It’s a 123 1st Diamondbacks coming up back home here and there’s a Perez and now under way with his fourth start of the year, Perez has been looking too good to especially with that fastball velocity and that one popped up left side of the third baseman Norby circling into foul ground. He makes the catch just behind the third base coaching box. Arizona stands with, you could tell Mart-n tremendous ovation from the Diamondbacks teammates and coaches rallied around him. Now the fans have had their chance as well hammered to second base couple of Hopper for Edwards and an easy play two away and goes after the changeup and a 123 frame for Perez as we go to the second no score after one, Merrill Kelly out there for the Diamondbacks gets the fastball by him and there’s one away that’s a high fly ball, not very deep, left center slicing towards Gurriel. And now in the gap, he makes the catch goes to old faithful that changeup. Kelly has struck out three of the first six. We are scoreless against the Marlin. It’s the bottom of the order coming up for the Marlins. Here’s a 32 swing and he is down on strikes. That’s now four strikeouts for me who continues to throw the ball just brilliantly swing and a miss. So it gets a nice kick there for herrera long throw to first and they get the strikeout nicely done by jose Herrera. This is out to right field. Jake mccarthy is there backing up all the way to the wall and that is going to do it here for the Marlins in the top of the third. And sure enough, he missed with a slider, the first baserunner for either side, see if they want to get jake off and running with Alec Thomas at the plate and there goes mccarthy Thomas showed Bunnett got behind Ramirez and jake is in at second. That one kicks away and mccarthy gets to third after all a walk, a stolen base and a wild pitch infield comes in for the Marlins RB. I chance for Alec. Alec launches one high in the air to the right field corner. It is caught in foul territory. Here comes Jake and the Diamondbacks have the lead Harvey Eye for alex Thomas round ball right side snag there nicely by Wagman to Perez who makes a good catch himself there from that big 68 body. What a great play by Yuri Perez getting over making that play. It’s not easy when you try to hit that moving target. A Lopez struck out his first time up, hammered base hit first one for the Marlins. It’s down the line. It will be another extra base hit Lopez and the Marlins he will stop at second with a double and now an eight game hitting streak for Otto, all of a sudden, ramirez is coming up with a situation where he can get Miami on the board and he rips that one over the head of Suarez and into the corner. Lopez will indeed score as ramirez pulls in his second. That’s double number 13 for the rookie and we’ve got a 11 ball game. So back to back doubles and now ST with a chance to give the Marlins the lead that’s driven deep to right center field and Thomas is not going to get it. It’s going to go to the wall, another extra base hit this time off the bat of Stour and the Marlins lead 2 to 13 extra base hits in a row for the Marlins. It’s a leadoff walk. That’s how the third started mccarthy drew the leadoff walk, Geno dunks it into left and that’s the Diamondbacks first hit two on and two out for goal. Here he go, swing and a miss. He got him on the slider D backs lead two here in the fourth, Connor Norby struck out his first time up tonight in the third ground ball to shortstop back ended by perdomo throws over the body dropped at first base safe at first, Josh Naylor dropped that ball that would have beat Connor Norby and that’s outside. Good job by Sinoa. He works the walk up the middle off the glove that’s going to make it a tricky play and there’s no play. He said infield hit for Edwards and the bags are loaded here in the fifth. Lopez has now hit safely in eight consecutive games. Soft ground ball, tough play. Kelly fielding throws to first one that he throws it at the right field, two runs will score. Wow. I don’t know what Merri Kelly was thinking on this play for a second. I thought he was actually going to try to barehanded and get it to Herrera at home, but all of a sudden he turns and just fires to nowhere mccarthy walks, stole the base scored, only run mccarthy hits a liner and it’s on its way that’s gone. Now, that’s how you answer back the first of the year for jake Boy, what a boost it would be if we can get Jake mccarthy going again. A one out walk and Geraldo Perdomo will beat the batter but Clayton mccullough headed out to the mound, he’s going to go get his pitcher and here is Perdomo zero for two. Perdomo hits a high fly ball out to the splash down time. It’s a game tying two run shot his ninth of the season. Perdomo keeps delivering in the clutch kyle Stour to his 39th run. He leads the team in RBIs driven deep to right field. It’s going going, it’s gone. Goodbye. They answered right there. Gabby home run ST his team leading 13th 54. Miami will leave trailing 5 to 4. Here is now back to back games Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon in Chicago both scoreless and that one goes off the leg of Naylor and in the right field, Norby stung that baseball. It is a base hit so base hit for Norby that will bring up soo he drives it to left center field. Norby is going to get a chance here round second, it goes to the wall. Norby is going to score and so Noah’s to go for third. Here’s the throw triple for and it’s an RB I triple for a 64 Fish in the top of the sixth. Another two out hit Alec drove in the first run with a fly in the third. Alec Thomas hits a fly ball to the pole and there it goes left on left for Thomas. That’s alex fourth and it’s a one run ball game. The third diamond back home run tonight and is zero for three tonight delivers well hit left center field. That’s got a chance and it is gone. Goodbye home run, Roberto Hernandez, his second major league homer and the Marlins are back on top by two. The rookies keep doing it. A Lopez has two hits and four times up an infield single with an RB I and he drives one deep to left field. Thomas is going back, it is over the yellow line in center field and Marlins strike again in the night. A two run homer by Otto Lopez his seventh of the year Tyler Phillips on the season 3.89. Er A, it’s a good sinker, curveball sweeper. He has a four fastball, he’ll throw up in the zone. A change up down. Richard gets it started it to left and now the batter is alex Thomas. Alex Spanks it the other way high hot for Lopez who can’t make a play and everybody’s safe. That’s an E six and the door is open. Herrera has got the base hit. They went to their closer for, he gets them out in the seventh. They bring in the kid Phillips in the ninth and he’s loaded the bases with nobody out. He has walked in a run. The Marlins have still not recorded an out zero for four. Smith finds a gap. Thomas is home. They will. Perdomo is into third. Smith knocks him more time runs 90 ft away. Perdomo at third. Tim Tawa is the hitters, ground ball to second runner is going, they’re going to go for two. Here’s one Marlins win it. The Marlins have won five consecutive games.
