[Windhorst] KD kept rejecting trades until the price got so low that the Rockets couldn’t say no. Essentially both pushed his way to Houston and made sure they got him for pennies.

15. Rockets did soooo well here. They gave up a negative contract, a pick that probably wouldn’t have gotten much game time, and a very good perimeter defender that they themselves can replace internally anyway. KD now gives them an offensive punch that is unguaradble.

    Very interested to see how they fare next season.

    As long as the player says he won’t sign an extension with a new team, the current team won’t trade them 99 times out of 100.
