The TRUTH About Jalen Green In Phoenix..

huge reporting from Sham Shirania that the Suns are trading 15time all-star Kevin Durant to the Rockets for Jaylen Green Dylan Brooks first round pick in 5 seconds
no no no no no no no wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait
just hours before game seven of the NBA finals began Sunday evening the Kevin Durant Suns saga came to an end two and a half years and six playoff game wins later it’s done now while KD is still very much the same player he’s always been he is going on 37 years of age and in the end the league spoke loudly as to his trade value still it was shocking i’m sure the Suns thought they were going to get more in return for the two-time finals MVP than just Jaylen Green Dylan Brooks 10th pick and five twos i hate to say it but this was a fleecing at the end of the day the Rockets didn’t come off of one player that they didn’t want to the 10th pick is the only saving grace we need to talk about Jaylen Green but first hit the like button for me and tell me in the comments what did you initially think about the Suns acquiring Jaylen Green here’s the thing he’s gained a bad reputation lately due to a lack of consistency there’s no doubt about that specifically during the Rockets 7game series with Steph and the Warriors golden State won 9585 in game one and Jaylen Green was awful three for 15 from the field and 0 for four from three game two Green explodes for 38 points hitting eight threes boom the Rockets have life in the series in the end though he would score 12 or less points in six out of those seven games not a good look and there you see why his reputation is so in the dumps i’m honestly glad though that Suns fans aren’t expecting much from him i think he will be a pleasant surprise and extremely fun to watch suns fans expected a title run or three when Bradley Beal got to the valley and when reality ended up as far away from expectations as they were things turned toxic but Jaylen Green is better than Bradley Beal and people are sleeping on that he’s a younger way more athletic version of Bradley Beal with an extremely low bar to hurdle for fans respect the fact that he’s healthy most of the time alone will be endearing but the biggest thing here is that he’s only 23 years old so you have to ask yourself is 23 years old too late to improve could his mostly poor playoff performances have been a symptom of not being ready for that moment at such a young age we never saw Devin Booker playing in the playoffs against the Warriors at age 23 could the Warriors have shut him down with their playoff intensity i don’t know but now Jaylen has Devin Booker as a mentor with a young coach known for his player friendly free flowing offense if there’s anything I learned from these most recent playoffs it’s that the modern NBA requires you to have multiple guards that can create for themselves when the team needs a bucket and simple catch and shoot opportunities aren’t readily available jaylen Green is not the defender that Andrew Nemhard is but he’s better offensively and the one thing you can say about Jaylen Green is he’s improved the most on the defensive side of the ball over the years depending on how you feel about steals and defensive ratings brian Gregory said that the Suns want to field a team that the fans will enjoy watching jaylen Green is the epitome of that his combination of shooting and athleticism is honestly nuts and it’s going completely underappreciated because he wasn’t ready for playoff intensity at 23 years old would I have liked to have had Jabari Smith Jr instead of course but in the end the Suns did get an extremely talented young player that it is their responsibility now to develop properly his three-point percentage has been hovering just under 35% but he shoots a lot of threes they aren’t always easy catch and shoots suns probably need to get him to rein in his shot selection a little bit other than that his game speaks for itself you see the athleticism and scoring ability it just comes down to whether or not you think he’s peaked at 23 years old i personally don’t think that’s how it works but hey we’re going to find out thanks for hanging out we’ll see you guys soon

Suns fans might be a little pre mature with the Jalen Green hate.

  1. LOLOL they called Booker an inefficient shot chucker, who will never impact winning when he was 23… Like y'all we got a bugatti athlete, who can shot create from 3 levels, off the catch, or off the bounce. Dude actually has a bag too. He's too talented to not figure it out eventually. Y'all trippin if you arent excited to get Green. That being said like the rest of yall i thought we could/should have gotten another piece (smith, sheppard, whitmore, eason) or at least one more of our picks back (#10 is technically our pick returning)

  2. This is exactly what I'm thinking! Get rid of Beal we now have what we wanted from Beal on a younger body… He still has so much growing and like you said we never saw book in the playoffs against the warriors at that age

  3. i clicked on this video hoping that to soothe my pain of having Jalen green in phoenix and i got no answers. Ive never had less hope for this org 🙁

  4. Rockets fan here. JG is undeniably talented, he's just immature, but hey, he's 23. He disappeared offensively sometimes but i think that's due to the immaturity and that he never meshed with Sengun. Sengun plays a slow paced, old school post up game, and Jalen Green is a freakish athlete that needs to play fast. If he gets serious about his job, he'll light it up.

  5. Try out green at pg try to turn him n2 uh okc Westbrook type he’s explosive can create his own shot drives and finishes at uh gd level ppl put 2 much on the warriors series they have multiple wing defenders with excellent ball pressure and Draymond helping they keyed n his series was disappointing 4sure but it was his 1st sengun struggled that series also

  6. Jalen green get the first all star appearances next season higitan mo pa ang nagawa mo sa Houston kung nadala mo sa play offs ang Houston kaya mo din yan gawin sa phoenix Suns alongside with booker

  7. Rockets fan here, JG is like playing roulette at the local Casino. When he hits your number that feeling is so good, but most of the time he's going to bust. You'll want to buy insurance lol

  8. So good for the suns… worse fo the Rockets,Jalen was the biggest factor to made Rockets step on to the playoffs while Durant Failed what Jalen DOES 🤣🤣🤣

  9. Main problem,he finished his 4 NBA season..and in 4 seasons you look at stats,it's no improve at any stats..dude basically chucking shots at 40-42% all 4 years

…it's rare when you can't find one stats from year 1 to year 4 from players and say damm he really improved in such and such category

  10. I'm a Rockets fan. If the Suns keep JG, you guys are in for some fun basketball moments. His ceiling is ridiculous, but his heart didn't always seem to be there.

  11. He gives me young jr smith vibes but a little leaner, either way I’m glad to have a 23 year old pure scorer who is not even close to his prime yet and we can do things with him (no diddy) whether trade him or integrate him with book and regarding brooks, I never been a fan of him but I probably will because he’s one of those players like draymond where you HATE when he’s not on your team but if he is on your team you absolutely love his game and toughness..idk I’m excited either way because anything is better than the Beal/kd/book excitement for the past 3 seasons

  12. We should keep JG and Brooks. Trade Book or arrange a buyout for Beal. Also plan on utilizing Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro HEAVILY this upcoming season, as they're our future and need developing

  13. It's all about personalities and how they mesh. I pray that Book and Green click, have fun playing together and bring out the best in each other. 🙏

  14. I don’t hate this trade for the Suns. The Durant situation wasn’t working. He also turns 37 before training camp starts and his contract expires. If the Suns can get a solid starter with the #10 pick on a rookie deal, then they come out okay.

  15. Jalen Green reminds me of fox and kd with all the ups and down with his play style needs more off ball game, team defense, hopefully the sun can help him develop his game so he can be more efficient.

  16. Bro they got what they deserved by not taking the offers before hand …YALL ARE MISSING THE POINT… POINT GAURDS THAT CAN SPRING LIKE JALEN AND IS ONLY 23 IS WHERE THE LEAGUE IS GOING PLUS IF YOU LOOK AT SUNS HISTORY THEY ONLY WIN WHEN THE HAVE A GOOD POINT GAURD NOW WATCH DEVIN FEED OFF HIS ABILITY TO GET TO THE RIM

  17. He’s 1000 years better than Jabari Smith 🤣🤣🤣 they got the correct person, rockets had two players that damn near need to be ball dominant, not to mention the luxury tax of having him, Amen and Alphren. Jalen Green and Book will be so dangerous…

  18. I never cared for KD's game on any team, any time. Poor shot selection and other players have a tendency to sit back and watch him play. One on one battles his handles are "if" at best. His defense is starting to show his aging. Good riddance! I am still hoping they get away with Dillon Brooks on a trade. Any trade.

  19. I was hoping for Shepard. I don’t think he has peaked, but I wouldn’t expect great improvement from what he has shown so far unless he doesn’t smoke weed, there’s always a chance for players who don’t smoke weed.

  20. Ime is known to bench players who miss defensive assignments, JG sat out on many clutch moments cause of this, which stifled his "clutch" abilities. I blame Silas for allowing bad AAU habits early on with the Rox
