V.J. Edgecombe to the Wizards? | Ringer NBA

i think the Wizards are kind of stationing themselves as like rockets east with a lot of young developing defensive talent all across the positional spectrum and I can definitely see them you know kind of maybe doing a little bit of consolidation or just kind of trading a little bit further down the road to secure a guy like VJ Edgecomb who would kind of bring another insanely athletic playmaking guard who can kind of crystallize their vision maybe in a similar way that Amen Thompson did for for the Houston Rockets washington even though they’ve had um buzzards luck in terms of uh you know getting in position to take a differencemaker um I was telling Zack Law I was like I feel it’s it sucks cuz I feel like they’ve hit on their picks they’re just not getting the separating talent

  1. Amen Thompson wasn’t just the best athlete in his draft, he and his brother immediately became the best athletes in the league. VJ has some pre injury Oladipo to his game… but let’s not compare him to a Thompson twin.

  2. They’ve hit on their picks, but still haven’t done the full turn. Poole still makes them an unserious team. Getting off Kuzma was def the right move. They need to start getting serious about culture and winning with these picks, or they’re all just gonna be another Deni Avdji. A dude that was an afterthought on the Wiz, but looks like a blossoming star on the Blazers.
