Rookie Conclude Offseason Program, Begin Important Break | Baltimore Ravens Final Drive

[Music] the Ravens wrapped up their mandatory mini camp last week which brought an end to the onfield work of the offseason practices now the offseason program did extend a little bit for the rookie class as they spent this week in Baltimore continuing to get ready for their first NFL season the rookies had a welcome to Baltimore day on Monday where they picked Crabs and Jimmy Seafood and got some insight from former NBA star and Baltimore local Rudy Gay they also spent time in the community with a hospital visit on Tuesday this week was really a chance for them to learn more about the Baltimore community and the fans who support this team now this week wrapped up the offseason program for the rookies so now they get a few weeks off before they’re due back here for training camp coming up on July 15th and this right now is an important time for the rookies yes they can visit home or take a vacation but they really know they have to hit the ground running when they arrive here for training camp next month and in talking with the rookies these guys are going to spend this time between now and camp ensuring that they can come back and get ready to make an impact on this team i’m encouraged by what I’ve seen from these rookies and some of them could end up playing vital roles for the team this year now training camp is going to be here before we know it and I cannot wait to see these guys get on the field now this is also a chance for us to get some downtime before the season begins so Final Drive is going to be off next week but we will be back on Monday July 7th thanks for watching have a great week and a wonderful Fourth of July thanks for watching see you soon [Music] [Music]

The rookies spent an extra week in Baltimore learning about the city, doing work in the community and preparing for their first NFL seasons.
