Orlando Magic move up to take Noah Penda #nba #nbadraft #orlandomagic
this is Philip Prosman Reich the host of Locked on Magic here at the Advent Health Training Center as the Orlando Magic make the big move of the second round trading up sending four second round picks to acquire Noah Penda from France played in Le Man in uh in the in the French league this is a a a move that feels very reminiscent of what the Magic usually do noah Penda is a longarmed athletic defensive player with questionable but improving shooting shooting statistics he’s someone that had late first round early second round grades and obviously second pick of the second round he is a very very talented prospect and so the Magic add another one of their types to the roster but it’s really what this move signals it’s another it’s another moment where the Magic have aggressively pursued a player that they want they did this with Desmond Bane uh a couple weeks ago to add and bolster their start add and bolster their starting lineup they’ve done that here with Noah Penda now whether Penda makes the roster that’s going to be up to him it does seem like the Magic are going to use a roster spot on him they’re going to keep him on the roster and try and develop them that way but the Magic have again made an aggressive move to get a guy that they like that’s all you can really ask for on draft night and the cost four second round picks ain’t going to make anyone lose any sleep
The Orlando Magic again chased their guy. They moved up to take Noah Penda in the second round.

Looking quite dapper this evening Mr. Philip
We gave up all them picks…for Penda….not Rasheer…not raynaud…but….penda….Weltman needs to just stay away from the draft
I’m tired of our type… maybe this signals they will move on from isaac. 4 -2nd rounders sounds like another over post good Lawd
do we know if they're planning on changing any of the coaches+training staff?
Idk how that’s going to work out, the Orlando magic is a fast roster now, and penda moves very very slow and I can see right away it’s a huge problem.
I was hoping Magic would select Maxime Raynaud. 20ppg, 7'1, 10rb. Magic should've upgraded the center position.
Weltman just couldn’t help it lol
Weltman was one of the reasons the Bucks drafted Giannis. Maybe he sees something in him Idk
It’s reminding me of Okeke for some reason, but it’s not a lottery pick
