  1. LeBron was dominating the league when I was a child.

LeBron was dominating the league when I was in college.

LeBron is still dominating the league now that I’m an adult.

    Crazy.

  2. When LeBron was drafted:

    DVDs were still a thing

The last American male won the US Open

Return of the King was a few months away from being released

    Bush was president

War in Iraq was going on

  3. Bron’s first time making all NBA I was in the 6th grade, he’s still making All NBA and I just turned 32 yesterday.

It’s legit insane how long he’s been great.

  4. I say this as a Patriots fan, it gets hella exhausting when we constantly bring up how long these guys have been playing every 6 hours. But you look at the comments on posts like this, and so many people are amazed every single time. It’s the same discussion every single time. It’s like y’all are in Memento and keep forgetting. Lebron is old and still good. Tom Brady was old and still good. Let’s move on.

  5. Fanatics Fest is one of the biggest cash grab events ever. Basically a weekend for the richest sports fans in NYC to get social media cloud content.

Shocked they’ve been this successful at getting clips on here and other similar outlets this year. Paying extra for LeBron really a game changer on his own.

  6. Tbh the fact that it’s all in the same century doesn’t make seem that bad.

  7. I was in elementary when LeBron was dominating with Cleveland

I was in high school when LeBron was dominating with Miami

I was in Pharmacy school when LeBron was dominating yet again with Cleveland

I’m in 2nd yr of Medical School and this motherfucker is still dominating with Los Angeles

When I graduate from Medical School , this motherfucker would still be dominating

  8. get influencers outta these events man, i dont wanna see kai cenat or mr beast everywhere

  9. I can’t believe I was born in time to see LeBron, Brady, and Ohtani dominate their respective sports

  10. Congrats he played for a long time juicing, a lot of casuals don’t realize that lots of nba players will still be good past 40 with modern medicine and PEDs, he’s not an outlier

  11. ill never forget watching him and Melo battle it out for their respective HIGH SCHOOL teams on freaking ESPN – so much hype on that matchup – it was unprecedented; and im so old …

  12. If he plays 3 more years my kid will be the same age I was when LeBron was drafted.

  13. I first heard of LeBron when I read about his HS games in a now-defunct print newspaper when I was a freshman in HS and didn’t have the Internet.

    Now I have achieved singularity.

  14. Wembanyama: “He was drafted before I was born.”

“Cooper Flagg was born during the season in which LeBron made his first nba finals appearance” – /u/AccomplishedBake8351

    Showdown for GOAT#3 ?

  15. – Doesn’t play defence then yells at younger teamates for missing his man.

    – Glares threateningly at ref’s demanding calls.

    – Tucks ball under arm and runs like a football player to get to hoop.

    – Often takes multiple steps deliberately

    – Constantly campaigns to be called ‘The GOAT’ instead of doing it with playing the game.

    – Calls himself King James and has a tattoo saying ‘The Chosen One’

  16. LBJ in 2003 : I am 14 and in HS

LBJ in Miami : I am in college

LBJ in Lakers : I have wife and 1 child in primary school

    I am 35

  17. i started watching nba since 2000 and juuust missed mj being mj. yep it’s gonna be hella weird

  18. JFK was shot in the head in Dallas when LeBron hit that game winner against Detroit

  19. I was just having this convo with my wife. The day Bron retires is gonna be crazy. I was like 9 when LeBron was drafted. I’m turning 31, with a wife, kids and a mortgage. Whole time he’s been averaging like 28-7-7 too lmao

  20. Regardless of the GOAT discussion, there can be no doubt he is one of the greatest athletes to have existed.

  21. I remember going to see him and his high school, play vs Mater Dei at UCLA, his senior year. And still ballin in LA after all these years #PangosDreamClassic

  22. Game 7 of the finals tomorrow and the first 12 posts of /r/nba are Lebron posts.

  23. I was 8 or 9 when born was drafted. We may never se an athlete dominate for this long again.

    Side note: who’s Kai Cenat?

  24. What’s going on here ? What am I looking at with bron Brady and wemby ?

  25. The first time I heard his name was after his sophomore year in highschool (my senior year) when I was playing a casual game of 21 in a driveway with some kids after graduation party.

Somebody’s kid brother was plugged into the recruiting scene and started talking about this kid from Ohio that may choose Duke or OSU but would probably go pro right away.

The next two years as he was getting more and more buzz I would always think about that kid thinking, “Wow, that kid nailed that.”

I watched him at St Vincent St Mary on ESPN in my sophomore year of college and then his first NBA game was appointment television in my junior year.

It is insane that he has not only lived up to the expectations but exceeded them all. Depending on the circumstance and matchups, I’ve rooted both for and against him but my kid knows who LeBron is and it’s incredible that the first time I heard his name was 24 years ago back in my home town which feels like my multiple lifetimes ago.

  26. My sister was born a week before Lebron’s debut and graduated from college yesterday.
