peek at our pitching matchup and it will be Jameson Tyion squaring off against Michael McGrevy tyion a 384 RA his 86 and two/3 innings leads the team mcgrevy is one of their top prospects and a guy who was a former first round pick stands in he’s been on quite a home run binge eight in his last 16 games and we’re ready to roll here in St louis don’t be afraid to open up the gates let’s go people and McGrevy delivers yeah the first one in there for his strikes as Paul Clemens and we are underway 2-1 lined into center field that’s a base hit kyle Tucker with a one out knock succeeded at a higher rate back to the mound mcgrevy up with it throws to Donovan at second and one on the first and that’s two it’ll go one four and three 3-2 right through there got him perles is gone and Tyion gets him one two three including the punch out a nine pitch inning for Jameson Tyion end of one there’s no score in St louis one and one on Bush hit hard and Petrus flags it down gets it to McGreini and a one two three to the Cubs i do not remember that the one two on the ground swanson base hit gainsby couldn’t quite pick it up big turn for Wilson but he’ll stay put but PCA and that rocket arm a leadoff single on two drilled in the air right field that one is deep tucker is at the wall and a headlock is gone deep into the bullpen and a home run ball Jameson Ty again for Newar his 11th and it’s two nothing Cardinals the Cardinals who have struggled to slug all season long ball is rated as the best curve ball or the most valuable curve ball in the game pitch lined into right field and a they’re loaded and here comes Cal Tucker he won’t chase line drive base hit out into right center field that’s going to tie the game corner is in shaw’s on his heels pat races to third kyle Tucker delivers 22 on a solid single he has thrived on the road his slugging percentage away from Wrigley has been phenomenal swing in a drive left field that’s back that’s gone and that slugging percentage on the road will continue to climb sea Suzuki is 21st and just like that the Cubs have a 52 lead leaderboard and they’ve been going back and forth in that department it’s a 92 mph fast ball trying to run it in on his hands i’m assuming he left it out over the heart of the plate happy happy joy joy swanson pops this one up right side contras chases Jose Javier out of the coach’s box and makes the catch left field the line drive slapped into left 02 highf fly ball left field suzuki is back back some more near the wall and it’s [Music] win with a two-run homer it is number seven of the Cardinals are within one [Applause] six home runs last night and tonight for the Cardinals and they’ve all come with a man on base mark Terry here’s a 3-2 that’s ball four [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so two and that’s going to chase home a couple in to score is PZ scott on his heels a two-run double for win and it’s 75 fly ball center field pete Pro Armstrong measuring it back at the wall and he makes the catch and he loses track of how many outs there are here’s the throw to the plate too late to win comes all the way around a brain cramp for PCA man thought it was the third out of the inning the last couple innings they’ve been out there a long time but you got to know how many outs there are and we’re going to get a good look at it here wind tagging up oh he might have left early trey is down on strikes the Cardinals have the lead it’s 85 that one lined out into right field in a base hit say it hammers it knocked down by Ronaldo picks it back up and it’s safe at first man he almost turned in in the air left field that one falling berles sliding and he makes the catch and he saves a hit and probably two runs of segment two there’s something damning about segment two I feel like yeah the segment where you go what do you remember about JD and there the people are like what who a 5-2 lead swanson top spins one into left and a leadoff single that is in the air left field nbar back Newbar near the wall he leaps and that one is gone mo her first of the year and the Cubs are within one we have liftoff porter circles the bases for the first time mo finally off the schneide through the right side and a base hit be throwing a monkey wrench into my theory the 2-1 popped up swanson going out dansby nico it’ll be Nico [Applause] [Music] yeah that’s a little weird ball four and Tucker will take his base hammered fair ball down the line kicks off the sidewall tucker around second on his way to third and he’s in and it’ll be the one but it out in front of the mound and picking it up is Romero and Tucker throws and all it does is move Suzuki down to second a wonder to Dansby in the air down the right side berles into foul ground up near the net end did he make the catch he says he did and they’re calling it an out alec Berles spectacular grab caleb Thebar won the fieldbar nukebar matchup last time first pitch swinging here nukebar and Swanson throws him out and Drew Pomerance gets him one two three had a base hit into left field and Nicoer runner goes throw down to second good job by Brandon Donovan to stop that one from going into the outfield on the ground to short win will gobble it up and throw out Kelly cubs get Jordy then with the single and the steel that one sliced down into left field suzuki grabs it [Applause] and Gorman on the ground is short swanson to second for one return to first two and Presley gets out of it we’ll go to the ninth last chance for the The one line drive into center field that is scorched for a base hit and the tying run is on two- two swag and a miss struck him out 01 line out into right center field that’s a base hit tucker around second racing for third they’ll hold him there pca a single and the Cubs still alive first and third with two outs third two down chop towards third aronado on the bare hand wow what a play by the 10 time Gold Glover he is something else and the Cardinals hang on to one at 87 [Applause]
