My wife and I love watching press conferences after a Thunder game and his was amazing after Game 1’s loss. Both Julius and himself were at the podium and they were asking normal questions. Randle was DEFLECTING. Dude wasn’t looking straight, looking dejected, and not taking blame.
Ant took those questions like a man. You could tell that he was dejected but still assuming the role of a leader. He didn’t deflect blame or give rage bait answers. I then heard that he was up until 3am watching film (doesn’t everybody???) and if I recall he dropped 30 that next game. Still a loss….but huge improvement.
I understand why he’s marketed as the future of the league. You want a player like Ant on your team.
Edit: should not have included a quip about his personal life
when his team wins its “we won” but when his team loses its “i lost”

Fans take losing way worse than the actual players and it’s always so funny, like Ant isn’t crying about refs or free throws he’s just saying “we got our ass whooped” and moving on, that’s how players view the game, fans are the ones who stay salty
Did he have one for GS? Kinda funny all our series ended in 5 after meming on the Lakers in round 1
He’s legitimately hilarious. He’s also given SGA a lot of props the past couple years despite their rivalry.
