what’s going on everyone Chris from pickdogs.com Here to free pick in the Arizona Diamondbacks versus Miami Marlins Major League Baseball matchup going down Saturday June 28th 2025 Just a reminder if you haven’t already make sure you subscribe to our channel and smash that thumbs up And if you’re looking for my best bets the games that I love head to pickog.com click the experts tab at the top of the page It’s a great time to do so because we have a lot of action lined up for the week ahead Even though we are in the dog days of summer there’s still plenty of money to be made plenty of action to be had So make sure that you jump on board Remember to use the promo code pick at checkout and get 15% off your purchase And uh we also hit our goal of 250,000 subscribers here on our YouTube channel I appreciate each and every one of you that helped us get to where we are today But if you haven’t already hit that subscribe button by now please do so It’ll help us reach our next milestone which we’re going for a million And if you are new to our channel and you have uh you did hit that button welcome I can assure you guys we’re going to be making you some uh some crazy amounts of money coming up But it’s going to start right here when we look at this match up between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Miami Marlins and the Arizona Diamondbacks sending out Brandon Fought for the start in this one While the Marlins will counter with Sandy Alcantra and you know Alcantra was a pitcher that I faded you know plenty of time this season early on in the year because simply put he just did not look like the Sandy of old and now he has to pitch on the road where he does still have a 9.82 82 erra this season but in the month of June he’s been at his he’s clearly at his best You know clearly looking like the San Diego Contra of old A two-1 record across four starts a 2.74 erra a 207 opponent’s batting average only five walks issued when he issued 29 walks through the first two months of the season So I think that this is a you know a good spot for Alcantra to keep it going here Now the thing is is that the Arizona Diamondbacks continue to be a strong team against right-handed pitching which does give me some cause for concern However despite that you know the Diamondbacks are still around league average in terms of team OPS against righties You know the isolated power numbers are the better numbers of the two in this matchup but the Miami Marlins are also doing damage against righties themselves hitting 287 a 19.2% strikeout rate is one of the lowest in baseball you know bottom five or I should say top five lowest in in baseball in the last two weeks And they’re going against Brandon F who you know for me is still not a trustworthy option in this uh in this Diamondbacks rotation He’s had plenty of issues this season And when you look at just some of the numbers that Brandon Fox put together I mean at home this year he’s still got a better erra but it’s a 4.08 RA at home a 296 opponent’s batting average So with the way that the uh the Marlins have been able to drum up some hits together I think that this is going to be a uh you know a tricky spot for you know Fox to try to navigate his way through Like I said I think that the Marlins have the better option on the mound here And when it comes down to it in later games if if Alcantra can be serviceable and we’ve known Alcantra excuse me Alcantra to be a pitcher that can uh eat up enough innings he doesn’t really have to turn it over to a a rough Marlins bullpen Well the Marlins have actually been pretty solid out of the pen over the last seven days A 2.45 erra All the Diamondbacks are still not a team I trust despite a 1.37 RA in the last seven days as well So for me I just think that Alcantra more likely to go deep into this game not be be able to control the game more on its own hand And I think that uh there’s a spot for the Marlins in this series here So I’m going to take a shot on the Marlins in this one And that’s going to be my free pick But just a reminder if you haven’t already make sure you subscribe to our channel and smash that thumbs up And if you’re looking for my best bets you can find those at Pick Dogs Premium Why your Pic Dogs Check out our betting tools They’re 100% free They’re the best betting tools in the business and tools that you want to make sure that you have in your back pocket when you’re making your best bets for the day’s action Thanks for watching See you guys soon
