Rosner puts it into perspective

  1. I’m slowly getting more excited for Heineman. A strong bottom six forechecker is exactly what this team needs, especially after trotting out Fasching and MacLean down there.

Gatcomb-Cizikas-Heineman could be a really fun line.

  2. Imagine they won a few of their last games and made it into the Wild Card spot? 😬

  3. We really can’t evaluate the Dobson trade yet until we see what the team does with that 9.5m of cap space.

The trade for him was Eklund, Aitchenson, Heineman and 9.5m of cap space.

The Dobson trade can turn out to be a grand slam if that money is used wisely.

  4. I think in all the news about Dobson and then of course the draft we sort of forgot about Ritchie a little bit lol.

Right now I see the following lines playing out:

    UFA/Lee-Horvat-Barzal

    UFA/Lee-Ritchie-Tsyplakov

    Heineman-JGP-Holmstrom

    Gatcomb-Zeeker-Palms? (maybe Tsyplakov here?)

  5. They probably got a better return on the 33 year old rental C than they did on the 25 year old top pair D.

  6. I just think we are headed in the right direction. We are younger and have more cap space. This year might be lean, but I like the new GM leading us in the future.

  7. I suppose it’s better than running the same shit back out there, but Nelson and Dobson weren’t the problems with the team.
