So we’re just gonna forget that awful stretch where Giannis was out and Bobby was suspended just like that huh

  1. for the crowd that is okay with getting rid of Bobby…

please tell me what your plan is for the 5 this year?

Besides Giannis and Bobby, the only player currently under contract and over 6’10 is Pete Nance, who is on a two-way contract.

  2. Hey remember when Bobby got ejected in the first 4 minutes of a game we desperately needed to win?

  3. The trade scenario was Moses Moody, Trayce Jackson-Davis, and a 2026 1st Round pick swap for Bobby.

I don’t know about yall, but that seems like a very solid deal to me.

  4. Bobby’s a great scorer off the bench. He’s also a good energy guy. But his defense is almost nonexistent. I have no issue with him sticking around this coming year, but please fellow Bucks fans, don’t overestimate his value. If another team wants to give us some good rebuild pieces, it might be worth Horst listening to the offer.

  5. Tbf, many times when he played and was awful. His defense which can be miserable at times has seemingly gotten worse and his offense has become very inconsistent plus his shooting percentage has gone down too. I mean there were times when he was borderline unplayable. There would be games hed drop like 23 and 11 which is awesome but then there’d be 4 games before that where he’s dropping like 6 and 2. I’m not saying the answer is to trade him but if someone is interested in trading for him, Id definitely want to hear what they have to say.. Current Bobby is different than year 1 Bobby. His impact is not what it was. I’m not really sure what Bobby’s suspension and Giannis being out has to do with what the guy tweeted lol but ok.

  6. Bobby looked lost against the pacers, and he’s a decent trade piece. If he isn’t providing on offense he can be useless because he wasn’t defending or rebounding. Wouldn’t be mad at keeping him though

  7. I might trade Bobby for any of the three of those, but certainly for all 3.

  8. Horst being bad at his job and other guys being short doesnt make him actually useful, it just makes him marginally less useless than the other options on the roster.

  9. you’ll pry Bobby from my cold dead hands

(i know we’ll have to move him eventually but damn i’ll miss my mayor)

  10. As a Bobby fan, I’m all for this. Seems to be a good deal for all parties involved if he opts in and lets the trade happen.

  11. So Bobby opts in, goes to a place where he’d pay higher taxes and have a higher cost of living, and probably makes less money than he would by opting out? And we get a very good return package? Pardon me for being just a little skeptical.

  12. I am very torn about letting BP go. He brings legit offense and is still a big body for us on boards even if his defense is not his calling card. And of course he’s become a leader in the locker room and brings the heart and soul to the team and the city. If it is time to move on, so be it but we definitely need something tangible in return because he means a lot to the Bucks, and not just as a fan favorite.

I was at a Warriors game in SF two seasons ago. Jackson-Davis was going all out playing D on Giannis. Of course it’s not sustainable but I was impressed. If the Milwaukee to GS pipeline continues, he would be one of the pieces that would be interesting to me. Of course there would have to be more than that to get a proven scorer like BP.
