dollar 3-way Player…. with a "pureness sportsmanship" adding to his legacy…. Thank you Shohei..
Poor Ohtani. He is being used as a scapegoat.☹
Este tipo es el goat❤
Don’t love ohtani at all…. I think he’s on something
Respect from a Yankees fan for Shohei
Leave the commentary to Jomboy wtf was that 😂
I’m a San Francisco Giants fan and our rivalry with LA Dodgers. But what San Diego Padres with ghetto. Google pro baseball dame and you’ll see fans cheering in unison and packed baseball with fans. I’m half Japanese and had dirty done to in sports.
The Padres won the game, but were defeated by Ohtani in terms of Dignity.
Ohtani's achievements in reforming MLB for the better may not show up in his stats, but they are a great achievement.
Jomboy called and wants his schtick back
Tatis kind of moved into that one.
Jomboy Vibes
Shohei the ultimate Chad. Took it like a champ and laughed it off.
Stay classy San Diego
You can tell the padres were intentionally hitting the dodgers . But most of padres that got hit were crowding the plate .
I'm a giants fan and i love Shohei.
Juicer Tatis flopping and being dramatic as always. Meanwhile ohtani just takes it like a man.
South side fight 😂
Padres hit the dodgers best player twice but they hit the padres best player thrice 😂
Otherworldly poise under pressure. Didn’t think it was possible for Ohtani to rank any higher in my book but he just did. Much to be learned from this series.
Did he steal to second base though?
Your a homer
CAN,'T WAIT TILL.PLAYOFFS!!!!!!!
I hate the Dodgers but that pitcher in no way did that intentionally and the padres manager is full of BS 😂
San Diego Padres are a class act! l.a is trash!!! Tatis gets hit 3 times never once complained or started any trouble…but the chinaman gets credit BS stay classy San Diego ❤
