  1. I love baseball with a burning passion and will watch just about anything but this Guardians lineup is really making me question that philosophy.

  2. Dump the short-term veterans and AAAA players.

Promote the kids and let Manzo and Martinez get a real shot.

I haven’t been this bored watching the Guardians offense since Shelley Duncan and Matt LaPorta were our big boppers.

That’s 48 runs over 17 games averaging 2.82 runs a game. Clearly a glaring problem. 6-11 in these games. It’s miraculous they’ve even won that much considering the 11 run outlier. Without it,
2.31 runs per game. Doesn’t even sound real. This is with a top 5 hitter in baseball in the lineup.

  4. I am drunk as hell but I bet there Ws positive a.

    We’re gonna be fine.

    Go Guards.

  5. It is becoming increasingly difficult not to view this as yet another wasted season during Jose Ramirez’s prime, simply because ownership was too cheap to field even an average payroll.

  6. Tonight our beloved Gs could only muster 1 run vs the worst pitching team in the league. The lineup featured not 1, not 2 but 3 batters who had an OPS in the .400s.

  7. I really can’t stand Chris Gimenez in the booth. I get he’s new so he thinks he has to be super positive about every single thing. But it’s so damn annoying. He wouldn’t say a single thing about our bad offense and literally chalked it up to every single pitcher we face having their best stuff. I’m literally begging for druncle #2 back. At least he doesn’t give a shit and says what he feels

  8. Don’t think Bibee is a guy that can be trusted to go past 6 innings right now, but I also don’t think Vogt is willing to knowledge that. His line through 6 tonight was 6H 2ER 9K 0BB, then allowed another 5 hits and 2ER in the 7th and 8th. Not sure he has it for that many passes through the lineup right now.

Not that any of that matters with the state of the offense anyway, but food for thought.

  9. If you asked someone to guess which one of these teams was 15 games under .500 without looking at the standings, they 100% would have guessed the Guardians.

  10. Welp, I expected this. It’s hard to really care when it’s the same shit every day and nothing changes.

I really think our offensive woes stem from way beyond our MLB hitting coach though, and that’s not gonna get fixed within a season.

  11. its almost like the organization doesn’t want me to pay attention or care any more.

I’ve pretty much had it at this point. team doesn’t give a shit on the field, neither will I.

I have to come to terms with the shittiness and train myself to just not care any more. as a Clevelander living in Texas, sports is the one way I get my fix of home. Clearly between this, the Cavs and browns, I chose…….poorly.

  12. Went to the game tonight with my fiancée. What they tell you about this ball park is all truth

There was no play by play announcer for the entire game lol

  13. The Lane Thomas trade might go down as an all-time miss. (Hopefully not as bad as Junior Caminero for Tobias Myers).

Thomas has accumulated -1.2 WAR with the Guardians.

Jose Tena has accumulated .7 WAR with the Nationals, and he wasn’t even the best prospect in that trade. Ugh.
