Tucker is up avoiding complete control of this ball game. Now, it’s been a perfect set up for him on this hot steamy night. Plenty of time to rest. What a play and that ends the inning dazzling defensive play by Niko Horner. I would say this is quite a Cardinals debut for Garrett Hampson. Wouldn’t you starting the game playing center field batting ninth? And Then coming in to be your Chevy call to the bullpen chip. He does have one other pitching outing under his belt through a scoreless inning for the Royals a year ago and three pitches will take care of the three pitches, three outs for Garrett Hampson, Victor Scott the second batting line. One, Bush grabs it, throws to second for one and Michael with a couple of sparkling plays here tonight. Cubs really flash the leather here tonight. A complete game. Right. Great at bats. Plenty of slug great pitching and outstanding defense who down the ninth inning Cubs on the threshold of a very important win over to first bus to porter touches the ball game Cubs win. They put an end to the losing streak and tomorrow they will go for the split against the Redbirds.
