what’s going on everyone chris from pickdogs.com here with your free pick in the Los Angeles Angels versus Washington Nationals Major League Baseball matchup going down Friday June 27th 2025 just a reminder if you haven’t already make sure you subscribe to our channel and smash that thumbs up and if you’re looking for my best bets the games that I love head to pickdogs.com and click the experts tab at the top of the page it’s a great time to do so we have a lot of action lined up for the week ahead we’ve got Major League Baseball and WNBA on the board even though it is the dark days of summer there’s still plenty of action to be had plenty of money to be made so make sure that you jump on board remember to use the promo code pick at checkout and get 15% off your purchase and uh we are also extremely excited that we hit our goal of 250,000 subscribers here on our YouTube channel i appreciate each and every one of you that helped us get us to where we are today uh but if you haven’t already hit that subscribe button by now please do so and if you did hit that subscribe button you know that we appreciate it if you’re new to our channel I promise you we’re going to make you some money handover fist so welcome and let’s get right to it let’s get to this matchup between the Los Angeles Angels and the Washington Nationals for the Los Angeles Angels it’s Jose Soraniano listed as the starter in this one while the Nationals will counter with Jake Irvin and Irvin’s been a tough pitcher I think for me to try to really you know get a finger on the pulse of this season because you know he still has some questionable numbers some bad expected numbers and just he’s a he’s a pitcher that you would think would get roughed up with some of the lineups that he plays but last time out he got the win at Dodger Stadium five and a third innings of two-run ball gave up six hits and they were a pair of solo home runs that he gave up he’s given up six home runs in his last four starts but his his team has been able to you know hang around i mean he gave up four runs against the Mets in a loss in five innings of work but also before that six runs on 10 hits over five innings of work against the Arizona Diamondbacks too so we’ve seen Irvin in a bunch of questionable situations on the other side you’ve got Jose Soraniano who in his last three starts has been really really good one one out shy against the Houston Astros last time out of having three straight starts of seven innings and one run or less um and he’s put up 28 strikeouts and no walks over that three start stretch all those starts have been victories for the Los Angeles Angels a 0.87 erra a 1.24 fib suggesting that maybe there’s a little bit luck to be sub one but a 1.24 fib is still extremely solid and I think that Soraniano could have another strong start here the Nationals in the last two weeks against righties have not been you know a horrible team to back but you know they’re still a team that I I don’t know if I love i mean they’re hitting just 232 against righties in the last two weeks that’s bottom 10 in baseball the team OPS numbers are just outside the bottom five the isolated power numbers could be better the Angels not too much farther ahead they’re actually hitting 223 they’re they have a less a lower average than the Nationals do and uh you know the team OPS numbers are just slightly better the isolated power numbers aren’t that much different either so you may sit here think well why is this line at minus 165 and I get it you know maybe it’s not that for everybody or it’s you know not everybody’s cup of tea but I still think the Angels find a way to get this win here because I do think that Soraniano is the better starter starting pitcher in this matchup and when you look at it even if the starters were to cancel each other out there’s really not much of a a similarity between the bullpens right now the Angels in the last seven days a 2.78 staff erra out of the bullpen that’s just outside the top five in baseball while the Nationals a 5.24 ERA puts him among the 10 highest in baseball over that over that seven-day stretch so I’m going to roll with the Angels here whether you take him on the the money line or the run line it’s your call here but either way it’s going to be the Angels for me at home in this one and that’s going to be my free pick but just a reminder if you haven’t already make sure you’re subscribed to our channel and smash that thumbs up and if you’re looking for my best bets you can find those at Pick Dogs Premium why your P dogs check out our betting tools they’re 100% free they’re the best betting tools in the business and tools that you want to make sure that you have in your back pocket when you’re making your best bets for the day’s action thanks for watching
