Giants vs. White Sox Game Highlights (6/27/25) | MLB Highlights
White Sox and Giants coming your way. White Sox are 5 to 0 on Friday home date, Aaron Vale on the mound for the Sox today. Looking for his first win with the Sox Giants come in at 44 and 37. The season worst 6.5 games off the pace set by the Dodgers and the Giants come in having lost three straight and eight of their last 11. Elliott Ramos will lead things off for San Francisco Ramos ready to hit first pitch swing and that one into the gap, it’s going to go all the way to the wall. I told you he’s done well as the Giants leadoff hitter. It’s a double on the very first pitch of the night and here’s Rafael Devers the Red Sox. And how about the heat from, gets his first punch out out number two. This was the big problem for the Giants during the home stand getting hits with runners in scoring position swing and a miss strike three. What a comeback. Good inning management for Aaron s leadoff man reach never got off second base, bottom one, nothing, nothing right hander Landon facing the Sox for the first time. 5 to 5 with a 367 continuing to get better. 76 innings, 70 strikeouts just 32 walks out. Number one, here’s chase the shortstop swinging a hard ground ball. It’s going to get into center field and Migros got a one out single first hit for the Sox that will bring up Andrew Benintendi. The heart of the lineup hits it hard. My avoids it and back to back singles here for the Sox in this first inning two on for Miguel Vargas, former Dodger really struggled against the Giants five for 40 in his career against San francisco. Pitching goes off the glove at short. It looked like he was already thinking about getting two and now here comes the rookie getting aggressive here in the first and the Sox take a 10 lead. He gets a line drive, it’s hit right at adam Willie for some reason, just can’t come up with it, Bailey on the tag but he’s too late. Number two right now. Just needs to get out of this inning. One pitch, a swing and a ground. All right to short down to a knee. Adam gloves it and a flip to wisely at the bag for the force out on Vargas ends the inning, a run for the White Sox. A couple of hits. Here’s Christian Ks had some of the best at bats for the Giants in yesterday’s game, had a couple of hits swing and a miss strike. Three stuff looks extra crispy tonight. Got three early strikeouts and after an inning and a half, one white sox the bottom of the second leading one to nothing Ryan no leads it off strike three called and with his first strikeout of the night, here’s Rojas playing third, a one out single here in the second inning. We bring up Michael A Taylor strikes out here on the curveball, pick up his second strikeout two gone now in the bottom of the second inning, Tuchman strikes out swinging. That was a good change up from Landon Roop bounces back nicely as he strikes out three in a scoreless bottom of the second time. So missed with it issues his second walk of the inning and here comes Wilmer now with two on and two out a ball down the third base line that’s going to score one is coming to third and he’ll pull up there will Flores into second with a double. The Giants have tied the game and the Giants make the white sox pay for those two walks and they’ve tied it up 1 to 1 here in the third inning. Takes outside ball, four missed with a fastball. It’s the third walk of the inning. This could be a game changing moment here big at bat coming up. Adam is going to hit now with the bases loaded swinging a high fly ball out in the deep right center Taylor circling. He’s got room and he makes a catch on the warning track and they leave him loaded. Christian Klas a couple of hits yesterday on the board with a hit here. Giants have a one out base runner hits a hard ground ball and it’s a fair ball glove by Vargas. He will step on first base. That’s the only out the white Sox will get nicely done by Vargas. It’s ball 42 on two out and now he’s got to face Ramos for the third time swing and a miss strike three on a cutter. Aaron s working very hard to get through four. He’s basically 80 pitches, four pitch walk to load the bases. It will load the bases with one out for Taylor in a 1 to 1 game here in the bottom of the fourth. See if Michael A is ready to go on pitch. Number one swings grounds it sharply right to Adam. He glove it to Wiseley for one over the first double play and on one pitch, Landon Roop gets out of it and Taylor that was Taylor made 643 gets out of it some wildness here in the inning from a hit batter on what would have been a ball for pitch anyway. And Then a walk that here comes Vargas with two on one out has to protect, rolls it over and play it. So the bases are now loaded and they ruled out a single big spot here for Kyle swings and misses strike three and that’s a big second out in the inning for Landon. Still one more out to get. And so has a hit in the game swing and a pop up behind the pitcher’s mound. It’s going to be Adam moving under it. He’s got it. And for the second straight inning escapes of bases loaded. One out jam keeps this game tied. Aaron Savalli is out of the game. Gives way to a left hander Tyler Alexander and a leadoff walk away. Struck out his first at bat singled in his second up the middle and it hits the bag and skips right, Sosa. So runners at 1st and 2nd now for Patrick Bailey Bailey to right field, sinking, sinking and a dive and a miss by Noah. It’s going to go to the wall. Adam rounds third, he’ll score right behind him. Christian cause he’ll score and over to third. Patrick Bailey, the Giants take a 3 to 1 lead. A line drive to right. No sprinting in tried to make the heroic play and he came up well short and two runs came home for the Giants swinging a ground ball up the middle by to get the out at first and Bailey stays at third. Ramos draws the walk and Devers is going to hit here in the sixth with runners at first and Devers takes outside. No, it’s a called third so called strike three will end the inning and now Dan Altavilla is on for the White Sox in the ninth inning trying to keep this game right where it is 3 to 1 Giants at bat from Wiseley right there. A little leadoff walk that brings up Ramos. What a move by al Villa as he picks off wisely at first tapper Altavilla Fields and just like that. There’s two down here in the ninth inning. So two outs Devers the batter swing and a Miss Alvia works around the leadoff. Walk the pick off. Certainly help. Here we go bottom of the ninth two to tie three to win. Camilo Deval still having an excellent year, but the last couple of times out have been rough and so feels like a big outing for Deval here to try to get the save on the ground to second. Wiseley throws him out one away big first out. Here’s Tauchman Deval trying to save it for Landon route. Nasty slider strike three two gone in the bottom of the ninth one more out to get chase Myra last chance for the Sox and he got him with the slider for the strikeout to finish the night and that was the camilo Deval. It’s been the Giants late inning stopper for much of this year. That was well done. And the Giants start this series with a nice 31 win.

When do we start worrying about Devers?
Let’s close out the first half of the season strong. Cmon Giants
Ramos is fantastic with runners on base. Why would you put him as a lead off hitter.
That slider to Tauchman was nasty.
Yay we finally beat a sh*t team
🧡🖤
Adames with two errors?
We have no offense, even with Devers, wake up already!!!
They need to fire the hitting coach. Can't even make contact. Abysmal clutch hitting. Also need to trade for another bat.
A win's a win, and they're always good. Still, would it be so much to ask for this team, just ONCE, to jump all over one of these bad teams and just blow them out from the start of a game? Never close, no torture, no comebacks, just dominance. Play like we're the 45-win team and they're the 25-win team?
I love it when I see SF Giants videos post on yt!
A win to start the road trip. Go Giants!
Adames with the double error on 1 play, which allowed the White Sox only run of the game. Not great.
need chapman back
Nice to see the fellas doing well after those marlin games.
Wow. Maybe Bailey's dying quail is what we we've been waiting for. Everybody get your sand wedges out!
I thought chewing tobacco was banned for players that entered the league after 2016… Devers mlb rookie season was in 2017 if I’m not mistaken. Does he pay a fine every year or is the rule just not enforced? I don’t care what he chews, just curious.
YAY!! But SLOPPY, sloppy base running AGAIN!! This kind of thing (Giants #1 THING OF LEAVING RUNNERS ON BASE) will kill a team in the playoffs!!!!
Another 0-4 game for Lee, he needs to get it together. Batting in the middle of the line up has hurt him this year, what was Melvin thinking.
JHL IS CRAZY!!! INSANE!!!!
Those white socks kits are rough.
walkfest
정후 힘내자. 응원합니다❤
Nice to see our Giants take a win again. I'm from Germany and only just recently became a Giants fan but already loving it. Such a great team.
aloha reeeeeetards. Devers does NOT chew chaw tobacco.
he chews gum mixed w/ sunflower seeds. duh duh duh
tobacco was banned 9 yrs ago in Boston etc. duh duh duh
Who does the highlight reels? I've been watching them more often when I can't watch/listen to a game. They're usually pretty good but they skipped over stuff I wanted to know in this game.
Also Giants fan so glad we won. And Doval get the save. Just wish the fans would stop pressuring him. He's got great stuff.
WHERE ARE THE BASE HITS???😮
The collapsing of offense became bigger after fire Wade Jr. 🤯KARMA
Chicago's uniforms look like a AA team
Adames is a huge liability besides being a complete bust.
Where are the highlight videos of the previous series against the Marlins?
back to Winning Ways
Not sure exactly what the pitches the Giant hurlers were throwing. Forkballs / sliders starting knee high in the strike zone , ending up hitting the plate or close. Hitters could not touch these pitches .
Lee is stone cold 🥶
Ramos looking good at leadoff;
Jh Lee now 3 for his last 35
batting. 248 and not producing
He is fading fast;
The SFGs have reached the midway point in the season 7 games over at 44-37; to make the post season, they will need to go 48-33 or 47-34 or play .580-.590 winning baseball. 91 or 92 wins should get them there but it won't be easy the way they swing the bars. Key series: MIL(3), PHI(3), NYM(6) and STL(6)…the latter team finishes the year out at Oracle Park. All the games are important but those 4 teams head to head will be the biggest because a W or a L is like 2 games in the WC Standings.
Good win form the Giants, but they continue to leave too many RISP
