Astros vs. Angels Game Highlights (6/21/25) | MLB Highlights
on Nolan Shaell bobblehead night here at the ballpark shauna wow bobblehead that would be for you Wayne nolan Showell getting his flowers here tonight with his bobblehead being passed out to all the fans entering here at Angel Stadium this evening jos Soriano who in his last two outings has been dominant man his stuff has been so good his fast ball has been touching a 100 is free and easy not overthrowing any pitches pñena chase and it’s strike three that’s that slider I think it should be a real effective pitch against we’ve seen him over the years even when Shel was on the bump for the Halos got him to chase that slider the 1-1 ground ball sharply hit diving Netto off his glove trickles in the short center and Eso Paradus is on with a single here is Cam Smith the rookie runners on second and third two outs and the 3-2 again and he got him to chase that one that was the breaking ball the knuckle curve it was low and away it would have been ball four but a strikeout will wrap up the inning brandon Walters numbers seeing three starts has yet to pick up a win or a loss buck 53 is his erra doing a great job sub one whip on the reason for that is that strikeout to walk ratio here’s a rocket to left coming in Altuve and it gets by him it goes all the way to the wall and holds at second base it has been sort of a bumpy transition for Jose Altuve to the outfield and he totally misread that line drive yeah and he’s been playing a lot more in the DH role not a lot in the outfield of late this is where the Angels now need to get the run in here’s Mike Trout trout was 0 for two last night and he tried to hold off and goes too far that’s a swinging strikeout and the Astros pick up a huge out here for the second out two two to Ward swing and a miss struck him out on a sweeper down and in back to back punch outs for Brandon Walter angels had a runner in scoring position and nobody out and they do not score astros got to see 23 pitches from Jose Soraniano in the first and the pitch there’s one grounded to Netoette skips off his glove recovers throws and gets it there in time boy that skipped away from Neto and you were thinking that was looking like it was going to be an error but he was able to recover and has that strong arm and threw a strike to shot well got him with the breaking ball on a check swing at strike three he’s starting to rack up some punch outs with that knuckle curve and that’s a swing and a miss gave him the knuckle curve and struck him out strong inning for Soraniano sets him down one two three he’s retired the last five in a row adell is on with a base hit next batter for the Angels will be Luis Ranhifo ranho one for three in last night’s opener and he elevates this one he’ll elevate and he’ll celebrate a two-run homer here in the second well that sweeper right down the heart of the plate he’s got to get rid Heo going and maybe that swing again can get him right fourth home run 17 RBI’s after that butt hit basically for Joe Adel a two-run shot going 408 105 mph off the bat for Red Heap luis Kor will lead things off facing his former teammate Jose Soraniano to lead off the inning here’s the next delivery and he’s going to get him on strikes right there struck him out swinger missed strike three the fourth straight strikeout for Shoraniano angels have a pair on first and second with one out taylor Ward the next batter and there’s a ball down the first base side it’s going to roll down in the corner one run is going to score trout’s going to be waved home as well the cut off throw wasn’t handled and two come in and Taylor Ward brings in both base runners clears those two they score it’s four nothing Angels and here’s the next batter Logan O’Hoppy like to see his bat heat up there’s a home run from Logan Hoppy out to left center field it goes to the California Spectacular logan O’Hoppy back on the board his 15th of the year that was Logan O hammered a long long way you know he’s feeling good with that swing it’s been since Sacramento that ball almost went back up to Sacramento oh hammered the Angels have opened it up here on Brandon Walter may 22nd in Sacramento off his last home run he had four in that series up there jose is going to tag and get the third two outs and Christian Walker will bat and the first pitch to Christian is a shot and it gets by Neto the shorts stop into the outfield and it’s an RBI single for Walker and it’s six to one now i think Neto thought he should have had that it may have even ticked off his glove i think so they’re going to give Walker a hit and an RBI two and two and Neto hits one hard that’s fair over the bag and down the line second double tonight for Zack Neto a little hungry today going little double double shell can tie him up right here yeah it’s his bobblehead day he’s due to do that shell it’s a bouncer it is past right field neto’s being waved home cam Smith’s throw to the plate too late rbi for Shawell on his bobblehead night it’s 7 to1 26th RBI shawn gets that by Gerby never an easy thing to do picks up an RBI halos get that run right back war drove in two of those third inning runs with a double ground ball backhanded by Parades from his knees and he throws it on the fly to first base how about that play by Isach Paredes channeling his inner Ken Camdini down at third base here’s the one two and that’s it up the middle backhanded by Guorme from his knees gets up throws to first in time to get the out on Campo nice play by Guor went to the shortstop side of second base to field it soraniano has been in command today the scariest moment for Soraniano was the first inning nine strikeouts now coming into this inning alone his 84 pitches 20 of those pitches were thrown to Alt that’s in there strike three the 10th strike out for Sorano talk about having everything working into left field and that’ll be a nine-game hitting streak for Jake Meyers bounces in front of Taylor Ward jake on a 3-2 pitch singles into left only the Astros third hit tonight soraniano will not be able to get that third straight start with seven innings but in six and two/3 he was outstanding tonight so Ort walks the leadoff man got to bring up Oh Hoppy their catcher who’s one for three a two-run homer in the third high ball left center field hit pretty well al Tub’s chasing it out near the wall so is Meyers and it’s gone second homer tonight for Logan Omered again they come in bunches for O Hammered angels add on and now it’s 91 yeah Logan Hoppy gets a sweeper and this one sweeps right into the middle of the plate oh stays back on it and this one just slides over that left center field fence two home run night four RBI’s for Oh as we go to the bottom of the eighth nine to one Angels lead christian Moore christian Moore sends one into center field jake Meyers why not why not just continue to play great defense even in a 9-1 game where the Astros are down eight jake takes one away from the rookie Christian Moore and Sam Bachmann who’s looking to finish this one out bachmann had two strikeouts in a scoreless eighth inning and here’s chasing it he’s got it say good night to the Astros the Angels with a rare laugher tonight they pound away against the first place Astros 91 the final and to do it against the Astros here is really really impressive for this club started with Seraniano with an excellent performance on the mound but the power from Logan O’Hap Luis Ranifo the balanced lineup

Keep practicing with the ball advice i gave you. I can that some of the team are being to see there head down look at the ball hit the bat. Once you can accomplish that goal you will be give to position the ball anywhere within the playing field 🫵🙏🏼
Way to bounce back boys.
Way to go Halos!!!!
The original LOS ANGELES team. Halos played o. 41st and Avalon heart of Los Angeles. O’Malley bought the halos and sent them away, claimed Los Angeles didn’t have a team them proceeds to bring the Brooklyn dodgers. Traded the Wrigley Field to the city of Los Angeles for the land at the ravine. Wrigley Field got torn down with false promises to the public. This was supposed to happen at the ravine.
BEAT THE CHEATS!!!!
This is what happens when all the batters hitting in the low .200’s hit at once, but it’s pretty rare that happens, you can’t be a contender with 1/2 your batting order hitting less than .220.
Why is Altulve playing LF?😂😂😂
