Teddye Buchanan is a Rookie to Watch in Training Camp | Baltimore Ravens Final Drive

there are not many starting jobs on this Ravens team up for grabs the roster is really solid when you look at it from top to bottom and it’s going to be tough for young players to crack the rotation on this team but a rookie to watch closely this summer is fourth round linebacker Teddy Buchanan he had a breakout season last year at Cal put up 114 tackles five and a half sacks and he’s looked good during the offseason practices here in Baltimore he’s competing for snaps at that weak side linebacker spot next to Rocoan Smith trenton Simpson has the edge on that starting job at the moment but Buchanan is a talented player who could carve out a nice role for himself i’ve liked what I’ve seen from him both on and off the field and he’s someone who has a really great understanding of the history of this Ravens defense that means something to him and he talked about that when he joined us this week for an episode of the Lounge Podcast like I I have the chance to to to prove myself and to you know continue this legacy and you know when you have guys like that like you have no choice but to step up your game and elevate you know how you play so I feel like that’s only going to make me a better player and you know at the Ravens like it means something to be a linebacker and that’s something I’ve heard and something I I’ve noticed and felt so um yeah I feel like that’s only going to push me to be a better player i really enjoy the conversation with Teddy i think it just gave us a better perspective of how he operates and his mindset going into this season you can check that out wherever you get your podcast you can also watch it on YouTube and the Ravens mobile app and our website that’s it for me on Final Drive thanks for watching we’ll see you again tomorrow [Music]
