2. I absolutely cannot believe we got JJ for Kess, Doan, and nothing else.

   Edit: GUYS WE DIDNT EVEN GIVE UP THE 4TH PICK. I honestly can’t believe they didn’t even pick swap, at the very least.

3. I know Kesselring and Doan have become fan favorites in Utah, but this feels like a great deal for us.

4. Might be time for me to jump ship, granted the ship in question has sunk long ago (Sabres fan) but I love JJ. And I can’t believe Utah fleeced us so easily.

9. Sounds pretty good…. As an NHL novice, can someone explain this for me in NBA terms?

10. I love Kess, but there’s a lot of defensemen – some of them elite – on the UFA tracker this summer. We’ve got a decent amount of cap space and should be able to replace Kess. I think getting a great top 6 winger in exchange and locking him in was a great swap here.

    And I like Doan, but his ceiling just isn’t as high.

11. So who is 1st line peterka or Gunner? I’m wondering if we will trade peterka for a true 1C
