surprised Tamar Bates, Sion James and to a lesser extent Ryan Nembhard went undrafted
Edit: totally missed sion James going to the hornets, great pickup for them
Winners:
* ESPN’s ad sales team
Losers:
* Fans who wanted to see the picks as they happened
Everyone got some massive steals this draft
Now we wait for summer league?
Who did the Lakers draft?
Nuggets clearly won this draft

My Hornets actually cooked I can’t believe it
Pelicans and Nets really looking like losers.
At the same time I’m rooting for their players to work out bc if they do hit they’ll be really fun, entertaining characters in the NBA
Why did RJ Luis declare for the draft lmao
Add Dink Pate to the list of players that Adam Silver owes an apology to for lying that the G League route would be better than going to college.
Dixon not getting drafted is criminal. Especially for teams like the Knicks reaching down taking an 80+ projected pick w 5ppg. Dude was the leading scorer in all of college basketball and would fit right in with the Nova guys
Winner: Australia
Awesome to see 4 Aussies get drafted, hopefully they get a chance to contribute.
stoked with spurs draft to be able to draft harper and then get with a bit of luck Bryant at number 14 pick in the draft as well. awesome to see 4 Aussie players get drafted as well .
> Moncia McNutt
Interesting variety of nationalities in this year’s draft board. Never thought I’d see an English player on the list, congrats to him.
Proud of the four Aussies who got drafted today.
My Suns kinda cooked this draft not gonna lie. I think we’ll be fun to watch next year, hoping we bring back CP3 as a bench option
OK we are going to develop this Taelon Peter into an All-Star in the future.
I’m still so fucking incensed we picked Broome
Adou Thiero seems like such a freaking steal for the Lakers, and they traded up like 20 spots solely for cash
I can’t be the only one who thinks ESPN’s draft coverage this year was absolutely horrible. Spending 20 minutes covering Flagg then pretty much segmenting to “oh yeah, the Spurs drafted Dylan Harper, now back to Flagg,” that alone told me what we were getting this year.
I believe Amari Williams was drafted during an ad break, so by draft rules he is the next Nikola Jokic.
Yang Gang we here
Really optimistic about our draft this year.
I didn’t think we’d reach for Kon at 4 but I went into the draft thinking he’d be one of the best players when all is said and done.
Mcneeley was a huge recruit out of high school who I thought showed a lot of flashes at UCONN and fits the NBA well right now so I think he’s a steal at 29.
Sion could be a really solid role player.
I don’t know much about the Creighton big but we needed one and he was productive.
I think these pieces will help Ball and Miller a lot. We should be plucky next year. Could be one of the best young teams in the league. Almost every key player is under 24 and I’m stoked about it

FYI I’ve got a roster tracker [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/1liz9w6/2025_nba_offseason_roster_tracker/). I’d like some people to look it over to see if everything looks correct for their favorite teams after the draft.
