Red Sox vs. Angels Game Highlights (6/25/25) | MLB Highlights

The Angels get into position for a sweep today and you say cucci has been pretty durable of late. He’s been really, really good this entire season. 2 to 1 at home with a 131, a Angels pitchers have posted 102 strikeouts in the last 10 games. That is the most in the major leagues over the last 10 games by any strikeout starts today. What you say about strikeouts, prognosticator here. Now, Jaren Duran left handed hitter, the pitch to him hit sharply to drop it and Duran will be safe at first. You see where Kingery is that ball ramp off of the mound like that, give him that tough in between hop he couldn glove it clean reaction. It will be an Romi Gonzalez is the batter here, one ball and two strikes. Durant with a big lead. Now at first he does go, the pitch is into right field, that’s a base hit a run and hit to perfection. Duran is over to third and the Red Sox in business here in the first that was not planned but a beautiful inside out swing for roaming and the Red Sox have them at 1st and 3rd for carlos Narvaez and this is popped up foul behind the plate has a play make the catch on that one. That is a big out runners have to hold will be the next batter that was all over the strike zone. Walked off the mound thinking that was going to be strike three Allen porter. The home plate umpire dismissed that one gets another chance. 2 to 2 That one a little bit upstairs. Now full count will send Gonzalez in motion trying to keep a zero on the board for Boston 3 to 2 way inside a walk and loads him up for Trevor story. Very, very big pitch here. Now with story with his power, this is really nice. I mean he gets 34 seamers in a row to go down one and two gets that hanging curveball, fights it off, fastballs in fights him off, just saw the first change up of the at bat and fought it off again. One and two. The story pace is loaded so stressful first inning for KCI is trying to leave those bases loaded pitch is ripped into left field. That’s the base hit. Durant scores Roy behind him. What an at bat for Trevor two runs single. Now the Red Sox do break through in the first and they lead it two to nothing. That’s one of the great at bats of the year in a spot they really needed it sigh of relief to drive into. It takes seven more pitches onto the pitch count of KCI on a day where their bullpen is not very deep and obviously keeps the rally going for one of your hottest hitters here, Zedan is really thinking about delivering a haymaker right here. Pitch 31 in the inning. It’s bounced by the mound right out near second. It’s stopped there by Moore. He’ll just walk on over to second base for the force out. That’s got just hammered by these Angels in his last start. Obviously, he was feeling something but he has this white hot in his brain and he sprinted out of that first base dugout. The second inning Angels have the line moving here hit by a pitch, a free pass to Trout putting Taylor Ward in RB, I spot runners go ground ball. That’s fair sliding stab by Gonzalez will get the out at first as the runners move up to 2nd and 3rd. He hit nine home runs this month. So it’s all about Griffin and ripping for joe Adell 2nd and 3rd with two away and he got him the chase one that was high and outside a sweep struck him out. Angels will leave a pair Red Sox lead the Angels 2 to 0 a half hour inning. The Red Sox take a pitch chased and missed and Myers, a strikeout victim gets his second strikeout in this ball game is in there for strike three called goes down and he strikes out for the second time in this ballgame and strikes out the side one, 2 to 3. Boston with a 2 to 0 lead , two unearned runs in the first inning. Strikes out on a slider Socis fan four in a row five strike out in the game seems similar to his last start against the Astros gave up those two runs in the first and Then they didn’t touch him after that gets right through into center field is on with a base hit Red Sox have their third hit against the left hander. And now William Bre who drew a walk in the first balls and two strikes swing and a miss and is racking up the strikeouts that six already. Richard fits on the mound against Christian Moore. 12 pitch has got on and miss 98 a right hook from Fitz for his third k of the afternoon, two down in the 3rd 32 pitches on the outside corner called strike three Fitz Dos. The edge punch is out, Mike Trout story with a base hit in the first inning score. Durant and Gonzalez swing and a miss as curveball took care of story there with seven strikeouts. Gets another punch out. That is eight serious work here today. Four seam fastball, 96 get the hitters looking off speed, got the express has been a menace in the month of June 9 home runs 16 for the year Fitz struck him out in the first a fly ball left center field pretty well. Durant is going to watch it the 10th home run this month for joe Adell. 0 to 2 pitch 108 off the bat for joe Adell. Second time he’s taken him deep. Now, the offense, the Angels cut the Red Sox lead to the that would be a belly to belly wade back to back pitches tie game Travis star fourth home run of the season starts from where first inning trouble does not keep him from quickly settling in afterwards. Swing and a miss the ninth strikeout for KCI. Another slider, another swing and miss three straight starts with nine strikeouts or more for Kuchi tight slider working over his last three starts. That’s why you see the punchouts increasing. There’s the 10th strikeout today for you another slider, third punch out for Snyder today, 10 strikeouts in four and two thirds innings tight spin on that slider again, 12 pitch and that’s a wave and a miss and has struck out the side and he already has 11 strikeouts out of the 15 outs against the Red Sox so far today, two walks in the inning of each come on, four pitch walks Trouts on Angels now with runners at 1st and 2nd 2 away and now a base hit around third Christian Moore heads for the plate. Raffaella drops the ball Moore scores easily and joe Adell’s second RB. I gives the Angels their first lead today. Flat swing for joe Adell back up the middle. It was a 98 mile an hour fastball back up to hard about 111 off the bat. Odell is here. Is Darna. He homered last inning balls, two strikes and darn with a looping fly ball to left that’s going to get down a base hit, threw his bat at it. He brings Trout home. Adle tries for third. He’s safe and the Angels lead it 4 to 2 with a and all four making contact with travis D on that one ties broken. The halos are up by two really settled in and Then it is going to be a quick inning. The inning is over on only six pitches and that’s the 10th straight red sox batter retired. The table is set for the top of the order and with an infield hit Kingry bunt his way on batter is mike Drout two out in the inning with the two runners on. Trout is 0 to 1 with a pair of walks today inside out swing and a base hit to right around third comes home. Mike Trout puts one in play and gets a run batted in the Angels lead it 5 to 2. That’s a big add on run. Trout able to fight that one off. Sometimes a swing like that could get you going. That’s the case for Trout. Nice day. For you KCI shaking off those two UN runs in the first inning to post 11 strikeouts to make it through six and taking them out here in the seventh inning ground ball over third with the backhand sets his feet and tires it across for the out 11 straight retired by Kuci and 18 of the last 19 have been set down. There is the 12th strikeout for Kuchi, the lob to first for the out a new season high for you. 12 punchouts. Great curveball for one of his career high. This is hit high in the air and waiting for it to come down is the right fielder. That’s Lamont Wade Junior. That’s probably it will be back out for the eighth inning goes seven retires. The final 13 batters in a row, we start things off in the ninth inning. Angels up 5 to 2. Boston with only two runs on three hits today against pitching can get back to 500 again today and a swing and a miss by Narvaez is the first out here in the top of the ninth slider there from, that’s in their strike three. Got the benefit of that call. That fourth team a little bit above the zone back to back strikeouts to start the ninth brings up story who is responsible for those two RBIs in the first inning looping liner, shallow left war comes in sliding play but he trapped it. Ward thinks he caught it the call on the field is no catch. This is a crew chief review. Taylor Ward pretty surprised that was called a hit. That’s going to be a game ending play. Taylor Ward comes in on a sliding play. Hangs on to the baseball after the call is over that say good night to the Red Sox. It’s a clean sweep and without a clean slate, the Angels are back to 500. You got to love that.

    アデル~HR&タイムリー✴️アデルが打つと梅雨気分もスカッと晴れるよ😄ありがとー✌️

  3. Great job getting the score right Angels and not putting yesterdays score on it.

Edit: great job though sweeping anyone is hard enough but sweeping the red Sox and putting them below .500 ball, now that's respectable. I hope they keep the momentum to go for a chance at the wildcard

  4. Kikuchi is a BEAST at Home. Six Earned Runs TOTAL so far this season at Angel Stadium… I was so relieved he got some offensive support and got the win he truly deserved. Bullpen solid AGAIN, clutch hitting and yeah back to .500!! Just ANOTHER Halo Victory!

  5. 素晴らしい試合内容で、早起きして見てよかった。ナショナルズとの三連戦も期待してます。

  6. Kikuchi said he decided to join the Angels because he wanted to contribute to the team, so I’m happy to see him pitch such a great game today.🎉
