Why The Dallas Cowboys Coaching Staff Is Ranked Last In The NFL!

well well well i have told people on this channel over and over and over coaching matters the players matter too believe me but the coaching matters you have to get the right combination of coaches and players because if you don’t get the right combination I don’t care how talented your quarterback is i don’t care who you have on your defense if you don’t have the right coaches it is not going to work and John Fella over here on X he put together a ranking of all 32 NFL coaching trios that’s head coach OC and DC and there are some people who are up in arms because of where he has the Dallas Cowboys ranked well I’m going to tell you why maybe we should pump the brakes on being upset about where the Cowboys are ranked let’s talk Cowboys we’re about to talk facts welcome welcome welcome future now let’s talk facts the Cowboys coaching trio ranking let me tell you something about this whole this this Dallas Cowboys coaching staff this is one of the first things that got me excited about what the Joneses were doing it just looks it it just looked totally different from what they had did in the past as it pertained to hiring their coaches especially with Brian Shottimer and how handson he was interviewing all the coaches and you know them now they’re all on the same page it seems we got to see what happens in training camp but this I mean all the players have been talking about the energy of the coaches and man it has just been awesome because coaching matters and people keep thinking it’s all about Dak Prescott it is not about Dak Prescott i’m going to show you something when I looked at this particular list why this is one of these lists that I actually didn’t get mad about because this is one of the very reasons why I have been telling Dallas Cowboy fans to pump the brakes as well as the Dallas Cowboy haters pump the brakes dallas Cowboy fans for us to go to the Super Bowl brian Shottenheimr would do something that only two coaches have ever done go to the Super Bowl as a rookie head coach and again I’ve already pointed out when you look at those two head coaches they had already been a part of the team for years those teams the culture the the the teams everything was pretty much already built they already had a lot of great players i mean George Seafford to me is the greatest example of this i mean he literally stepped into a team that was basically on cruise control by the time Bill Walsh stepped away so when we think about all of these different things for Brian Shottenheimr to come in brand new culture all new coaches a whole bunch of new players and now we got to get this stuff on the field see what it looks like and then continue to tweak it with more players it is insane for people like Cam Newton to be talking about this is Dak Prescott’s last year do or die stop it dumb talk Dallas Cowboy fans this is not the year we need another year to continue to build this team next year I believe will be the year we go for the chip we’ll show flashes this year but this next year I believe will be the year we will win the chip i think we’re going to show flashes double-digit wins will not be surprised at the playoffs win a playoff game i will not be surprised at any of that but to ask Brian Shanheimer to win the Super Bowl in his first season I don’t think we understand what a monumental task that is took Jimmy three seasons to build it so we can’t be asking Brian to do it in one again it doesn’t mean I do not believe I believe that Brian’s going to have success but to be putting on Brian what some people are it’s crazy and I want to show you this list from John Forcella because I’m going to show you some things about this list that people are not pointing out and the reason why I’m not upset about the list so let me show you where they have the Dallas Cowboys ranked and boy there are some people there are some people a little bit up in arms about this but I’m not let me show you where they have the Cowboys ranked last now let me tell you why that doesn’t necessarily offend me now we wanted to we could move the Cowboys up i mean I’m sure that we could find a team in there like Titan I mean the Titans we could easily say well surely the Cowboys are better than them and I do think the Cowboys are better than the Titans i think the Cowboys going to win more games than the Titans surely the Cowboys are are are better than the Saints we’re going to win more games than the Saints i think we’re going to win more games than the Jaguars the Falcons the Jets the Cardinals i think we’re going to win more games than them a lot of these teams we’re going to win more games than the Giants but I want you to think about if I’m just looking at this list without hearing a long explanation if I’m looking at this list from John Fella I don’t have to have explained to me guys this is Brian Shottenheimr’s first year as a head coach clayton Adams first year if I’m not mistaken as an as a as an OC and he’s really not going to be the OC per se and then Matt Eberlu who has been a defensive coordinator before so he does have some experience but when you add this all up together this is why I keep telling Cowboy fans pump the brakes we have an entirely new coaching staff i think I think the only coach that’s not new is what the tight end’s coach this is an entirely new coaching staff so we got to let them like get this on the field this is preliminary this is why I’m not tripping on this this is preliminary talk we haven’t seen Shotimer coach one down as a head coach adams we don’t know what the run game looks like yet with Adams with the Dallas Cowboys we don’t know what the defense looks like yet with IAFloops do I think everything’s going to be a going successful man get him got Dak Prescott as the quarterback man we brought in George Pickings man we got CD Lamb man we got Cavante Turpin man we got Jake Ferguson man we went and got Tyler Booker tyler Booker cooper BB up front i mean Tyler Smith I call them the triangle when you look at the triangle we are going to be able to run the ball tyler Giden Terence Steel we’ll see how they put this all together the Cowboys can rearrange that line with what they have and they can be great but I still have to see it on the field and I flu has some downright pieces man we finally have a defense that’s not just Michael Parsons now we have a defense of Dante Fowler Donovan Esaku Sam Williams for man for goodness sake man he looks from everything we’ve seen man he looks a lot faster we got a few questions out there in the in the defensive back field but again I think Kyrie is going to turn out to be a stud savone Revel Jr I think he’s going to be great for the Cowboys as the season go we’ll see what happens when we get Trayvon Diggs back we got to see what they’re going to do with Maris Bell will he be able to move into the safety position one Thomas maybe playing nickel and some safety but all of that being said success the potential for success is written all over this team but the issue is we have to get it on the field first and so the Cowboys being ranked as the number 32nd or the 32nd ranked uh coach trio doesn’t offend me doesn’t offend me cuz we haven’t seen it on the field but I’ll tell you this I’m excited about the Cowboys coaches but when I look at this list it also tells me something else cowboy fans y’all better believe that coaching matters let me show you something that I that that I find to be so so powerful about this list that John Forcella put together over here on X man y’all go follow him boy this is a great list i want to I want to show you something that’s strange that I don’t find to be strange chiefs Reed Naggie Spags Super Bowl they’ve won multiple Super Bowls kansas City been to what three in a row rams McVey Laflur Schula well we’ve already seen McVey win a Super Bowl commanders Quinn Kingsbury Wit i don’t know if I’d have this rank I don’t know I’d have them ranked at number three based off of one based off of one season but nevertheless Quinn’s been to a Super Bowl quinn got the Commanders to the NFC Championship game i would actually put the Eagles above the Commanders but you want to know what they have you want to know what’s strange this is why I say the Commanders I wouldn’t put them in number three but the Eagles Sirriani Patulo Fangio Super Bowl you want to see something else 49ers Shanahan QVX Solo Super Bowl no notice what you saw in the top five four Super Bowl coaches four Super Bowl coaches coaching matters and as you keep going down you know what you notice playoff teams that’s why I wouldn’t put the commanders at number three you got the Bills McDermott Brady and Babage playoffs Vikings U KOC Phillips Flores playoffs Packers Laflur Stinovic Hafley playoffs Chargers Harbar Roman Mentor playoffs Broncos Payton Lombardi Joseph uh they will be in the playoffs this year i guarantee you but again if you just go down the line you notice and that’s why I wouldn’t have the Chargers as high i would actually have the Ravens higher than the Chargers but again I don’t know why they keep overhyping Justin Herbert who hasn’t done anything but Ravens Harbaugh Monk or playoffs Ravens I mean Texans Ryans Kaye Burke you notice playoffs Bengals Taylor Pitcher Golden being to a Super Bowl i’m telling you i’m telling you coaching matters coaching absolutely matters now if we wanted to could we move the Cowboys i could move the Cowboys easily above the Patriots i could easily move the Cowboys above the Bears even the Seahawks even the Dolphins i mean we can move them up there because I believe the Cowboys will be better than those teams but the issue is we have not seen the combination yet we have not seen the combination yet of the Cowboys we haven’t seen what they’re going to look like yet even though I believe they’re going to look good but I’m telling you this list doesn’t bother me in the least it proves something to me though coaching matters and I’ve been saying this coaching matters and this is why I’m so happy with the coaches that we have now because I believe that these coaches that we have right now this is to me in totality and combination it is the best coaching staff to me since Jimmy Johnson i don’t think Parcel’s coaching staff was this good i don’t think that um Mike McCarthy’s coaching staff I definitely don’t think it was this good this to me on paper is the best coaching staff I’ve seen since Jimmy Johnson so I am very excited to get this coaching staff on the field so we can see exactly what it’s going to be but again this number 32 ranking does not bother me at all but y’all tell me what y’all think dallas Cowboy fans I know that we could easily be at number 15 what was that we could easily be at number 18 if we if if we’re just really being honest we’re better than a lot of those teams just already I believe but we still got to get some games under our belt let’s get some games played i believe the Cowboys realistically are probably around number 18 but I am not mad at John Forcella for putting us at number 32 cuz we haven’t seen it on the   1. Who's saying Shotty is gona win the super bowl this year? Smh Cmon now G dont put that on the fans, any fan with half a brain should be wiser than to think that. Im not accusing you but there's been a few times that you mentioned it could happen on your show, but i know you were just excited about getting Pickens, you had another cup of that blue kool aid so im giving you a pass 😂😂 All jokes aside everyone needs to calm down all we know is whats on paper right now not whats on the field.   6. As a Staff this unit hasn't done anything yet as Cowboy coaches. You can't do anything but rank them last. They have to prove their worth. But they won't be in last place as the season goes on!

  12. Man them coaches get paid too. Ok Dallas coaching staff prime opportunity now to be better than the coaching staff of your opponent every week. Screw that ranking, seems like a shoe fits wear it thing. They got the necessary players at almost every position, use them, put the best players on the field, play to their strengths and put them in positions to be successful and everything else will work itself out which could be a SB, not like it's impossible, only two teams get there with one winner, small margin of error, just have to be better every week. Score tds in the RedZone, exploit the opponents weaknesses, take advantage of those double teams, run the ball on opponents that can't stop the run! That ranking can only be because it's their first time together as a group. Schotty has to come out from under the umbrella that McCarthy left that didn't stop the rain!

  18. Even Barry Switzer knew coaching mattered, that`s how he made his money. Back in 1994, after the Cowboys lost the NFC conference title game, Barry Switzer was coaching the NFC squad in the Pro Bowl, eating a hot dog on the sidelines during the game. That`s what you can do as a coach. Eat a hot dog on the sidelines during a game. Coaching matters. Ask Barry Switzer.

  32. Jerry is too arrogant to hire a GM. If the cowboys do well he wants all the credit. Thats why Jimmy Johnson left. Johnson, in my opinion built the best team in history, not Jones. As a Cowboy fan they havent done crap in 30 years

  33. You speak the truth. Only time (games) will vindicate any actions, remarks, comments, and off-season acquisitions. Vegas has us at 7.5 games for 2025, hmmmmm. I promise you all half thru the season the "whole" perception of the Cowboys externally and internally will change. I do think we have a "great" couching staff based on what they have done (acquisition and mindsetinitial philosophy) so far. The next phase is the intallation of technique, game plans, time management, player observation and development, 53 man roster, then gm 1, the 2,3,4,5,6,7. Then, we can evaluate and make an assessment of Shorty's administration. Till then, let's enjoy the ride, appreciate the Jones for not taking us for granted as fans, listen to 3 letter networks wash us down and mark their words, cause who knows???? I do have a feeling someone is gonna eat crow though.

  35. On paper, the Cowboys have fire power on both sides of the ball. Now that's on paper. Troy Aikman found the humor in all 32 teams after mini camp lol being world beaters. And when the season starts they find out their perspective teams aren't that good like they were on "paper"

  36. G TO BE HONEST Terrence Steele is the weakest link on the offensive Line # he can't pass Block to save his career. Hopefully he can Improve but what I am saying is best believe Philadelphia Eagles knows about this mismatch.
