to one right now why does that say final that should not say final that should say 6 p.m let’s update the scoreboard there it is 6 p.m oh 69 p.m nice it is not starting at 69 p.m it is starting at 600 p.m tonight i am Russell Holiday this is Nothing is perfect we are very excited to watch the Abbots for Conucks for the Charlotte checkers uh we’re going to have playbyplay tonight for you guys um I don’t normally do playbyplay on the streams but with not everybody being able to watch the game I’ve decided to do that so let’s go through what we’re going to do today before we get into things we’re going to start off by saying hello to all you beautiful people who are already here waiting to get started for this game we’re going to go through the stats that you want but you don’t really need Calder Cup final edition we finally have a couple games so I put together some stats for you guys during the first intermission we’re going to have some Abby Kucks trivia it’s going to be a lot of fun players and so we’ll have to see if we go to overtime for that and then after the game is done postgame show with Dustin Boydell the Russian Dusty postgame and then we’ll break down everything that happened in tonight’s game obviously Abby up three to one in a best of seven that means if they win tonight Cup’s in the building ready to be handed out so we’re hoping that happens so let’s start off little bit more expanded but these are just the stats through the first four games of play so the Absford Canucks have scored 15 times that on 95 shots they’ve had 16 power play opportunities and they’ve scored five power play goals so that means they’ve got an overall power play percentage in this series so far of 31.25% so that’s pretty dang good their shooting percentage is also like really really good too it’s almost 16% and then they have had 82 penalty minutes so far in uh in four games in this series yeah that’s right you I’m not 82 penalty minutes in four games so that’s 20 minutes per game uh and then their pen kill has been decent too 82.35 uh not quite where it’s at for the overall uh for the whole playoffs but still decent uh the Checkers for their part have scored nine times uh they have 159 shots they’ve had 17 power plays so far they’ve scored three power play goals they’ve had 74 pellets so not quite as many as the Conucks but still quite a big total for four games played and then if we’re looking at their shooting percentage they’ve got 10% less than the Conucks so they may have 159 shots but they’re only scoring at just below 6% uh power play wise they’ve been decent right so 17.65 is not bad for a power play their penalty kill is where it kind of hurts right the Conucks obviously have the 31.2 25 on the power play meaning the penalt for the checkers is at 68.75% so not great we’re looking at the highest scoring players so far in this series uh right now we’ve got Arch Deep Baines he’s got three goals so far in this series uh Leer Mackey now has two scoring two goals last game and then Carlson has two okuliar also has two and then Sammy Blle also has two uh if we’re looking at assists we got two guys at the top carlson and Bla both with four assists and then Bane Sassin and Kirsten all have three assists so those are kind of your assist leaders and then pointswise it kind of stays the same we got Oh 666 oh no Hail Satan what uh so you got Carlson Blaines four games played six points so far in the series and then uh you got Sassin at four points the highscoring player so far for the uh Charlotte checkers is Kirststead at three points uh plus minus wise Wannon leading the way he’s a plus four so far will Lannon and they got Ty Mueller Kadratzv Leer Mackey and Woo so all Abbottsford Kox again leading the way when it comes to plus minus when it comes to shots this is where the one category where the Charlotte checkers are on top so sort of Leonard Aspund asend aspplend oular right the highest shooting player so far of the kucks is 12 by Phil Deppy and then penalty minutes wise and whistle and Nate Smith are leading the way Jar is not far behind and so is Tristan Nielsen and then if we’re looking oh this stat is kind of oh oh it’s cut off all right now you can see it so points per game as well obviously 1.5 1.5 1.54 for uh Blle and Carlson and Baines there and then shots per game as well another category where the um Charlotte checkers are doing better but you got Max Assassin look at him three shots per game so that’s not too bad either uh and then this Yeah so we got we’ll get started here pretty quick uh they have just finished I think they’re about to do the national anthem i think everyone’s lining up on the blue line um and then if we do have a quick look back see last this is last game so the shots were quite uneven once again so Charlotte did outshoot the Conucks 34 to 23 but again shot percentage- wise they did however stop the Conucks from scoring on the power play which was good for them and they did manage to score a single goal on the power play which means they did win the special teams battle but overall they ended up losing the game uh with two goals by Jonathan Leraki and a goal by Archie Baines yeah so very impressive stuff so far uh for the Absford Canox in this series let’s get back over to that and then we’ll hop back over to the bar yeah they’re lining up now own net plays it off the boards baines gets to the half boards but loses the puck shot to the front net gets blocked another shot to the front of the net gets blocked by Sassin now he gets it flips it into the Charlotte zone knocked down there by Charlotte they’ll play it out to center but Breezewis steps up rips it in from the red line at center puck onto the near side boards in the corner carlson’s there fighting ends up falling the Charlotte Checkers start working up the board will Lockwood’s there d jeppi’s on the ice so the Abbottsford Conucks have already started to change they’re not even a minute in here and Abbottzford back in their own zone pass in front bobbled by the checker player in front of Sheilovs couldn’t get a chance off looks like the defender might have been back Charlotte blue line but they intercepted there polar bringing it in sammy Bling the puck to the far side in his own zone abby picks it up and they’ll start skating out cadratzv over the red line at center flips the puck in capo Kako slaps it behind the net he’ll play it to the far side bla throws a hit on his man can’t get the puck though who play the Charlotte checkers play it to the far side boards will Lannon pinches down causing some chaos looks like a rugby game all of a sudden broke out there make sure Crystal is available in case we need to rally crystal’s at work tonight guys i’m sorry i’m sorry crystal’s at work tonight puck all the way down the ice sheilov stops behind zone net puck up the half boards gets by the Canucks player and then he steps off the boards and actually hits his man down so prevents a good chance there charlotte picks it up in the middle of the neutral zone and flips it in puck goes by Woo actually he must have let it go now he kicks it behind his own net he’ll play it up the boards bill DPI gets the puck over to Waters and Waters gets it out to the Charlotte blue line now they flip it back in woo’s there again he plays it back up for Neielson and Nielson plays across the zone over for Breeze who plays a nice pass up for Sassin sassin shot to the front of the net first shot of the game for the Abbsford Canucks sassin from a sharp angle putting a puck on net maybe was looking for a shot for a rebound but uh Kappakin jose can you see it’s dedication but secretly enjoys the challenge swervven need that first goal yeah pure veteran yeah side and he gets by the Charlotte player comes all the way out to center where Charlotte picks it up they’ll play pass there now Charlotte playing out of their own zone pass up to the connect blue that he has put up in these playoffs it’s it’s unreal and you combine that with five shutouts um he’s just uh far and above for me the uh the playoff MVP at this moment right now yeah the amount of saves like you saw in the stats that you want but you don’t really need what was it like 109 let’s I’ll bring it up so everyone can see it but I think it was Yeah 159 shots so far uh for the Charlotte checkers minus the shots they have today already so absolutely crazy stats there for them so far and Archer Sheil so far has been up to the task yeah I mean he’s done absolutely incredibly this series and also last series against Texas i mean um he has has uh found a way to eliminate those stinker games uh knock on wood and uh he he has just found that big game play that he showed when he was playing with Latvia in the World Championships when he set the record for the most shots faced um you know he uh he did the same thing in that tournament over there i think he had four shutouts in that tournament as well and that was a short tournament so to do that was uh incredible and uh yeah um you know unfortunate uh that the penalty kill let one get by but I mean you can’t be perfect all the time so uh a little bit of a down there uh the refing has not been great um you know the the way they’re not really taking two at sometimes out of a pile or uh or are taking two when they should only take one it’s just been kind of backwards to me um I mean they’re no Jordan Samuels Thomas so like thank goodness for that um because it could be way worse but even the linesmen are kind of calling they just seem nervous i don’t know what it is like maybe it’s cuz they’re excited they’re they’re playing in the they’re calling this game right cuz it’s probably the biggest game these guys have officiated um so obviously there’s going to be some nerves for them as well um I mean overall a pretty even game um not a ton of downs u they need to get more shots um when they took that pen when Mueller took that penalty it really really killed their momentum especially after Baines and Carlson had just got uh some goals kind of close together uh you give that one back on the power play and then it was kind of all Charlotte after that a couple of rushes at the end of the period for Abbottzford but nothing really materializing into anything dangerous or or uh quality shots on net that being said being tied going into third period when you’re up 3-1 in a series I mean there’s no real pressure um obviously you want to win at home um and close this thing out and not have to travel back to Charlotte but at the end of the day you do have a twoame cushion on the back end um if this one doesn’t really go the way you want it to in the third period but from what we’ve seen the entire playoffs Mal Holtra and uh this coaching staff is really really good at uh getting this team ready for the third period and and tied or leading uh they don’t lose a lot of games so uh I would expect Abbottzford to come out quickly like they have been in the third periods and uh push to get that uh go ahead goal and then look for uh the the insurance goal and hopefully bring this thing home i think my down for the period would be the Ty Mueller interference penalty at 1052 of the second period because anytime you’re taking a penalty in the offensive zone and I said it when it happened the guy went down a little easy but that’s what happens man you cross check a guy in the offensive zone while your guys are controlling the referees are going to be more hyper aware because if suddenly the adversary cannot score immediately after that then they look really bad because Tai Miller took a guy down so not really like Tai Mueller to do that kind of thing but maybe just uh be a little overexuberant on that play yeah I mean it was just a hard for check which uh Abbottzford has done the entire series and like I said the refs have called some weird penalties that one to me was a bit soft yeah um a couple of the Checkers are really good at diving we saw that uh last game uh when Neielson got called for a trip that was more of a guy just skating into him he didn’t really put his stick in the guy’s feet right um the player skated through his stick so um but again these are young officials that are learning as well and nobody’s perfect so um we we take it as as we uh we get it um obviously they could be better but uh to be tied 3-3 I’ll I’ll take that as a positive going into the third any day uh especially with this Savvy Conucks team and and the way that Mal Holtra is able to for some reason just get these guys to come out in the third period like they’ve been shot out of a cannon going to give it up to Wood Lake for another 1399 donation that’s his second of the one was they were debating whether this if the Canucks can finish this out and get the Calder Cup where does that rank uh organizationally uh and there was guys who were like “No it doesn’t even beat any of the times they made the playoffs.” So out of those two takes what is the coldest take there oh man um it Okay it’s got the Jano and Trenton thing is just dumb that’s not even a cold take that’s just stupid um but to say that winning a Calder Cup has no real organizational value or doesn’t mean anything to like Canucks fans and shouldn’t really mean anything to Knox fans is crazy i mean this is the fifth youngest AHL team that played this season um so that means that the majority of these guys still have a chance at making an NHL team like it’s it’s crazy to me to think that this has no bearing on their careers i mean their hunger to win at the next level is just going to increase by having this winning experience in the playoffs at the AHL level doesn’t matter what it’s professional hockey like all of this feeds into training camp next year and these guys pushing the veterans for spots on the team with with every game they went deeper in the playoffs it was more and more experience and you saw these guys getting hungrier and hungrier and pushing harder and playing a harder game i mean look at the look at the player that Lena Carlson has developed into i mean playoffs aside the last 40 games of the season into the playoffs the guy has been unreal and like he is very close to being a playoff MVP right behind Sheilops and I mean you got Arte Baines now showing up huge um and and getting what is it seven goals in the last seven games um you know showing up when it matters most and when it comes to uh the fall and these guys are going into training camp and development camp I mean they’re going to want to win at the NHL level i mean if they win the Calder Cup the next step is the Stanley Cup yeah most of the time teams that win the Calder Cup are like the life AHLers that have like tons of playoff experience under the belt i think going into this playoffs the most AHL playoff games any of our players have played was like 12 games it was crazy how young and inexperienced these guys were and now they play with such structure and have everyone clamoring over the the system that Manny Mel Holtram has these guys playing under um that has So the cult So you’re saying the this not being a big deal is a bigger cold take than trying to sign Jano or Trenon absolutely probably because I’m angry about Trenon right oh 100% but I mean like when it comes to Jano or Trennan you don’t need either of them you got Sammy Blade right here in Abbottzford sign him like the the hits this guy has thrown in the playoffs and even in the regular season what team any day uh he’s an incredible two-way center but it it depends what the cost is and it depends what we’re doing when it comes to trades i think one of the issues is trades are starting to happen overtime period so we’re going to give Dobby his dinner a little early so while Dobby’s eating his dinner I’m going to tell you guys about the PWHL Vancouver franchise i promised you I would do this and I haven’t done it yet we’re going to get started here in overtime pretty quick the intermissions for overtime for the AHL are actually quite short so we’re probably only a couple minutes away so PWHL Vancouver will be uh playing out of the Pacific Coliseum next year and uh the PWHL uh free agency started and the uh the PWL Vancouver signed three players north Vancouver native Hannah Miller who is actually playing in China for the most part over the last few years two-time Walter Cup champion Michaela Cava uh and then Ottawa Chargers Theresa Vanosova who’s from the Czech Republic or sorry Chetchia but not the Czech Republic anymore i’m an old man forgive me dobby getting his dinner there everyone see Dobby’s done his dinner what a nice boy huh oh yes what a good one huh what a good boy okay I put your bowl down over there so you can lick it a little more if you want all right so Oh we still got trivia up here bye-bye trivia all right so number one Hannah Miller like I said was playing out in China actually for a bunch of years but did end up playing last year in the PWHL for the Toronto Septers um in the regular season overall as she did end up getting uh oh she played both the 24 regular season and then the 2024 so overall has played 52 games and has 38 points were pretty good especially since she’s a North Vancouver native and then planted in the playoffs in both of those years both for Toronto only playing four and five games because Toronto got eliminated um out of the playoffs so Hannah Miller signed by the PWHL um Vancouver franchise and then the other one I said Mikuela Cava she was playing for the Minnesota Frost so the uh Vancouver PWL franchise has picked up another Minnesota player after picking up a whole defensive pair from there uh Michaela Cava is a forward born in 94 so um I’m very old uh and then in the two seasons she has played in the PWHL 54 games in total with 27 points and uh should be a really good addition uh 5’4 she’s a little bit on the shorter side um but uh did play very very well in the playoffs ending up getting five points in eight games for the Minnesota Frost on their way to their uh PWHL championship so she won both championships with the with the Minnesota franchise which is pretty cool so another signing Michaela Cava and then the third player as I mentioned from Chetchia it’s uh Theresa Vanosova playing for the Ottawa Charge and the Ottawa Charge did play in the Walter Cup final this year losing to the Minnesota Frost uh did represent Chetcha in a bunch of different world championships won the bronze medal in 22 and 23 and then when playing in the PWHL has played 53 games in total and has 34 points so another very offensive player for the PWHL Vancouver franchise so as I mentioned three players signed by PWHL Vancouver who have not announced their name yet but we’re also going to be looking forward to um we’re looking forward to what this team can do because obviously I mean love adding North Vancouver native Hannah Miller and uh and just another double winner too right so the uh Vancouver franchise let’s see if they have their updated list i don’t think they have a roster yet or maybe they do oh yeah here it is so yeah they’re slowly filling it out one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 so they’ve got 10 forwards one two three four five defenseman and a goalie mashmire Emirates Mashmier who is uh has more saves in the PWHL than any other goalie in the history of the league for the two years they’ve played so uh should be really good and then as you can see here it was Sophie uh Jake and Claire Thompson who were the defensive pair that the Vancouver team stole away in the expansion draft so there’s a little bit of the PWHL news there for you guys i promised I would get that on there for you and since we had the time and we were going to overtime I thought that would be fun so let’s uh get back to the bar first overtime period people the players entry and then a pass in front and the stick gets taken away and Charlotte can’t get the shot on net philby picks it up and he’s in his own zone spinning charlotte trying to get a change on keep the Abbottzford Canucks deep but they manage to work it down low lecter Mackey knocks down a puck he gets on side abbottzford sammy Blade through the middle takes a shot that gets blocked he falls over his man charlotte works up the boards out abbottzford intercepts it at center kratzv banks the puck up played to the middle sammy Blake cutting across the blue line he gets poke checked kadratzv working hard to get back before Charlotte does he’ll flip it all the way down to the blue line abs picks it up there jujar cuts across the slot shot to the front of the net that goes off of a leg and out of play 1220 left to go in this overtime period furious action at both ends of the ice this is chaos uh got to be a new record for Russ a thousand viewers i will say this is the most people I’ve ever had watching when I didn’t pirate a game because if anyone here who is an OG knows at the very beginning in the preseason we had uh we had the Conucks game on because they weren’t broadcasting it anywhere except for on kucks.com so I was able to put that one on and we had like 12,000 people watching that was crazy but for a stream where it’s just me and my face and you guys in chat this is the don’t get the win at home which is unfortunate but hopefully you know maybe the Abby Center has a viewing party or something like that uh that would be uh that would be really nice for for the fans and um we can wrap this up in game six here and not have to take it to game seven on that garbage ice uh down in Charlotte it should be noted as well for everyone who is still watching that the game on uh Monday is actually a four o’clock start so uh it’s 7 o’clock Eastern so it’s a 4:00 start so it’s an earlier one as well so back into the Charlotte checkers time zone do you think they take advantage of that or will it be kind of the same thing for both the Abonox and the Charlotte Checkers having to travel all the way down there with only the one day of rest i think it’s going to be same for both teams now Charlotte’s been in the West time zone uh for what a week um three games in Abbottzford so um it’s going to be tough on both teams uh to travel back to to the Eastern time zone and get ready to go um they’re probably both getting on flights tonight and heading down there right away um as quick as possible hopefully uh Aquaman is footing the bill for another charter because they’re probably going to need one um to get down there and uh yeah they’re just going to have to remember that the ice is uh choppy they’re going to have to strike early in the periods and hopefully uh get ahead um early in the first and then capitalize in the first five minutes of each period and um then just defend while the ice is crap because you’re not going to get a lot of stick handling or passing um and uh yeah we’ll see what they can do so does that make the uh the Tai Mueller penalty which we called a down during the Rusty and Dusty Sideshow does that make that one stand out even more now oh 100% 100% um you know in the offensive zone you take that you’re up 3-2 uh in a championship game you have to be sharp and you have to know that the refs are watching every move you make and uh yeah that’s a tough one to take um but that being said you you the penalty kill has been so solid that you don’t really have a fear when when uh the Abby Canucks take a penalty so um just an unfort unfortunate timing for them to get a power play goal on that one and then just uh couldn’t get one by Kakinan in overtime well they got one by him but they didn’t get it by the post as you mentioned with Sassin hitting the bar there hard i think there was even an Abby Kuck had his hands like half in the air when the puck went off the bar right it was close i was half I was standing up when Cara was all alone in front there man why couldn’t that been like Leer Mackey or something oh yeah well I mean Sassin with a good shot too right like there was some juice on that one but sometimes that’s the way it goes right just an inch the other way and it would have been banging in rather than binging out and that’s how that’s the thing about hockey right we talk about the peer domination they hit the post they’re absolutely dominating probably the last 10 minutes of that overtime period was in the checker zone looks like Checkers were down and out and the puck comes down the ice and bam off of two sets of skates Mueller skates so we’re not going to blame him too much for that one but I think even could I think Breeze even gave it a little kicking motion in front so I think he was maybe trying to like deflect it but yeah well it caught him off guard i think he wasn’t expecting it to come off a Mueller skate and uh yeah it was just a I mean a perfect storm right just was meant to not meant to end tonight that was the that was the hockey gods just intervening right there like that that just was not meant to end tonight and uh we get to do it again on Monday uh and everyone who was viewing come back we’ll be here on Monday we’re going to be here on Monday again for it we’ll have to come up with some fun things to do during the intermissions as well again we got Dustin as sure for sure on the one of the intermissions for the Rusty and Dusty side Joe and the postgame show so you know we’ll get that and we’ll have some other fun stuff too who knows what we’ll get on to the show for that um lineup wise the Charlotte Ters didn’t change anything after that last game came into this one they’re young guys jack Deavine actually looked really really good in his only his second game of the playoffs coming fresh out of college um and then the Abby Conucks running with the same lineup as well i ask you this question out of most games because Manny Mahaltra is a guy who keeps his players on those toes regardless of win or lose is there anyone on that lineup for the Abby Conucks that you see maybe being uh taken out or inserted in um hard to say um they do have Dino Camites energy guy that can come into the lineup and and help uh push the forche um and he does have a bit of a scoring touch um I wouldn’t really bring anyone out on the blue line they’ve kind of been playing solid and they they pretty much set in their spots now in their pairings so I wouldn’t want to me mess with that this late in the series um that being said I trust Manny’s instincts um he’s had great instincts all playoffs and pretty much every time he puts a guy in they get the game-winning goal so if he does make a switch I might put my money on that guy getting the game-winning goal yeah i mean I think you’ve seen the the fourth line with Chase Waters at center uh the captain has been getting a little bit less minutes than the rest of lines but for the most part the the top three lines look like they’re getting pretty much even minutes and then the but Manny Mahalra doing what you need to do in this kind of a playoff series where you’re playing every other day and they’re rolling the lineup which is good to see and I think the other part of the management by the Conucks that I like tonight was they were doing a really good job of keeping the checkers deep and not allowing them to change which can be a huge part of a game yeah they did hem them in a few times for sure um one thing I would like to maybe see is um matching up Leer Mackey better and getting him a little more open hey checkers were heavily keying on him tonight after the two goal performance he had the other night so um going to have to work on getting him a little more open ice maybe put him on power play one too as well um that uh that shot uh is kind of wasted when you’re putting him on the second power play unit but um we’ll see what happens um Manny will I’m sure make adjustments after this and uh you know Abby hasn’t lost two in a row in the playoffs so hopefully they can continue that uh trend and bring this home in game six i’m bringing this up too now here for the the viewers the uh Charlotte Checkers finished the game with 40 shots uh Abbottzford finishes with 32 so eight less they did outshoot them in overtime 8 to five which was good to see but yet another game where you’re seeing the Charlotte Checkers getting uh quite a bit more shots than the Absford Canucks did um but and that’s despite how many blocks did we see out there too like they don’t keep that as a stat here uh how many shot attempts do you think the Charlotte Checkers are getting per game here like are we talking like 60 shots on net uh kind of a thing from the Charlotte Checkers um too many uh this game and previous game definitely too many um shots on net i’m sure Manny would like to to curb that a bit um but they are just kind of um trigger-happy guys they do just shoot from absolutely anywhere um so it’s tough right like you can try and shut it down but then maybe you start getting into shooting lanes and you’re then deflecting pucks past Sheilovs or creating screens so it’s not broken right now um in the sense that Sheilovs is making the saves that he can see um they’re not giving up a ton of super dangerous opportunities or shots um they are low quality shots it’s just a high volume and it’s a lot of work for Sheilovs but uh he’s been up to the task thus far and it’s just one more game these guys just got to bring one more win home so hopefully uh hopefully they get some rest on the on a flight tonight or first thing in the morning and away they go so a very close game obviously an overtime win for the Charlotte Checkers uh we got the Abbottzford Canuck uh commentators doing the three stars uh for tonight’s game dustin if you’re making the three stars who’s your first segment third star for this overtime loss for the Abbey Conucks uh first star is Lenus Carlson um for this game he uh he had a heck of a game and and again was buzzing in overtime he was around the net in the third period i thought he was going to get uh maybe get a nice rebound or something and and seal this one but uh he had a great game um Dine had another phenomenal game um some huge save uh some huge um offensive work uh he’s been really uh great for their power play and and uh that but uh also Kacin had another great game um so I would have and and she loves both um had great games um so you need about five or six stars then is what you’re telling me yeah pretty much it was a weird game right like it was really spread out one of those ones where it’s hard to realistically pick um because a lot of guys had really strong games so it’s it’s a t it’s a coin flip right um I don’t know that’s that’s a tough one the Charlotte Checkers uh took two of the three stars they gave Jesse Pularvey a the first start with a gamewinner and an assist he did assist on the um which goal was it here uh the first goal so he started it and then he finished it so I can see that lionus Carlson with the two goals getting the second star of the night and then Jack Deavine uh hilarious profile picture too which you can see he is literally like a child here make it nice and big for you look at that he’s got a suit and tie on but getting the third Dennis by I think the thing is too it’s one of those things we talk about a lot of the time is the intangibles of u what you can see from a player and Jack Divine tonight only the one assist but he did have a lot of presence out there as I mentioned second game in the playoffs so I’m I’m not too upset about yes RV Linus Carlson and Jack Divine as the uh the three stars nope and we’ll give no stars to the officials for the missed calls in overtime that we won’t talk about either yeah uh Sammy Blade getting punched in the mouth and you know there was a few of those yeah carly agrees got mauled at one part horrible rest cost Abby the win mauled at one point yeah yeah so Carly Isaac absolutely agrees with you uh delay of game was delay of game so I was going to ask you about that one too because the puck went over the glass the referees got together and said no it got tipped what did you see on that play it happened so fast and and I think it was a delay of game but unfortunately in the AHL they don’t review that one you can’t challenge stuff so you just have to go with what the the blind mice don’t see um yeah a few unfortunate moments uh the ones in overtime are even more egregious because you know these guys are fighting for a championship and and when they’re black and white penalties it’s it’s tough when they’re not really making the calls but I mean it’s playoff hockey refs like to have their own agendas and we’ll see who’s out there on the ice on uh Monday uh I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw number 42 i thought that linesman who was waving it off as a tag like it looked like he was like trying to throw a bunch of He’s like it’s like like bro like relax like it’s all it’s all good we saw the first couple of tips there right but you’re like throwing cash around the building apparently well that’s all the money he got uh bribed with right yeah he’s practicing for later the number Thanks for all the cash oh brutal well the Cubs didn’t score the first game uh goal tonight but they did obviously tie it up on Linus Carlson’s power play goal um what do they need to do starting next game to have a little bit of a better start uh to begin the game down in Charlotte like I said they got to take advantage in the first five minutes when the ice is fresh um so they can make use their speed and use their stick handling skill and set up some quick strike goals um they got to remember the ice starts to get real choppy later in the uh periods down there in Charlotte and then in the third period it’s pretty much like skating in slush so um it’s a tough adjustment to make but uh I’m confident that they’ll be ready to go and they’ll be hungry for this win especially after the energy they felt tonight um it’d be a shame to to not close it out and and uh as much as it would have been nice to win at home it’ll be nice to to quiet down a uh visiting crowd who do you think has the most pressure going into game six the Checkers or the Conucks um the pressure starts to mount on the Conucks in game six um because you don’t want to have that game seven um Charlotte Checkers are playing with nothing to lose right now right so or everything to lose yeah I guess if you will um so they just have to go for the win whereas Abbottzford you can get stuck with being too cautious from time to time mhm and they just need to focus on playing their game which is the attack and and continuing to push the play um which they fell out of a little bit tonight um looked a little nervous uh from time to time but we’ll uh we’ll see how they rebound i guess winning the cup on the road will will be just as sweet as winning at home oh absolutely a win’s a win oh man what a crazy stream dustin we’re at like 1,750 people watching because all the illegal streams got shut down and um and
