Most painful loss in a while and thats saying something with this team
It sucks to lose, but Schanuel had a great game. So there’s that at least.
Still pretty cool to see how great of a hitter Schanuel is developing into.
If schanuel hit that out it was gonna be the shohei game vs the royals on June 21 2022 all over again😂
rengifo is killing me
anytime we get close to .500 we just really let shit hit the fan

Was gonna hate on Trout for another signature unclutch moment but that ball was smoked. Apparently had a .740 xba. Unlucky yea but still it sucks to not see him come through
This team has a horrible habit of giving up the lead the next immediate inning. Total momentum killer. Horrible loss.
Schanny is a madman and I’m loving it. On to the next one
Game came down to bad luck again (lineouts by Trout and Gifo, horrible call on Newman).
But I always love seeing people call a batter “unclutch” because he only comes through 45% of the time.
Bad pitching days happen to everybody. I’m glad to see the young kids fight back though.
Also, Schanuel is the best bat on the team but people aren’t ready for that conversation yet.
Its not our time yet, but these kids man… they will get us there.
Soriano, Neto, Nolan, Logan, Reid, even Moore despite a tough game today. They are kicking some serious ass.
And fuck the Astros
Bad luck Schanuel hit didn’t go out. Still a good game
Now we get to really hear it from the “Trout sucks, Trout’s not clutch” crowd even though that ball was hit on a line and had a 74% chance of being the game-tying hit. Sums up his season. One of the unluckiest hitters in the league.
Glad to see people starting to really appreciate Nolan.
Still dorks in r/baseball that would rather have someone his age toiling in the minors to eventually get 3 chances in the bigs, fail, and then become irrelevant to the sport.
He’s our best hitter and is starting to crush the ball the last 2 months.
Trout and not swinging at 1st pitch meatballs. Tale as old as time
Angels stayed relentless till the final out of this game. They aren’t the bad team that yall doomers think they are and want them to be. I am staying with this team til the end of the season and still believe they can make the playoffs. You still want to only come in this sub when they lose leads/games, cool. Fuck your downvotes in advance.
Outscored Houston 18-12 in the series. This team is a contender.
Manager should have pulled Hendricks after the fifth inning and let Strickland start the 6th. Horrible game from Trouty but I like the fight this team has been showing let’s get this next series!!
I think I may be to blame for this loss and all the random homers. I placed a Bet the Angels would win and Adell would homer😞
It really sucks to lose game 1 and 3 in this fashion. Neto, Schanuel, Detmers, Soriano, and O’Hoppe are the future. O’Hoppe just gotta stay more consistent. Christian Moore definitely has some potential but as for now he’s striking out too much. We still have the second pick next month so the future is bright for the Halos.
Dadgummit, I hate when a comeback comes up just short.
Neto should be batting third. Trout or Ward 4th. They played two 1st place teams tough and I think that’s a good positive to take away at least!
Frustrating loss but my god we were close. Let’s go destroy the Red Sox (except for the second game, we are going to be eaten alive by Crochet).
I think it’s safe to say that whatever we do at the deadline we have to improve on the roles that Newman/Kingery/etc. play. Improvements to the bench would help this team. Errors and lack of hitting from those role players are part of what lost the game.
